OrionOS is a project based on slim. The name Orion was chosen as a representation of the beauty and vastness of the world around us (Too much Philosophy, eh? ). We started this project for Falcon (Moto G), to make a stable Rom, which would include Bitsyko layers and important customization. The Rom is built with Uber toolchain which delivers awesome smoothness and includes a custom kernel built from ground-up to ensure good performance [WIP]. I clean wiped internal SD and copied ROM and recommended nano gapps to my external SD and clean flashed.
Getting "google keyboard has stopped" on first bootup and prevents setup.
I rebooted and get the same thing.
I'll try clean flashing again but with a slightly older/different gapps package.

Ahh, sorry. In an effort to fix the CM style quick settings, I installed Exposed/GravityBox and that killed your navigation bar and a reboot resulted in SystemUI stopped.
I'll let the ROM setting in a bit before trying again. Thank you for sharing though.

I'm wondering how you make it support dual sim (it not supported dualsim on previos version) , are those commits in "frameworks_opt_telephony" on march 23? or kernel related or devicetree related? It will help purenexus and DU rom to support dualsim soon. I'll appreciate for your directions.

Don't like not being able to use gravity box or xperia/aosp navbar but ROM is great otherwise.

Observation
I just clean flashed the 4/4 build and encountered 2 issues.
1. Google Keyboard FC that has been reported. I disabled this and installed SwiftKey. It isn't fun trying to navigate to apkmirror.com with Google voice input...
2. My PNY 128GB microSD was detected but reported as corrupted. I formatted this with Aomei Partition Assistant to exFAT to get > 4GB file support. I needed to back this up anyway so I copied off all contents to my external HD and deleted the partition. I put the card back in to my Pure and let the phone format it. Once it was formatted and ready, I removed and put the card back in my W10 machine and it appeared to not be detected. It was only when I went into Aomei and noticed it was in fact detected but Windows did not automatically assign it a drive letter. Once I did this, Windows showed it as expected but it was formatted as FAT32. I would expect MM to format all cards with exFAT at this point.
I am restoring everything now, I will report any other issues that I encounter.

If anyone is facing any issues with installing a substratum theme for Pixel Launcher, it will be because of the fact that the ROM comes preloaded with Android O Pixel launcher.
For instance, as of posting this thread, if you try to install Swift Black theme v6.3 for Pixel launcher, you'll get an error because the theme doesn't support the Android O Pixel launcher. The theme has to be updated from the developer's side. Some themes like BlackStock theme works as they support the Android O Pixel launcher.
If anyone is wondering how to get their non supported theme for Pixel launcher O, here's how :
1. (Optional) Take a backup of the current Pixel Launcher (that is the Android O version).
2. Uninstall Pixel launcher, you can use Titanium Backup or NoBloat Free for that. (I always just copy the Pixel launcher folder into my sd card or something from /system/app).
3. Reboot the device.
4. Install Pixel launcher from play store.
5. Use substratum and theme it. If you want the swipe right for Google now, don't install the theme, and proceed to step 6.
6. Convert the downloaded Pixel launcher (from step 4) into a system app. The easiest way to do this is by using Link2SD. Go into user apps, tap and hold on Pixel launcher, tap on "convert to system app", tap "ok", reboot. Now install substratum theme that you would like and it'll work (plus you have the swipe right feature).
That's it, now you can use substratum themes for your Pixel launcher. Enjoy!

1) change selinux to permissive by enabling the local terminal from developer options and write this.
su
setenforce 0
OR
2) go to viper settings and enable developer mode and disable selinux.

Just a question, is this ROM Rootless (i.e, doesn't come rooted out of the box), or Rooted.
Mainly just cause I use Magisk and not just for root, but tweaks as well.

[WIFI] Toggle wifi 2 - 3 times from settings->network & internet ONLY for now. This will be fixed in upcoming update(s)
[MAGISK] Flash Magisk after first boot. Supported magisk Magisk v21.0
[SAFETY NET] Safety net passes without magisk. If you flash magisk to root, just go to settings of magisk manager, and turn on magisk hide. (this needs to done as per new magisk/google policies for passing safetynet on magisk)

This ROM is ultra stable so far , was using arrow os based on android 11 but have to say that this ROM has way more customisations than that one . It has a look similar to One Ui and is very smooth .
Just one suggestion for the developers it would be really cool if we can have an auto accent picker like that in windows 10 . I mean the one which can keep on changing accents on its own in a fixed interval .

Update:-
Just found a minor bug , there isn't any option to toggle live captions in the volume panel . I had used PixelExperience based on android 10 and in that one there was an extra button in the volume panel to toggle live captions

Live caption is already present. You just need to explore it. Settings->Accessibility->Live Caption, then download required things from there and turn it on.

For the time being I am using nikgapps but I'll flash the one from open gapps as soon as they release it . anyways both do the same thing

VoLTE is not working. To confirm, use any other 4G sim: Airtel or VI and if you are able to make calls then VoLTE is non functional on your handset. You can get it back by flashing Stock ROM.

Try flashing any pie rom, then 10, then 11.
