any one tried any thing that shows battery lasting really good amount of time?
I'm using xPower v5 and I haven't done any hard research into it but it does seem to give me better battery life than the latest stock firmware.

Which GB ROM has the best battery life?
For me chingys GB isn't working for me. Battery is not good. I've Bennett giving it a try but I can't get good battery life :/ I have an extended battery. In one hour I lost 10% with no data on no sync pretty much just have the bars going didn't touch it and I loose 10% in one hour.
I love this rom. Battery life is not awesome. (Sorry if not enough details )
Which GB ROM has the best battery life?
Everyone experiences different results with different roms. For example, I'm running BAMf Remix 2.0-6, I also have the extended battery, and I just got about 35 hours out of my phone with imo 3.0.1 lean kernel, 245/1228.
Im currently looking for the best combination of Sense ROM, kernel, and/or scripts/apps/mods for battery life. Ive used stock ROM, viperROM, Infected, and Android Revolution HD. Ive only ever used the stock kernel or whatever was included with the ROM.
All results have been the same, with what id consider moderate usage im finding battery life to be ok at best. Getting about 14-18 hours battery life.
Ive seen some screenshots of people getting 24+ hours with similar or more usage.
Any help or recommendations would be great. Thanks
Cleanrom has been working well and has good battery life. Yesterday I got almost more than a days worth of battery but that was in minimal use.
Im looking to flash a new rom and im wondering which rom as the best battery life. i currently have cm7 but i get horrible battery life.
every phone is different, some say CM7 gives better battery life, but my experience shows that the stock based ROMs last longer. So basically you have to try to figure it out.
I have found using Faux's latest kernel (23), undervolting and setting the governor to powersave, I have been getting good battery life with CM7.
I am currently using Ligux and am happy with my battery life (~12hrs).
Neutrino EE has given me the best battery life so far. Make sure to calibrate your battery after flashing.
So I've been trying various combinations and I have not gotten any "good" battery life out of any? Any suggestions?
ICS roms conserve battery in my opinion. (They all usually come with a kernel that is required)
^ agreed i seemed to get pretty good battery life from clean rom and there seems to be only the stock kernel for that and an OC one
Which of the ROMs available in the development area will provide me with the greatest battery life? (without loss of important features or anything)

I personally prefer Nottachtrix, it's fast as hell and awsome battery life

You could take a look at the Neutrino ROM. It is missing features, though there are plenty of add-ons that you could easily download to suit your needs. Other than that it's extremely compact and snappy, and (so I've heard) the black and white theme actually helps out battery life tremendously.

This is for my girlfriend's phone. I can't test these out realtime, but I put the light Neutrino on it and it didn't last a whole day. Got Aqua on there and the battery life on there doesn't seem to be exquisite either.
Gonna try out Nottachtrix when I get the chance.
ROMS generally take a few days to show their full battery potential. In other words, when you install a new ROM you should charge it to 100% (before installing), delete the battery stats, and discharge all the way through until it turns off. Charge it all the way to 100% and discharge to 0% for a few cycles and you'll begin to see more accurate battery performance. Installing a ROM for one day and then installing another the next isn't going to tell you anything about true battery performance. It needs a little bit of time, just like it took a few cycles when she first got her phone for the battery to last its full amount.
Neutrino and CM7 should generally be lasting a whole day, if not 2 days. I am on a CM9 based ROM and even my battery lasts from 6 in the morning to 12 at night. As I've stated, it takes a bit of time for the battery to shine.
I get pretty decent battery life out of The Darkside Prefinal. From 6am-10pm with about an hour or so charging inbetween I usually have about 40% or so left. Neutrino ROM has been pretty good to me too. About 35%-30% left in the same time frame mentioned earlier
