You can not download apk directly from market to a PC.
You can find sites like getjar.com or many other that post free apk files.
Another thing you can do is download to your Android phone, extract it or
I use Astros file manager and backup the apk.
I do this to get apps for my tablet that's not avaiable from market.
Something your brother can do is use Market enabler, it trick the system into thinking
he has a US carrier and most apps will show up
hello.
he is in a country that he can not connect to the market at all. So market enabler will not be any help.
if i download them to my phone, in what directory can i find the apk ???
and is there a way to download them to me phone but not install them on my phone ??? (just to pick the apk ?)
thank you for your help.

If you want to get the apk files of you installed apps, you'll have you back them up (there are many apps which do this). You can place the apk files anywhere on your sd card (or internal storage depending on device) where you can find them.
hello
i have tested with appmonster but it seem that it stores all the versions of the apps (even last versions before updates).
what app is best for thet and that stores only the latest version of each app ?

You could try this: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.agilesoftresource&feature=search_result.
Try Astro. It's simple, backs up only what you want, and seems to be a good option for what you need. I personally use Titanium Backup, but that's more advanced and has more features than you need. Astro would be the simplest way of doing what you need.

Depending on the app, look in System/app or also Data/app to find the apk's after being installed.
Use something like Astro to backup your Applications and then send the apks.

You can try searching 'netmite get apk' and use their online jar conversor, as there are other more convenients methods, like Jbed app.
Hello, I've recently just made myself a little ebook app for the android and it is ready to be published to Google Play. However, I have a problem with the formatting. I only have a folder with all the contents of the app in it, some of the files in it include app.xml, pictures (jpg files), html files for different pages, and icons (png). Look at the screenshot below:
How do I upload these contents as an app to Google Play? Or do I have to convert all of them to a specific file? If so which application should I use? I tried Android SDK already, didn't work. Thanks all!
how to make an ebook app for android
You can upload only *.apk files at Google Play.
I mean compiled-ready apps.
That's the way you publish them...

[Q] Any similar application to "APK-Tool"/"APK-Manager" for Android ?
Well, I would like to know if there's an app for Android which have some functions similar to the ones of APKTool and/or APKMultitool
In other word, I would like to edit apks using my Android device itself
An app for Unpacking and Repacking apks.
We need specific tools to decompile an APK and such tools don't exist on Android devices.
Oh No !

So sad
I could edit them by using Root Explorer to unpack and repack BUT this way seems unfair.
Thanks for your reply

Hi. I don't know if this will work, but you can try BlackMart (just google and download) or Market Helper (google it too), that "transform" your mobile in other device. Maybe it works. I've tried a time ago on my Galaxy Y and worked fine
