Hi xda developer team. I recently rooted my yu yureka note running on O.S:5.1. While installing custom recovery i installed wrong twrp custom recovery. Now i could not get into recovery mode on my phone. Later i found that i could not get my custom recovery for my device. Please guide me.
Can you boot into android,or boot loader and adb flash your phone from the pc while in bootloader?
if in android pull up terminal and flash porper recovery
Actually i am a beginner and i am not able to find my phone's(yu 6000) resource. Please guide me or provide me with the link which can give detailed info. to get enlightened. I found 1 youtube video regarding "root your yu yureka note". My doubts are:
1- Can i reinstall another custom recovery without uninstalling previous one(wrong custom recovery). Will that work?
2- I have not installed custom rom. Do i need it for flash recovery through pc if i get proper guide for recovering.
3- No custom recovery is available for my phone. Can you provide me?

So if you find custom recovery plz provide us.
And if flash other recovery,your phone won't boot into stoke recovery and also into custom recovery.
So you need to flash stoke recovery again.
Still no custom recovery for this phone ???. Any one can port from other device which has exact same specs like Coolpad Note 3? Twrp official website also has nothing. I need custom recovery to install dolby and v4a mod because the sound output of this device is crappy as hell

This phone is the Italian NGM ORION. Can this Android-gingerbread-based phone be updated to a newer firmware version?

TYVM! This was something I was looking for to help a friend. His phone got this weird virus. Downloading things in the background - turning on his data when he turned it off. Hopefully this will help to wipe fully and flash it clean.

It's now the 18th of the 8th. Gonna attempt it today at some point and post back the results. If it works, I'm going to upload it to somewhere else as well and provide links.
OK. So the reason for the double posting is to also bring up the thread. Basically the files I got here didn't work. I'm going to give a quick overview of what I did and provide more details later on. Along with a little bit of my own theories.
I think the D610a may have different versions. The ROM in the earlier post may work for some, but it didn't work for me at all. I ended up doing some searches and found another ROM elsewhere which worked for me. There were also some issues with the version of SP Flash Tool and I had to use the version provided from another forum (GSM Arena I think) which lead to this download.

That's what worked for me. It comes with SP Flash Tool version 5.1436.0 - the required scatter file and other files. Once loaded everything worked. The only thing is it left me with invalid IMEI. This was fixed by following instructions here.

Which involved sending commands to the phone and rebooting. "AT +EGMR=1,7,”new-imei”” for SIM1 and "AT +EGMR=1,10,”new-imei”” for SIM2 I think it was.
As for the whole button presses when flashing - that didn't work in my case. Once I connected the phone it automatically started the download.
There was also a matter of the correct drivers.

The link above has a lot of helpful stuff including the drivers. You need the MTK VCOM driver.
After that it worked fine.

it's in nothing but boot loop, where it just keeps restarting over and over and nothing else but if I connect it to computer I can put it into service mode well the screen stays black on phone but at this point only option left is to flash STOCK ROM with SP Flash Tool Software i believe but i'm not very familiar, no others options left but that far as i know?.. oh yeah almost forgot, my phone info is: Doogee Mix 2 the 6gbram+64gbrom Ceramics Black Variant..

this is GREAT mark332 that now we have finally root,
but all we need now is TWRP or maybe even CWM or some
similar recovery with CWM Mixed ..hehe.. anyone remember the old missed Philz Touch recovery?? man that was awesome wish someone
could at least show me how to make or port them to this model

It's an ADB problem ... download the lastest ADB drivers and latest Mediatek USB drivers
Try fastboot devices ... If you don't see your phone you have to work with drivers

Hello all. I tried with no luck to root my Vernee V2 Pro tonight. I was able to flash and boot into TWRP but afterward the unit would not boot into the normal ROM. I simply received the boot screen with the progress bar endlessly ticking. After some research I found something suggesting to wipe the caches through TWRP and this allowed me to boot into normal mode. The recovery reverted to stock after this, however. I tried again with the same result.
Can anyone with experience with this unit provide me with any direction? Why would the device fail to load after flashing TWRP if no new ROM was loaded? Should clearing the cache with TWRP also remove TWRP? Furthermore, how can I create and/or obtain a correct scatter file? This unit is running a Mediatek 6763V and the 67XX chipsets are not supported by the MTK Droid Tools utility.
I'm not even trying to load a custom ROM. I simply want to root so I can take advantage of some XPosed modules - specifically to be able to reassign the function of this stupid dedicated screenshot key.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tryed it again today .... Flashing TWRP with adb is not a problem.
But i run into the same problems like kdake. TWRP wont stay permanent, and also rooting isnt possible cause of some errors. I gonne write them down later.
Any Ideashow to get it done? Seems like all th guides in the web are theoretical or are based on an older firmware?
