Medkid's Prophet Cooking Set

Medkid's Prophet cooking set
I'd like to introduce you a semi-automatical cooking set for your prophet.
As it is said in the title, it's just a cooking set, not a full kitchen for you.
And the rest thing you have to do is replacing TOOLS, ROM and CreateRom.bat from other kitchen by these stuffs of mine.
With new OEM, SYS and new XIP, you can create your own rom. Replace modules (folder style) and files in ROM\XIP for porting a new XIP, Replace SYS for a new build, get OEM from another Prophet's kitchen. Put Prophet's OS.nb into ROM => Your full kitchen for your prophet is now ready.
For cooking: Run CreateRom.bat and wait 3 minutes, your new ROM (OS.nb) will be created in FLASH , with new XIP, SYS . The last thing you have to do is translate it from OS.nb into nk.nbf and ready for flashing to your device.
Thanks to:

bepe
Tadzio
Sonblack
Phamnhatthanh
LamSon
.....
PS: the most useful things of this cooking set is using bepe and tadzio's tools to port a new xip automatically and the new OS.nb created has the size as small as possible to save your device's storage
I'm saving money to buy a new PPC device, if you see my work help you, please donate me here: Donate via paypal !!!

How change language English to Russian in the kitchen?

How change language English to Russian in the kitchen for ROM?
It depends on what kitchen you are using.
If it is the Ervius Visual Kitchen, then download the relevant language packs for the SYS version you want to cook.
If you are yet to set up the kitchen, download a HTC Stock ROM in your language and extract it using the ervius kitchen - this will setup all the structure ready for you to start cooking.
What kitchen are you using, or looking at using?
Most SYS and XIP are released on this thread, and the first post has the language packs for the SYS including 0419 (Russian)...

I was trying to do that, with brazilian portuguese, but i was unable to find a stock rom in this language...

pvdvlies,
you can optimize your SYS/OEM (just delete unuseful Packages) or just translate some modules into files

Oops, my bad. Since there is no native kernel for Iolite the 6.1 kernel can only hold around 535 modules (this is max-ed in the kitchen). The saved ROM file I included for 23047 included 554 modules, so a bit too many.
I attached a new saved ROM holding 535 modules, so you are able to build a ROM.
Just extract and place in the Tools\RomSaved folder of the kitchen

yes it is:S
is it possible that it wont work because im on windows 7?
I don't use windows 7, so I don't know. And I don't use this kitchen(I have my own visual kitchen)
But I think, from error that you get, that the XIP cause the problem.
And if your base's rom XIP is there, maybe something is wrong with the XIP of the rom that you wanna build.
Lokatho maybe can give you more help, did you change anything in the kitchen?

nope downloaded the visual kitchen
then replaced the .erv file with the new one lokatho has placed

Hmm originele rom is 1.09.404.4 (40104) van 16 jan 2009.
Radio 0.41.30.12.
Hoe zie ik nu de wm6.1 rom 20765. Nieuwer, ouder of geen van beide?
Hoe extract ik nu een rom van de Iolite?
Uhh. Origional rom is 1.09.404.4 (40104) of 01/16/2009.
How can is tell that the wm6.1 rom 20765 is newer, older or neither one of them?
And hwo can I extract a rom of the Iolite?
why you want to extract a rom(for warranty?)
check this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=555653
it is a rebuilded dump of a dutch rom by lokatho

Working on the issues, unfortunately my gf doesn't want me to touch her phone anymore So fixing this blindly isn't easy.... Until fixed only use the 20765 part of the kitchen...

Well the base I used in the kitchen is the original Iolite NL ROM you mention, only thing I did was change the date on xip.
If you have the kitchen you will have all the packages (OEM, XIP, SYS) from the original ROM.
If you want a rebuild stock ROM see miniterrors link.

MS uses stock pagepool of 6
I usually put it to 0, that means you give wm a free hand in the size of the pagepool.
Some users claim that a higher pagepool (8, 16 or maybe 20) is best for performance.
But only way to find out is to try it yourself, but imo a pagepool of 16 is max for stability.

It tells the kitchen if the kernel is native 6.5 or not. So far I haven't seen a native kernel for Iolite, so this option should be disabled.

[31/05/2010] OsKitchen for Iolite

OsKitchen version with Iolite support.
This is OndraSter's Kitchen which after my asking supports Iolite.
Here is the kitchen with Iolite's sources(exept OEM and EXT packages, to keep filesize small). So you need only to add these packages in respective folders, and of course the SYS and XIP that you wanna build, according to instructions given on the original thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=581715
Credits goes to OndraSter & airxtreme

thx for sharing this
maybe ill try it out(im on ervius kitchen)
I am too. But this is in some cases more flexible, and ervius doesn't update his kitchen for a long time and as he said is retired. So I was thinking to move on another project, and this kitchen seems really nice and alive.
New version of Os Kitchen with Airxtreme UI ready for Iolite. You just need to put your build. All Iolite specific files included. Link soon on 1st post.
Can you give me another download address
for example rapidshare
I need another download address too thank you !
