Here's another way but NO SUPPORT.

WHAT'S THIS?
OnePlus China released H2OS 2.5 Open Beta for OnePlus2 with VoLTE-enabled firmware.
It worked in CM14 and other CM based ROM but there still too many random reboots...
I tried to revert firmware to Oxygen one by flashing OxygenOS 3.1.0 zip in TWRP but it caused baseband lost ( = no Wi-fi, No cellular network).
Finally I found official guide to revert HydrogenOS 2.5 to 2.0.
I tried it and it works!
Once you revert to HydrogenOS 2.0, you can flash Oxygen zip in TWRP to revert Oxygen firmware.
GUIDE
BE SURE TO TAKE FULL BACKUP OR YOUR DATA WILL BE GONE!
0. Make sure you are in HydrogenOS 2.5. If not, you need to flash it with TWRP.
1. Download "FlashTool_OnePlus2.exe" and "H2OS_2.0_160810.7z" from the link below.
2. Open "FlashTool_OnePlus2.exe"
3. In upper box select "H2OS_2.0_160810.7z".
4. Check all checkboxes.
5. Connect OnePlus2 to your computer and boot into fastboot (long press VolUP + Power).
6. Press lower right button.
7. It will reboots automatically.
If you want, reboot into fastboot again and "fastboot flash recovery xxx" -> boot into recovery -> flash OxygenOS

Okay, 1 problem, the second IMEI shows 0.
I confirmed issue SIM 2 IMEI shows 0. I tried to erase modemst1, modemst2 and flash persist again but it did not work...

Well thanks for the update..but i took a proper backup (when i was on OOS) of both modemst1 and 2 using zips made my Spannaa ...
so i will try them...
well I found modemst1 and modemst2 image in H2OS_2.0.7z is empty binary...
I tried to erase both but only IMEI1 is recovered and I tried flash H2OS 2.5 again but IMEI2 still 0 too...
In other thread someone said erase modemst1 , 2 and flash persist worked fine but it did not work for me.
There still no solution now and I'll keep looking for it...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you too a backup of your EFS prior to flashing H2OS 2.5.1. Most ppl did not do so, therefore IMEI 2 is 0.

If you have the persist partition backup made with twrp you could try that also. In my case I had to do that.
My IMEI2 is back!!!!! (Edited: lost it again)
Flash empty modemst1 and modemst2 with

fastboot flash -S 512M modemst1 [file_modemst1]
fastboot flash -S 512M modemst2 [file_modemst2]
and reboot my IMEI2 backed!

This worked to perfection! Not sure about SIM 2 as I only use SIM 1.. Guess I could put my SIM into slot 2? But anyway.. What I did to help facilitate this fix was did everything as stated in OP .. Then, I ran the program from Method 1 Here and then flashed the latest Oxygen rom ... Everything is fine!!

Hi guys,
Few days back I tried to go back to stock ROM , the process was fully completed , but when I booted my handset, I suffered from bootloop , I applied command "fastboot erase all" (in minimal adb and fastboot) , I came back to bootloader and downloaded another stock ROM did all the processing and my phone booted up properly........(now the main topic comes) :crying:I inserted my sims and saw there was no signal (my phone did told me the name of carrier I was on) but no signal..when I checked my imei number it was 0.....plzzzz help guys,.
My devices' information:-
Name- moto e 2015 4g
Imei-0
Country-India
Note-if u need any other information about my devices plzz comment, I will be online while day.:good:
I was faced same problem in my Moto xt1506,
try the following
1st install xposed module imei changer and apply new Imei and reboot ...,
I think above method don't work so let's try once..,
2nd
Download 3 Stock images i.e Stock-5.0/5.1/6.0(if available)
and then only take Modem files from Each ROM
Try to flash 5.0 modem
if no success
Try to flash 5.1 modem
and again 6.0
try above method u will get success..
And flash using these commands
mfastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin mfastboot erase modemst1 mfastboot erase modemst2 mfastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn
I hope ur problem will be solve
If you take the band off your phone you should see a little tab sticking out below the volume button. Pull on it and when it slides out you will see your imei number printed on there.
See this thread for info on how to enable baseband programming, steps 1 - 5 should be what you need to try to fix this http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e-2015/general/guide-enable-lte-bands-surnia-t3351673
Step 5 links to this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/general/how-to-add-rf-lte-frequency-bands-to-t2886059), and step 4 in that thread links to QPST. I don't know if that will work, but it's probably worth checking out.

Hi guys, i recently updated from miui 8.1.1 on my kenzo but didn't like it much.
So i updated to beta rom 6.12.22 through updater app and further updated it to 6.12.29 by incremental ota.
Suddenly both my sims started showing "no service" and the problem has been there since. I have flashed global fastboot rom 7.1.8 , global beta dev rom 6.7.21 and global beta dev rom 6.12.29 also through edl mode but signals just aren't coming back.
Screenshots are below, please help me with this.
Device is kenzo.
I keep pressing turn on radio button in *#*#4636#*#* but nothing happens.
P.S :- IMEI is just fine and sims work on other devices too.
Please help!!
Are you sure you have a "Kenzo" and not a "Kate" and have fastboot flashed the wrong roms?

No the phone isn't opened. But i had an accident 2 weeks ago. My phone wasn't harmed much. I just have a slight dent below the left of the fp sensor. The dent is slight and the sims worked great for few days after that too. But then all of a sudden both signals disappeared one night.

then you should take it to service centre, as you said you had flashed fastboot rom too.. then issue doesnt seems to be on software front.

No i haven't solved it, can not restore imei because baseband version is still unknown even after flashing modemst1 and 2 , flashing cm13 radios etc. :/
Flash qcn data may be it helps . it can be done by qpst tool from Qualcomm. Same case with my qiku 808 I restored qcn backup and phone takes a breath of signal.
Removed until I can create proper trees.

I ended up with zero IMEI on Resurrection Remix Nougat after wiping modemst1 and modemst2 in fastboot (but I didn't flash the firmware, I was just testing to see if my persist is fine with the firmware I already had). Now I'm on AICP Oreo, I did the same thing - wipe using fastboot and everything is fine, also worked fine when I was testing this ROM on Oreo modem firmware. But since it happened to you on LOS 16, are you using fastboot on Windows? I think it might be fastboot's fault because on Nougat I wiped on Windows but now since I was compiling I had to use Linux instead. I think the Windows version of fastboot may be bugged, at least for this device. I also had problems with wiping cache and data while flashing the stock ROM - and I was also using fastboot on Windows then. I think I'll edit the OP and instruct to use TWRP for this instead, maybe I'll make a flashable zip just for wiping the modem cache.

As @Ænimal said, there should be an option in TWRP. Alternatively you can use dd to back up any partition you want on any TWRP version. You can use dd while in TWRP either in the terminal or using ADB
Code:
dd if=[path_to_partition] of=[backup_file_path]
For example, to backup /persist to a microSD card and name the file "persist.img":
Code:
dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/persist of=/external_sd/persist.img

If you booted LOS 14 after wiping modemst1 and modemst2 but before flashing LOS 16 then you will need to wipe them again, but the order of installation - whether the modem firmware first or the ROM should not matter. The first time I actually got the fingerprint scanner working I was on full Nougat firmware with a test build of LOS 16 installed. I just booted to fastboot, ran the 3 commands (flash modem and erase modemst1 and 2) and booted straight back into the system, everything was working. Another time when I was going to flash a test build I had restored the older modem firmware and was on the AICP Oreo ROM. I did the same thing, booted into fastboot and ran the commands. Then I booted straight to TWRP from the fastboot menu using the volume and power buttons. I did the usual wipe - system, cache, dalvik and data. Then I flashed LOS 16 and rebooted. Worked perfectly that time as well.

Thanks, it should be pretty stable now. There weren't nearly as many hardware-related changes from Oreo to Pie as from Nougat to Oreo. Though I understand if you don't want to have to deal with downgrading the firmware in case you need to restore an older ROM. I should be able to switch to a Pie-based ROM on my phone for good soon and if everything works well then I'm going to label it as stable.
@Ænimal the flashable zips are up now if you need them.

Yes, the fingerprint scanner will not work on Nougat modem firmware. It's weird that the fingerprint scanner depends on the modem firmware but that's what fixes it. I've also only got the RIL and NFC working after flashing the Oreo modem firmware so I can't guarantee that either will work on Nougat firmware.

I don't know if it's mandatory, but I would strongly recommend wiping everything before installing LOS 16. Also, if you downgraded your firmware to Nougat (in order to get fingerprint working) you need upgrade it back to Oreo firmware before installing LOS 16 (it doesn't work with Nougat firmware)
Great rom has great battery life very smooth ui but Network traffic monitor and Bluetooth is not working

You must flash vbmeta2 then boot.img
fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta2.img
Do you try v10? You can not flash from v7 to v10 and please check your driver
ok i have done it. Somehow the wifi toggle wasnt working but after flashing vbmeta and boot its ok.
i managed to go to A7 stock and now is updating to A10.
One thing i noticed, the combination of volume down and start button has changed only to fastboot.
And the only way to go to recovery is from command
also it can not recognise the sim cards
and the updade through ota is failed. it can not verify says

You can't update from 7 to 10. You must flash ota file with v9, then Upgrade to 10.
Wlan and Bluetooth works, after flash v7 again
Here ota files

Please put both file to your otg storage and flash it, with stock recovery. Every time after flash vbmeta2
You can start recovery with fastboot reboot recovery
Downgrading from 10 to 7 was not successful. Even if the rom works it can not recognise the sim cards.
Now i am flasing 10 to see if it works
during flashing its says "Invalid sparse file format at header magic" do this has something to do with drivers?

Hi, good ota flash 07 to 09?
Yeah OTA flash from 07 to 09, then a flash from 09 to 10 and followed up with the rooted boot image to make sure everything was as you described. Works flawlessly!
Is there any way to flash the ROM without fastboot? I bricked the phone and I'm unable to get to fastboot.
