1. Perform a full wipe through Aroma or TWRP (System, Data, Davlik Cache, Cache)
2.Flash the ROM
3.After Flashing, Extract opensesame.zip in your Internal Memory.

5.Enable All the Xposed Modules(All 3 modules are can be hidden from launcher) and reboot.
6. Go to Settings>Applications>Default Applications>CallingApp and select Phone.

1. Can't change Lockscreen Wallpaper.
2. If recents button is tapped on, without any recent app, the screen turns black and reboot is req.

Here is the full pro and cons after using 2days.
Cons
1) Setting upper layer white words .......and Sound¬ification,when i open
Notification full blank .plz fix . I attach ss for layer white words..
Sir fix plz
2)u remove samsung Account,samsung theme store ,Gallaxy Store ...Voice recorder.
I menage all that and fix that ...
3)when i get notification watsapp or facebook . Notification no not shows in mesage,Phone ,or thirdparty apps..plz fix
4)after restar or power on /off mesage fc once ....but after that it works nobproblem..if it will fix ....do it sir......
5)sir when i click menu or/3dot in ani app its open tooo lagy and slow plz fix plz fix sir very annoying...
6)when sim one network down sim 2 same way down ....plz fix....
All the above this rom is 99%bug free and daily use..,

7)after install the rom clock show 24hr .. i select 12hr but it stay 24hr ..
Fix is .. select 12hr and reboot ..it will fix

8)provide stock wither widget...p
And Plz convert 4g to Lte

1. That's an Android Nougat feature, not a bug. To fix it, disable N-ify.
2.I removed Samsung Apps & Account, because it is a Pixel ROM based on Google, not a touchwiz ROM won"t add any Samsung Stuff is V2 also.
3. I don't understand the query, please be more clear. Notifications work perfectly.
4. Will be fixed in V2, it's a minor bug.
6. I didn't notice that bug. I'll check if you say so.
7. Yes, you gotta reboot after changing the time format, then only xposed modules will work.
8. It's a Google Rom. you'll get google weather after you enable location, It is the Android N pixel laucnher.
Will try 4g to LTe in V2. Again, Thank You so much for the detailed review.

Turn off your mobile
Now press volume-down and power button at same time
Your mobile boots into CWM recovery
Use volume buttons to navigate and power button to select
Choose to erase data and cache(Factory Reset)
Select Advanced=>Choose wipe Dalvik Cache
Time to install the ROM
Choose to install ROM.zip
Install rom.zip from SD card
Choose the <zip-name>.zip
Confirm Yes to install the ROM
Installation begins!
Let the installation finish
Choose to restart after installation completes
Please be very patient! The first boot takes longer which is completely normal...
After that, CONGRATULATIONS! You have installed the MIUI successfully

mobile networks > other settings > Ring step up
the incoming calls on my phone stops it just shows. the error of system ui stop. infact some times the mobile networks become unusable while tempering with its options . thank you

Are you sure of this? Because, even I use this setting, but no crash! Please check for any misconfiguration.... And how is the ROM so far? Any better? Are you really satisfied? Thanks....

Unfortunately NO! I have tried porting those but ended in softbrick! I am going to release a more recent version of miui....

Offcourse! Why not? It's not that worst chip, it's quad core! I am in the chase... If no official mediatek kitkat release, then I'll develop the ROM myself!!!

So do I Slow down my friend! I am trying hard to find a good kitkat ROM, but nothing available... Everything is buggy or leading to soft brick..... I promise you that as soon as I find a good stable bugless ROM, I will upload one soon! I will be uploading a recent version of MIUI soon.... Thanks man!

are you talking about multiwindow ??if you wanna disable it go to settings/display & untick multiwindow
or if you wanna change side from left to right top bottm open multivindow and long press it and move to any direction you want

Tips, Tricks & Modifications
Tips & Tricks :
1. You might might feel that the battery consumption is a little high
So to reduce the consumption
Open Settings > Open WiFi > Click on Advanced > Switch off the option " Scanning always available "
2. If Google Maps is not working for you -
Open Settings > Open Location > Click on Mode > Change to High Accuracy - Then open the app , it may force close then restart the device and the app will work normally.
3. Increase Performance of ROM -
Open Settings > Open Battery > Turn off the CPU Power Saving Mode - This will increase the performance of ROM and will give higher scores in all benchmarking apps like Antutu, Nenamark & many more. It gets turned ON automatically whenever you restart the device so have to turn it OFF everytime.

download is very very slow
sir, I tried many times to download. The speed is at 20 kbps. I tried to download by dev-host download manager. But, this is downloading virus. Kindly guide me how to download this rom with high speed.

Just click the blue download button and download will start automatically.
Use a PC to download ROM and use Internet Download Manager ( IDM )

Sir, thanks a lot. your suggestion worked best. Very nice and excellent rom for use. The rom is beautiful and stable. But, the second is not working for me. Is it a common bug or specific for me. Others to please clarify.
Solution to the First bug mentioned !!
"Google imposed new restrictions in Android 4.4 update.Data can only be read and not written so some of the file explorers may not work. You will not be able to delete any data present on your internal memory through the phones file manager."
I have face this in Discovery and posted the solution on its forum.

You can change these file permissions in your rom and upload it again, so to make it easier for everyone.(Just a suggestion)
Addressing the power button "unresponsive" problem,
it happens very rarely to me also in discovery rom. Its may be rom's problem.
I have switched to Phoenix5 Kernel 3 days ago, and it has not happened since.
If it doesn't happen through the week then its the kernel's problem.
I will keep you updated.

How to flash update?
boot into recovery and flash the zip no need to wipe anything. Don't flash after flashing rom...flash after first reboot.
tips:
make a vcard backup of your contacts because this contcat app on miui rom will not show your sim card contacts...so make a backup on sd and then import.....
The rom includes miui latest app store and theme store...you can make mi account to download and use themes...[SIZE]
how to enable root?
Go to security app,open permissions and grant permissions to the apps u want to....you'll have to wait 25secs

Ans: Open night mode app info....click on permissions and grant the permission
For enabling push notifications
go in the app info of that app and click on permissions, you'll see a red cross sign of the end of the permission page....click on that sign and a pop-up will appear....click accept and you will be able to receive push notifications...
gallery lags a bit....it'll be fixed soon though i have to concentrate on my studies as well.....transition between recent apps...also lags a bit...that is a kernel bug...requesting @hyperion to fix it as soon as possible

Hi,
I flashed this rom on my a116. Though, the rom looks fine, I am facing few issue.
a. No status bar on top, hence no battery indicator, signal etc.
b. Can not change wallpaper of home screen.
c. Taking a lot of time to boot.
d. Can not kill recent apps.
e. Cache cleaner shows increase in used cache most of the time whenever try to clear.
f. Many more feature enabled/disabled not working.

For signal (no service) flash update 1.1 and for ui crashes re flash the rom and flash update respectively....

Q1.How to enable ROOT ?
Ans. SuperUser app has been included for controlling the root permissions.
Q2. Mobile Data ( 3G OR 2G) not working what to do ?
Ans. Just disable your mobile data first from the settings , then restart your phone , after restarting check your apn settings and complete them , then enable mobile data and it will start working.
Q3. Xposed does not works on the ROM.
Ans. MIUI does not supports Xposed instead of that you can use WSM Tools.
By using WSM Tools you can use the Xposed modules which are supported by WSM Tools.
Q4. Unable to download apps from the Play Store and large files when using mobile data ?
Ans.First open the Downloads app present on the home screen, go into its settings.
Change the download limit to unlimited and also disable Xunlie Download Engine . Now try downloading apps from the play store it should work and also you will be able to download large files.
Q5. How to move apps to SD-Card ?
Ans. Moving apps to sd does not works on MIUI.
Q6. How to Turn ON flash light from Lock Screen ?
Ans.The lock screen on the MIUI v6 or v5 had a few extra functions than the standard unlocking and shortcuts. One of them is turning flashlight On directly from the lock screen. For that, while the screen is active but locked, you just need to long press the home button and the torch / flashlight turns on. It would not turn off until you prompt it although the screen would go blank in a few seconds.
Q7.How to Change the look of Multitasking / Recent Menu ?
Ans.By default, when you press the Recent key (the left bottom one), the recent apps show up, and it is just the App icon that is seen. But, you can make it look like the iOS multitasking screen where large thumbnails are shown, with the preview of what is going on in the app. You can change that by “pinching out on the empty area in the multitasking screen”. Pinching in / out is what changes the look, basically.
Q8.How to Enable or Change Notification Light Color ?
Ans.There is an option that allows you to change the change the notification light as well as turn it off completely. To do that you have to go to Additional Settings section, and tap on notification light. There you would find four option, first would allow you to switch ON or OFF the Pulse Notification light while other options allow you to change colors for notifications, calls, as well as messages. You can choose only 2 colors ( GREEN OR RED ), which will appear in the LED present just below the home button.
Q9.Facebook Messenger pop-up head does not appears , what to do ?
Ans.Go to Security icon on the homscreen > Permissions > Again Permissions > Open Messenger > Enable Display pop-up window.
You can follow the same method for other apps as well which have the feature of pop-up head notification.

I have not tested it much but backup will be good and one hand mode is working:victory:

As this is the latest version i think there should be some performance increment,
as MIUI ROMs are quite heavy, they need much more RAM and Storage to operate.
the only thing i want to ask is that, Is there any camera improvement in this ROM? because the V5 has good camera but when I used V6 by Junaid Butt the camera experience was very worst compared to V5.
Hope U have did your best and as this is a beta version there will be patches in future to make ROM better than best.

Performance has improved from the previous versions.
Camera remains a little downside of the rom because of the kitkat kernel.
Let me correct you my friend that Junaid is no developer , he has just posted the work Lino for MyPhone A919i.
He is just a noob , he copied some elements and lines from my original MIUI thread.
I dont understand that why is he posting the rom without permission of the developer , if the dev wants he can post it by himself.
I will report against his thread.

Working great bro but the brightness needs to be increased to highest.. Boot animation shows constant white symbol it doesn't convert to orange..and in notification drawer it shows no service in place of name of netwrk operator..rest is awesome.. Keep it up..and camera isn't much clear..:thumbup::thumbup:

Boot Animation is changed by MIUI Team , so i wont change it.
Operator name is not being displayed and in place of that no service is being shown , i will fix it up soon :angel:
Try some games on it and post a review.
Bro system ui stopped sudddenly when I enter the file manager..and remains constantly.. And goes only after reboot..
