Hello:
My friend has a problem. He has a Yoigo (Spain) SGS2 smartphone. The phone can´t be flashed with odin. When i used odin to flash it, seems to be ok but when phone reboot, returns to previous state.
I tryed to do wipe data and cache several times... nothing!
I flashed with odin a lot of roms, kernels, bootloaders, pit files... but nothing works.
I tryed the unflashable or bricked guide.
Odin works well because i have a SGS2 too and i used it several times.
If i save a file in the phone, phone delete it when reboot.
Any idea?
Hi,
any Error Message or something like that in Odin?
You did put the phone in Download Mode?
Maybe you need to unlock - but i dont think so actually..
greetz
Odin flash ok, no errors showed. Phone is in download mode when flash.

Have you seen "PASS" after flashing in Odin?
Flashing PIT file might would fix it.

Hi guys, I'm trying to flash this miui rom on my thl w7s. Successfully rooted and used CWM to flash rom.
It will start to install but mid way, phone says installation aborted and brings me to main screen of recovery mode.
I have charged my phone to above 80% and have followed the steps but still face errors. Can anyone shed some light?

What pone are you using? Also give me a link to that rom.
Also: What error is it saying?
I'm using THL w7s. The error says "installation aborted"

not sure, but you may have to turn off "signature verification" option from the recovery.

you sure this is made for your device? Because if its for another device, even if you get it to flash, your device won't boot at all to recover it.

Are you using cwm or twrp recovery? Im sure those are the only recoveries supported. If yes, have you tried updating the recovery?

I used CWM first but when it didn't work, I tried TWRP.
I downloaded the 2 from play store. How do I update recovery? I just wanna be sure if what I did was considered updating the recovery.

well, your device isn't official supported by clockworkmod or twrp developers, so your on a build someone built from source themselfs. Most likely if that person hasn't built a new recovery, you can't update.
So search for a newer cwm
Where can I switch for a newer cwm apart from play store?

if your android has root, you can use mtkdroid tools created by rua1 for auto cwm made.
you can go to link above.follow the guide.
manual option is easy too, try to read the instruction carefully.
i think that is only copy paste to make recovery.
and if recovery has made, you can flash with mobileuncle tool apk

Hey guys I have phone model name-: N9100 I don't know why is there any ROM for this phone?
Please share me a link if anyone know a ROM for this phone when I buy this phone the seller told me this is note 4 Korean.
Installation Aborted
Move ROM to your PC and extract it anywhere
Now go to Meta-INF folder and then navigate to /com/google/android directory
After reaching to above mentioned location search for updater-script and then open it with Notepad++
Now search for “assert(getprop(“ro.product.device”) == “devicename” || getprop(“ro.build.product”) == “devicename” ||” (exclude first and last quotes )
Now change device name to your device suppose if you have nexus 7 then change devicename to grouper. (Grouper is code name for Nexus 7 similarly you can find name for your device easily on internet)
That’s all but don’t forget to save file after editing. Then ZIP the file again and move it to your device using custom recovery.
When im flashing my s3 in TWRP i got error all the time with "set_metadata_recursive: somechanges failed, E:error executing updater binary in zip etc." its hypermax v6 rom
Usual causes are out of date recovery, bad download or corrupt data/system.

Hello. I have a oneplus x stuck in twrp recovery mode. Phone wont boot into fastboot mode . What I tried:
1- downloaded Full oxygenOS zip , put into sdcard and install. I got a installation successful message. Hit reboot then phone comes back to recovery.
2.- adb sideload oxygenOS zip process 100%, reboot and phone goes back to recovery.
3- downloaded the Mms tool for hard brick , PC recognizes phone under Qualcomm xxxxx , start process. Get a complete message. Reboot . Phone go back to recovery.
Any help?

Did you encrypt your device? Seems like nothing is being written to device. In twrp, wipe--> format data. See if it helps.

My other theory was , probably my volume down button is stuck . So Everytime I boot up takes me to recovery. So I remove the back glass and buttons look fine. They both make the clicking .
