The rom is public so I do not know how much roll comes

What I would have to do xiaomi instead of getting so many roms without major changes ... I should have gotten 7.0 a long time ago, that's why the terminals are paid

And never understand that crap of closed beta and the like ... however closed that this, with so many people is normal to leak, which I do not care, if you want to do something is done for everyone and then Do not do it
Xiaomi makes very good terminals, roms are another story, many, too many and most and nothing is always very late in the versions of android

I know its public, but you did it already with the previous leak, so please keep this in your mind for the next beta:
i think you dont get my point, when xiaomi does see that peoples leakes this rom (ofc it will leak, but not on xda where xiaomi could see it that easy), they won't do any of this betas anymore... and those betas are really helpful for peoples like @bgcngm to bing a better and earlier Cyanogenmod to us.
btw you just provide the zip, no more informations like how to install, even the link to the origin of the zip ot the original link to the upload...

WELL DISCLAIMER
flash miui old build before flashing the ROM,sitting with a bricked device here as i went directly from cm 14.1 to MIUI.
REPEAT DON'T FLASH IF YOU ARE ON CM OR USE FASTBOOT.
Done, more fluid, more free ram memory, just one thing, error on samsung gear app
Can I keep root if I flash this update? It took me forever to figure out how to root! Will I have to reflash supersu? Which version?

I don't know, posted it just in case
The creator said it was stable enough to use as a daily... I'm almost done creating a flashable zip based on it, but there's probably about a 90% chance of it not working... Is someone willing to test it?
I am warning that this is the first port I have done. I used CM11 11/10 Nightly as the base and the posted ROM as the Port, and followed the instructions

with minor adjustments to allow ART to run. At the very least, I could post it and someone more experienced than me could look at it and tell me what they think?

Version 2 of CoreUI (MIUI with Mods) fully supports both, T and w8.. However right now I'm waiting with the release because if Cm gets fully stable (almost done) I'll use that one as a base. Right now we are in Tw as base Rom.

That's completely wrong. IT IS MIUI. Ever heard of the patchrom-tool? Xiaomi released it to allow porting of their UI to other devices. For that, a base rom (preferably stock or AOSP) will be patched with MIUIs Framework code. It is true MIUI ^^

Hi, i read this notice
https://twitter.com/topjohnwu/status/1032673806622617600
I'm furious, i bought Honor View 10 for modding, because Honor had to give the phone to many developers for expand the modding on their devices. Then first Huawei stop the possibility to unlock bootloader and now stop the possibility to have root also?
It's incredible, Huawei/Honor should repay who bought the device before their decision to stop the modding scene.
Honor clearly didnt work closely with Huawei when it comes to that modding/rooting related stuff
after Honor dev program they locked bl's for good, and now trying to prevent ROOT by adding system app to check for Root then force remove it or stop it
hopefully we can find a work around it :\

But this is not fair, many of us bought a huawei device for modding, and now we are stucked with no options to reclaim anyting, Honor View 10 in my case has cost me around of 500€, took time for me to get this money (part time job, studing, and living alone), it's hard for me to believe that the reply of Huawei is deal with it, good luck next time loser.
This tweet was pertaining to a Chinese variant. @MishaalRahman with XDA is investigating, as there is no official word if this sort of update is coming to other regions or even the US. This may have been done by mistake as well.
There have been other Chinese variants that have received a "patch1" type update, but has been confirmed those other updates are bug fixes and are not rooted related.
I'm sure XDA will make a write up to clarify if/when there is more info

Your complaints will do absolutely nothing on XDA ... contact your local Huawei dealership or post pubically on their social media pages like Facebook or Twitter. Only if it's made public (by enough people) will there be even the slightest chance of them changing their @&%$§!* new policies.
The View 10 seemed so promising earlier this year which is why I bought it ... my first and at this rate definitely my LAST ever Huawei device

Plenty of substratum themes do that already though, no need for xposed just for that.
See you in the Openkirin Telegram group
have they started doing this yet? i usr this command to flash twrp and it says it worked it will go into twrp for like 10 sec and reboot to fastboot.... fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk TWRP.img yes thats what my twrp is named
The original person who reported on this new "patch1" update to the ramdisk is still testing to see whether it's an intentional feature to block root, or if Magisk no longer working is just a side effect to ramdisk changes. We're waiting to see the results of their testing.

Ah ok, that's cool - last I heard only BKL-09 was supported. But I can't say I've been keeping up since I have the EU version anyway and never paid much attention to which rom was working on the US version
This thread may be considered a fork of the original Snapdragon waiting room which had a lot of US variant users being mislead by the status due to the work being completed on the Chinese/HK variants of the Snapdragon S10.
Hopefully this thread clarifies any issues and lets people of this variant (including myself) clearly discuss any further progress being made.
I'll start here by mentioning that there are versions of TWRP that work on the SM-G9730 and SM-G9750 along with PHH AOSP.
In a telegram group (PHHs) people have been installing system-arm64-ab-gapps-su.img.xz located here: https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/releases/ then getting AOSP working on their phones.
Current issues appear to be:
Brightness adjustment
Proximity
Not sure how the camera works given the complexity
Bluetooth may be fixed using pix3lify magisk
Fingerprint
great thanks to you for this thread,it will be interesting to share with you all we need(link, rom twrp) on your first post.
Can you link me to the telegram group please?

TWRP forTGY
If I understand correctly, TWRP has been successfully adapted (ported?) to phones with CHC firmware which can then flash a version of an AOSP rom.
The TGY versions are a much more useable and practical version for most of the world and while I am definitely not the one that can accomplish the task, I get the feeling that it is a short leap from what has already been done to having a working TWRP on phones with stock TGY firmware.
Having this with files and instructions that could be understood and used by English speaking phone owners would make me a happy camper. I would definitely contribute to a bounty for a nice stable solution to this.
If there is any knowledgeable developer reading this that can clarify whether my thinking on this is correct or effed up, please enlighten those of us interested in TWRP for these platforms.
If there is a developer reading this that can actually solve the problem, your solution would be welcomed by many.
I again have problems with reboots.
It's like it's running for 1-2 weeks and then starts to make problems again.
Now I've updated to ASF1 and the problems persist.
I've disabled AOD since long time ago.
And I still have the same 3 Magsik Modules installed which often ran fine for 1-2 weeks like mentioned.
Anyone has another idea?
I think about just letting root go and going on rootless.

Do u have for G9700?
so.. will pretty much any GSI Rom that's Pie (and maybe Q) work if we flash through TWRP, or is there a select few? And is there any required files that need to be flashed before I flash a gsi rom?
