Hello everybody
I hope I'm in the right section, if not, please redirect me. Now, on to my issue.
I'm using the Babel Fonts font manager app on my phone, and there's this font called Appally (iekie Appally) that I am currently using on the phone. I like it a lot. The thing is, I would like to save it and be able to use it on a Windows OS, but I can't seem to find it on the internet (googled it).
So, I'm wondering if there's a way to extract the font from the aforementioned app, seen as I'm unable to locate it on the web.

Hi,
I’m new to the SGS3, but not so new to android, but still have problem with fonts. When I got SGS2 I got Segoe WP font (from Windows Phone), which fits perfectly for me, but when I want to download it now for SGS3 I can’t find installable .apk file – even here I found many threats with links, but all of them are zipped folders. How to install it, so I can choose font from settings/screen/font? I don’t have root and didn’t had back with SGS2, so there is way to install it easily. Can someone help me with it? What am I doing wrong?
Regards, Jacek

Im trying to find the font Simple Text uses and is listed as Default 04. I have Searched my phone for all .ttf files and even emailed the developer (no response)
Does anybody know where this font is on the phone or what its name is? Or just where I can download it?
Thank you in advance!

Anybody know a program that could locate it for me?
I use Go SMS pro and when it does a search for font packs, it can find it. So I know its there somewhere. Ive done every type of search i could think of using Root explorer. Searched for ".ttf" ".otf" "Simple text" "default" "Default04" none of which turn up the font.
I'm currently using a wallpaper on my phone that was originally from a picture file that I manually copied onto the SD card and placed in a folder I specifically created for such background wallpapers. I don't want to lose the wallpaper, but as far as I can tell that file is no longer in the backgrounds folder, so I'm guessing that if I change the background or theme on my phone, it will disappear. Obviously, the file is somewhere on the phone since the background remains in use, but I can't find it.
So...can someone tell me how to determine the location of the file currently being used as the background wallpaper?
Thanks!
PS - I'm running CM10.1.3.

That app definitely brought up more graphic files than my previous ones, but I still wasn't able to find it. The good news is that I finally managed to locate the same background elsewhere on the Internet and re-downloaded it, so all is well. I'll keep playing with this app, though. Looks like it might come in handy. Thanks for your help!
As you may know, you can install a third party font via LG smart world. But the fonts on there are too cutesy and not what I like.
I found an apk (no root required) that, once installed, adds a font you can select as system font in Settings>Display>Font
https://wsdeveloper.net/index.php/portfolio-item/sjsecret/
Tested working on LG V40 running pie.
I tried to disassemble the apk with apkstudio and rebuild it with my own font replacing the default font.ttf in the assets folder. It installs but no font shows up. If someone who knows their way around this stuff can figure out how to get it to work, I'd greatly appreciate their help.
(Note: I'm just trying to do this for my own use, I'm not trying to steal this person's work and/or distribute it as my own.)
Have you found a way?

There's a proper method now. Here's the guide:

There's also a Telegram group called "LG UI Fonts" with a bunch of pre-made font APK's using this.
