I'm a really overenthusiastic phone customization maniac.
So, recently I have flashed a new ROM for my phone "Alliance ROM V9" for my Samsung Galaxy S5.
It all went well and works perfectly fine except for one thing.
It doesn't let me make or receive phone calls or SMS. Then i realized that it does not recognize my SIM Card.
If someone can help me out I would really appreciate it!

You have to report this to the rom developer of the rom you're currently using, and tell the developer about the thing you experiencing. No one going to fix this except the developer of the rom.

Hi.
I just went to my carrier for a Mobile-ID. It is a pretty common thing in Estonia so i thought why not.
I have a GT-i9100 with CM 10.1 Nightly and sim toolkit does not work. I see the STK app installed on my phone and i also tried my sim with another phone. It worked there.
So my question is what could i check and how could i get my ID working.
SIM Toolkit works only with Sammy ROMs at the moment.
I also hope that any day it works on 4.2 ROMs.
Hi! So I've been having a bit of trouble with my Note II. I had a few custom roms on it before, and I unlocked the bootloader, but when I put the device back to stock ROM via Odin, a plus sign (+) now appears in front of any phone number with incoming calls, and it prevents me from being able to call a person back through the recent call log, as it will attempt to use Assisted Dialing (the number will appear like this: +9545555555). Has anyone else had this problem, or can someone tell me how to fix this? Even when I switch back to custom ROMs the problem still persists now. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Also, I am using the phone with a GSM carrier if that's important information.

This is a problem because you are not using the proper handset. the + stands for the international. code used to call other countries. TO fix this you either need to buy a note 2 made for your carrier ( ie, verizon) or find a custom rom ported from your carrier.

Hello everyone,
I am running into an issue where if I install a custom rom on my phone, I get no sound whatsoever. No sound from the speaker nor the earpiece. Also, related to having no sound, any app or anything I do relating to sound won't run or work on the phone strangely. (like Youtube for example, won't run)
Everything else works fine.
I tried multiple roms, and all of them ran into the same issue. When I reverted back to the stock rom or the backup I made fortunately, I get sound but I am lost as to why I get no sound from my S3 device with a custom rom. ALSO, when I do revert back to my old stock rom, I get a lot of gapp crashing for unknown reasons. So basically the phone is a DUD .
My Samsung Galaxy S3 device is model: SCH-R530U for US cellular. I hope I can find someone here who knows how to fix this issue =\.
Could it be that the Roms I installed don't have the sound drivers packaged? I made sure the Roms were compatible and all but I am not so sure since I guess I'm not really that experienced in Android.
Someone please help! I have had this issue for months with no solution or no way to fully revert back to a fresh stock rom with apps not crashing on me.

I may be a couple years late but this means the ROM you flashed is not actually for d2usc
I've tried all the ported roms for the one max and they all are making my phone lag a lot and take all the memory for running, so I just wanna return to the stock
I installed a stock rom and it worked perfectly well except that it was made for the Chinese dual sim variant and so the sim card wasn't recognized..
So now I'm stuck with a phone with no sim card, if anyone here have the stock rom (rooted or not) please upload it here or pm it to me

There are a variety of these in the Development forum here. I could send you links, but you haven't said whether your Sprint, Verizon or other, so take a look there. It's only 4 pages. You should be able to find something. I'm assuming, of course, that you're bootloader unlocked and S-OFF.

Guys, I need a lot of help of you! I have a LG LS990 Sprint but I live in Brazil, I took the authorized here and they were able to unlock for me to make and receive calls and sms, but I can not at all call my mobile data and not send sms.
Another thing, somehow my IMEI SV this 00

Prime GSM V 8.0

So after much searching I found a custom rom that fucionou in Brazil. Prime GSM V was 8.0. Worked GSM! There was only one operator in Brazil that does not work at all, Nextel (MNC MCC724 39), this one is roaming and not do anything, nor connections or mobile data. All other work all services.
I installed the rom stock ZV4 then updated to ZV8 and along with root and installed TWRP V 8.0. The rom so far it has worked perfectly. My only complaint is that every time we turn off and turn on the device, it loses one time had as if you were updating Android. Apart from that all ok.

i still dont get data connection
hi i got this g3 which was already unlocked on 4.2.2 i updated it to 5.01 and it got locked again have tried all custom roms still my data wont turn on tried all sim card too its unlocked but no data connection need help guys
I can't lower the screen resolution. The video card is struggling. I dropped it in other roms. Mobile data doesn't work for me either.
