After replacing the battery in an Xiaomi Redmi 1s with a Nohon one, the phone is draining in standby around 1% per hour with airplane mode. With original battery its 1% every 2.5-3 hours on same settings. According to battery stats its caused by 'Android' keeping the phone awake.
When I put back in the original battery, it stops. Android % drops and standby drain reduces. Any ideas why this would happen? Doesn't make sense to me.

last 3 nights I noticed huge battery drain, about 1% per hour, anybody knows where is the problem?
my tab runs stock ICS rom and stock kernel
thanks for help
after some diagnostics I found that GoogleServicesFramework is battery drainer (not sure, it has most wakelocks in betterbatterystats - about 50 in 5 hours and its awake time is about 1:30)
Try the OsiMood ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1677281. I previously was very disappointed in battery life, but after switching to OsiMood battery life is much much better - especially in sleep mode. Overnight unplugged it drops only 1-2%.
I downloaded autostarts and disabled startup of GSF on every event and left only Application Installed event (if disabled, market wont download any app)...seems that battery life is back to normal...99% at the morning (no keep awake time in battery stats) so it is fixed without changing rom , I did this procedure also on my phone and its battery drain during night is greatly reduced
I've stock jb (rooted) firmware on my Xperia P, the problem I am facing is the battery drains very quickly after it goes below 50%. If fully charged, it almost takes 6 hours to drain down to 50% with my normal usage, but after draining to 50%, only a five minute phone call sucks all of its juice and I have it below 10%. I tried greenify too but no helo, what is this problem? any help?
Thank you
Looks like there is a problem with your battery stats....
Reset your battery stats by fully charging it and then discharge it to 0% and let it automatically shut down... Then again charge it to 100% and then discharge it to 0%... Repeat this for 2 times and your battery should behave normal...
Whenever I change the original battery of my Redmi 1s with a Nohon replacement one, with same settings the standby drain goes from 1% every 3hr to 1.5% every 1 hour, thats over 4 times worse standby performance. Looking at battery stats when the Nohon battery is in, the phone is kept awake alot by Android (around 1hr for every 4hr standby). However the battery performs better in actual usage, if I play a game for 30minutes the Nohon loses a bit less percentage. I can replicate the problem over and over again whenever I change the battery back to 3 year old original, stanby drain stops and awake time by Android stops rising.
Its supposed to be one of the best brands for replacement batteries so why is it causing this standby drain issue, is this normal when you change a battery on any android phone and do most people just not notice it?
bump
bump, is it worth buying another replacement battery or is this something that normally happens with replacement batteries?
Hi guys on standby time of 15 hours untouched my Mate 20 Pro is loosing 8% battery. Coming from my previous phone Pixel 2 XL which in the same time frame would loose 5% at most. Considering the Mate 20 Pro has a much bigger battery this equates to a higher battery drain as opposed to the Pixel 2 XL. How can I fix this drain and find the cause. The drain should be no greater than 5% in 15 hours of standby
Hi
battery life heavily depends on the applications installed and used. What I do in those cases is:
a) install a battery monitoring app (e.g. BBS )
b) once the offending package has been identified, it can be deactivated
c) in case its wakelocks you could also go and disable the offending ones
HTH, cheers,
Axel
I have the same issue; it seems my mate20pro is has the same baterry life as my s8plus. Huawei told me to fully charge and leave on airplane mode for 12 hours; it the charge looses more than 5% then its a fault.

In airplane mode enabled you won't lose more than 5% as nothing will work on the phone with no live connection
Hello all,
I recently got a battery replaced for my poco F1 .
The battery is currently giving me almost 5 hours of screen on time which feels less.
I discharged the phone till it switched off and charged it back to 100% to have it calibrated. Although, after I kept it on standby overnight for almost 5-6 hours, I observed the battery drained to 91% without any significant activity.
I performed some analysis by visiting the battery and performance area but found mismatch in the power consumption here and what the indicator shows.
In the attached image , my battery is down to 1% but the power consumption shows almost 2007 mah consumption i.e., 51%.
Can anyone help in letting know if it's a problem with software or the battery is weak? Because my phone switched just mins after that.
For the latter case, even if it is then shouldn't the consumption show nearly 99% consumption of the battery has less juice?
Is there any way to know if really the battery is weak or a fake?
