hey guyz
ive been using my S2 for a month now!
Yesterday i noticed on a plain white screen @ full brightness a blue tint on the top left side of my screen.
Does anyone else have this problem ? Is it a Problem ?
Thanks
nikoceballos
Yes, I have the same trouble... blue tint over left corner... its not very annoying, but its there... not correspond to a top smartphone... I think its hardware. I'll let you know when I take it to warranty...
Have it replaced, the S2 is quite known to have some screen quality issues.
Guys, same here... Very annoying while reading a book...
@nikoceballos : Any luck with sammy?..
I have the same problem, once i noticed it, it became annoying when reading documents, I've contacted the agents to get it replaced, awaiting their answer.
Its definitely a hardware issue, the agents first tried to convince me its normal by showing me another Galaxy S and SII phones that have it.
Blue tint on top left
Same issue here yaar...blue tint on the top left...Not that much annoying but yaa its there...otherwise performance is superb..plz post a solution if somebody finds any...i wont go for a replacement since i heard as replacement they wont give u a sealed new piece....

Dear friends I have a problem with my Galaxy S2.
My Galaxy S2 shows clear burn-in images.
Practically when i lauch the browser, on the Google white page (or others white pages) i noticed, at the bottom, the "shadows" of menu bar icons!!!! And they are permanent.
I bought my GS2 4 months ago and i set always brightness to maximum (cause i work in the sunlight).
And...for only any weeks and already got burnin?!!?
I'm very bothered.
Someone has same problem here?
That's one flaw with Amoled screens. The technology is relatively new. Check this out for more info.
I would suggest avoiding 100% brightness. Instead use 80 or 90% as they look almost the same. It takes much more power to get that last bit brightness.

Use an black wallpaper for a while and tell me if it work'd for you.
I used to have this very problem and i'v just changed my wallpaper to
black and now i dont have the "burn effect" hope that it helps you.

Hello
I bought my tab s7 plus 2 weeks ago, and today i noticed that my screen have some strange vertical banding? I can See it on grey background, for example in chrome. Is IT normal?
Normal as no screen is perfect. If you consider it acceptable or not is up to you.
Always check the screen of any device when you receive it. Also, use it for a few hours to let the screen settle just to make sure. If it bothers you, exchange it.
Keep in mind the bigger the screen, the higher chance for imperfections. That's why your phone, most likely, has a more uniform screen than your tablet.

I used to have this on my Tab S6 also. But it was only visible on gray backgrounds.
