Dear friends,
I am very interested of buying the pro prime version, cause I am sick of these Samsung crap. But before that I need to know something very clear? Is there a way to make good quality call records doesn't matter if it's on MIUI or AOSP roms?
Best regards,

Yes, miui even has auto call recording.
Yes I love the MIUI build in to dialer call recorder, but there is some echo issues with it.

i have DSP Manager bundled with Omega Black/Blue ICS...
Beats audio is only well integrated with HTC phones.
Even in the resurrection rom it doesnt really enhance quality.
Its just placebo effect. The max that you can do is get dsp manager thats all!

That's not true!
The Galaxy S2 has, in fact, terrible audio quality. This is due to poor quality hardware components (namely the Yamaha DAC).
There are two things you can do.
You can follow the advice of Kaffee4Eck and use voodoo louder, what won't help THAT much. Or you can get an external DAC (like the FiiO E7). This will give you superb sound quality, that no iPhone or HTC will get close to. However, you'll have to stick with CyanogenMod for it to work, it's less portable, because you'll have an additional device in your pocket and I'm not sure if you'll be pleased with it. I'm not sure because:
a) you've got beats and
b) you say that the problem is that they aren't "booming" like on you HTC.
I don't know you, so I can't tell, but too me it looks like you don't like sound quality, but pure bass. I cannot tell if the FiiO is good for that kind of job.
Thanks for advice Sniper i dont fancy paying £60 for additional device was hoping that there would have been a software mod worth trying

As mentioned earlier, voodoo louder. You just need the app on a compatible kernel.
The most importent thing - speakers. I love the original Samsung headphones!

Just gotta ask:
Have you ever used "real" headphones?
My phone good audio quality stock rom and any other rom .
Samsung stock phones .
Sound level on stock over 50% is to high .
Slight addition to a better quality is Volume Plus free old version app and a pair of
ViSang R02 in ear buds .

Try them until you find one that works and meets your audio needs

MIUI (the ones featuring v4 and ICS) roms have build-in call recording.
There's a good reason why call recording is not included in Stock or most responsibly built ROMs - it is illegal in most territories.
For the majority of normal people, there is something quite sinister about this activity.
I hope that anyone using this can live with dubious morals and ethics.
I believe resurrection v1.1 had the feature. Prob the most stable ics rom I've used

Im using ressurection 9.6 and has call recording or you can try omega 11.1 after install you can download the zip file for call recording from the omega files app

I am using Spike pure ICS SE v2.0, it has call recording. But there's a bug on it with the stock sms app, it sends all texts twice. Go sms works fine with it.

Try WanamLite ICS DXLP9. The best.
I ran the phone mod in Kitchenpro to remove the echo and that gave me a recorder.
But, I use Total Recall for any unknown numbers (some idiot called in a threat which I reported. Now I have this app to provide proof what was said).
They do serve a purpose.
Note the police know I installed this app and are ok with it.

Introduction:
Hi everyone! I'm currently running Chip v1.5 with Entropy's kernel on my US YP-G70. It's great, but I'm wondering if there is a faster ROM to use (eg: less CPU use and less resource-consuming background processes). JoyOS seems great but I'm wary of the slow wireless connecting and iOS theme.
What I'm Looking for (MUST):
- fully working camera (taking photos and videos, and not just on fastburst)
- working wi-fi and bluetooth
- GPS compatibility with Gapps (apparently some ROMS - forgot which specifically - have GPS issues)
- Built-in non-stock launcher (as in the stock launcher is removed and some other launcher is installed as the only and default launcher)
- light (low RAM usage, like LewaOS claims 200 MB+ free)
- fast
It Would Be Nice to Have...
- customizable lockscreen built-in (or an option to disable the lockscreen so I can use WidgetLockscreen without excess processes)
- overclocking (don't worry - I won't go crazy and set it above 1.2-ish)
- Samsung bloatware removed
Closing Statement:
Please comment below to suggest me some ROMs that satisfy the above conditions. With the requirement of a working camera and bluetooth, I'm probably looking for a Stock/GB-based ROM. On a last note, I know you devs out there put a lot of work into your ROMs, so I hope I'm not coming off as unappreciative.

Actually, I would love to use CM 10.1 with Sultan kernel (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2252851) to get that wonderful 441MB RAM but people keep saying that neither bluetooth nor the camera works. Perhaps the tweaks you mentioned deal with those? Btw thanks, TheKryptonite, for helping me out again.

Bluetooth works and both cameras work (albeit you can only take pictures with the rear camera using FastBurst). There is also a video fix zip file floating around that will give you video recording functionality.
I wouldn't really call it working when you can take 800x480 "pictures" but always something. 3mpx quality was awfuk too. I have to try that fastburst

It still works, but the pictures with the rear cam just won't be as good quality. Some other devs and I are working on it though

Because capturing pictures doesn't work, only preview does. So they take screenshots using fast burst. But image previews are bad quality. So they're trying to fix the camera

as far the the best performing rom u really should stick with stock based roms. that just my advice if you were to update u must realize that you must sacafice a few features but your than also get a ton of new minor ones back i guess it just depends on your own preference.
I'm not looking for jb roms in particular, so gb-in fact, any-roms are fine with me, given they satisfy the criteria, of course

WORK WORK
I just finished installing your mod on my Xperia SP (with a mod ROM) a minute ago and basically it's working. The audio quality was fairly good. Much loud and clear, in my opinion it's better than the original XP sound quality.
Congratulation on your work. I hope in the future you can improve the clarity of the internal & eksternal speaker output.
Thank You
Can you provide an uninstall zip, you know, just in case?
Will it work on CM10.1?
Great mod , the audio is loud enough but a bit distorted at higher volume .. This is just a beta release so i guess more improvements will be made.
Thanks a lot for your effort ... keep it up ! :victory:
Edit: Do not flash this as it breaks camera. I get camera not available error.
My device is Stock, rooted, no other mod.
I had to flash system from the stock ftf to get camera working.
@op please look into this, otherwise this is a good mod as I said earlier

Reflash whatever rom you are using
Sent from my C5303 using xda app-developers app
lol, thats too much, just flash /system. Why still no uninstall? Kinda stupid to have to reflash /--root phone because headphones and camera not working. Or is it just me? The OP should have anticipated that it wouldnt work on all roms but still no response from him..?
Also Viper4android force close so not 100% compatible..? just sayin
This would become an ultimate mod if the dev fixes the bugs and works on improving it.
Just my 2 cents.

I've been using acr call recorder by NLL on my s2 for ages but since upgrading the ROM to aosp neatrom by sale 4.4.2 v5.6 it doesn't work anymore and just says it couldn't record the call. Anyone know a fix or another recorder that should work (I would rather a fix than to buy another).
Thanks
