My optimus just got bricked very badly.
I flashed v10a through kdz to downgrade to old baseband.it all went well. Then i restarted the phone and it was stuck at bootloop. So i pulled out the battery and again it was stuck at bootloop. I thought i did something wrong while flashing . So i tried to reflash v10a through kdz. But then a dialog box came with an error. Then i tried to to flash v20b but the same error came again. My phone was still in emergency mode.
Nothing was working so i pulled out the battery and now its not responding at all.
Not switching on, my pc doesn't detect it , it doesn't charge when i connect it to a charger.
Please help me as you are my last hope.

Try reinstalling the LG drivers and try KDZ again. If success, and if it keeps loading the "android" animation, hard reset.
If all fails, LG is your only hope I guess
Its not meant sad, but i wonder why users are hopping every day/week from one rom to another only to try every unstable rom.
And no: i dont say it because i'm a developer - its pure logic i think.

Some developers just releases stuff fast...like fserve..no offence though.
here is what you should do:
1. download again the kdz file from the net (possibly you have a broken file)
2. close all LG icons from taskbar (lg updater, lg **** near of the clock) !!!
3. turn off firewall
4. plugin the phone via usb
5. start kdz
6. flash again kdz file
7. it should complete the update normally without problems

one time i had problems, i forgot to close LG updater or whatever it called, but after i closed it worked fine
i have flashed 2 times with kdz and both time i never went after lg logo i had to hard reset it and it did work after that, u shouldnt have flashed it again , if u had hard reset it would have worked.

So, I've had my LG G2x for about a year now. About 2 days ago it stopped working. So I tried rebooting it manually (Power and Vol.-). It worked! Later that night the phone stopped working again. I have tried rebooting it many times and have given up on that. So I tried One-Click Recovery Flasher to try and reboot it. I have tried all three flashes ( 4.0.1.5., 5.0.2.0. and the Stock) and then I try rebooting in the flashes and the LG logo pops up and then the screen turns black. And it's a loop so it just pops up and goes black again. Is this fixable? If I flash it with Stock and go to T Mobile can they fix it? SOMEBODY HELP!!!
I am having the same problem... idk what to do

Dear friends
My phone was delivered with some SuperSU, and some days ago when it asked to be updated, I accepted that option and after the phone/SIM couldn't connect to the network so I could only make emergency calls.
After reading several articles on this site, I've tried to flash through Odin 3 several times, but every time when the phone reboots, it first erases something with Android logo and after that is stuck at Samsung logo picture and nothing happens. As mentioned, I have tried to do this activity several times but nothing helps. What can be done now to proceed?
Model is SM-G925F and I downloaded the firmware from Sammobile (SM-G925F/PAK/), and its following version which I have been trying with:
5.1.1: G925FXXU3COJ1_G925FOJP3COJ1_G925FXXU3COI9_HOME.tar-md5
Thanks.

What android version was the phone on before you flashed the firmware? 5.1.1 or 6.0.1?
How long did it stay on the samsung logo? Was the led lit up blue?
Power off phone.
Once off hold vol up + power + home together.
Keep holding them buttons and phone will boot into recovery.
Once in recovery wipe cache partition and wipe data/factory reset.
Try that first it should work.
Keep me updated
Thanks bro, tried this and it didn't help.
However, I discovered following error message:
dm-verity verification failed...
Need to check DRK first...
I think it was 5.1.1. before flashing. And the Samsung logo is there for hours...haven't tried days though.

Update it using Samsung Smart Switch.
Update to mm ROM
What actually worked in the end was "SpaceX-Kernel_MM_RC2.1_G925F.tar.md5". Thanks to all suggestions.
However, I am back to the original problem now. The phone cannot use any service provider, tried with both foreign and local Norwegian sim. It simply says that only emergency calls possible. This was the initial problem which I tried to solve by flashing ROM.
Any suggestions regarding how to deal with this?

Hello all,
Hope all is well with everyone.
My phone decided to freeze on me and gave it a force reboot since then it's stuck on the boot logo. I can't turn it off unless the battery is drained and I can't turn it on (via power button), unless booting in Download Mode.
Now, download mode is the mode my phone can boot in and I know that I have to re-flash the stock-rom on my phone in order for it to work.
I gave that a try but a message on my phone pops up after having initiated the flash in Odin saying: ''SW REV, CHECK FAIL, DEVICE 3, BINARY 2'' and if I try a different PDA it reads: SECURITY CHECK: BOOTLOADER
Since this plan didn't work, I tried flashing a TWRP recovery on my phone. But after having tried that a message on my phone pops up proudly saying: ''Blocked by FRP Lock'' - which I found out I can only disable once I have full access to the settings on my phone - which requires a successful boot.
It's quite frustrating because I never had a problem with my phone and this issue occurred right after I updated my phone with the latest security update that Samsung pushed to my device.
Can somebody help me please?
Thanks in advance.

Thank you. However I already tried that one. After multiple attempts, the phone remains stuck on the ''Galaxy S6 Edge+'' screen and won't continue.
I already had the feeling that this may be a hardware malfunction.
I bricked my phone and tried recovering it via Smart Switch - as a last resort - SW successfully installed the stock firmware on my phone but whilst rebooting, it remains stuck on the ''Galaxy S6 Edge+'' screen.
I think my phone is officially dead and that after the new update? Crazy if you think about it.

Whilst the phone was bricked, the logo was not visible but a turquoise screen with an exclamation logo informing me the instructions to recover the phone via Smart Switch.

Still won't work - It remains stuck on the Galaxy s6 edge + logo after flashing.
Download mode is the only feature that I'm able to access - Recovery mode or booting up the OS? Not a chance.
Rooting and/ or flashing new recovery gets blocked by FRP Lock and Bootloader.
I have seriously no idea what to do now.

You have G928F = that means your bootloader is unlocked by default.
Search on here there are ways to remove the frp lock easily.
Have you tried any other firmware?

I know that, I've noted that down in my first post on this thread. The thing is however is that I DON'T have access to my OS - which ultimately makes me unable to disable FRP lock.
By trying another firmware I get the Sw rev, check fail, device 3, binary 2
- Trying the Europe firmware - whether it is BTU (UK) or PHN (Netherlands) - the flashing WORKS but it won't boot up past the Logo screen - it remains stuck.
The only feature if have access to and works perfectly is the download mode.

Sw rev, check fail, device 3, binary 2. This isnt really an error message and shouldnt affect anything. When you flash the BTU or PHN firmware and it gets stuck on logo screen... how long are you leaving it like that? I ask because the first boot can take a while.
You can always try the DDE firmware from sam mobile. You may also neet a pit file with it too.

Is it stuck on the "powered by android screen" or the next screen the "samsung" logo?
Thats strange because if all else fails smart switch would normally fix it.
I have been talking to 2 people over the past week who have the same issue but on just s6 edge not the plus.

It's stuck on the ''Powered by Android'' logo.
This same issue reminded me of my Galaxy s2 back in the day - same with my current Edge+ - it stuttered, froze, rebooted itself a couple of times and it completely died. Couldn't do anything anymore.
These same symptoms happened with my Edge+ recently, but I can access download mode and it restarts but remains stuck on the logo screen.

I have the G928F and I also had the "custom binary blocked by frp lock" in red, which didn't allow me to boot. To fix this, I had flashed the newest stock Rom I could, and this had fixed my issue. But just yesterday I decided to unroot via the SU app, and it had asked me to restore stock boot image and recovery image. I did this but it had left me in a boot loop. I could enter recovery mode and download mode too. So I tried a factory reset. No help. Now instead of looping it would take me straight to recovery. Like every person at this point would've done, I tried to flash stock Rom, but I keep getting the "sw rev check fail" error. So I 're rooted the phone via odin and voila! I was back up and running and my phone works perfectly fine. You could try this, I know I'm a year late but oh well. Hope this helps!

Hi,
Just wondered how you manage to 're root the phone if FRP lock is on?
When I've tried, the FRP has blocked the custom rom. I've tried downgrading and current stock versions of android but not had any luck. I'm able to flash everything except the BL, no matter what version.
I've been trying all kinds of ideas on here for days now so any suggestions would be welcome.

Ahh if you're flashing current that's why. You need to flash the newest version of Android there is. The latest for the G928F was in February. Flash that and see if you have any errors.

So for shorten the case, I did try to flash MiUI 11 though Fastboot on Mi A3, but everytime I tried to flash, it all gave me the line above. I did attempted to change slot, but f*** off. Update : I did wait for a few minutes and it passed that line, but the result is still a fail. What did I do wrong?

Screw that rom. It worked for me. I flashed it at night, then I felt asleep. When I woke up, it showed the setup screen
You need to wait about 30 minutes minimum, no less. I cant expect it could take that long, cuz it will need to flash it through 2 slots, which means double the time. Screw all lines in it, leave it there
