So i got into recovery and installed superSU.zip but when i reboot it just boots forever so i went back into recovery and uninstalled superSU with a script.. so my opx is still unrooted; should i be using a different version of superSU or what? the one i flashed in the recovery was 2.46 but it didn't work so i uninstalled it and flashed 2.76 and it gave the same problem

You have to use a special SuperSu version with this config.

Can I flash TWRP using terminal emulator?
I was currently on MonXdified rom, just downloaded the newest version of this rom and when I tried to go to recovery I was not able to access it.. Weird because I was able to install it using TWRP. I was using Xposed and I don't know if it messed up something or what not. I'm in the office right now and I just can't wait to get home and do this on my computer but is there an option to get recovery twrp or cwm using terminal emulator?
I found similar threads but those are not Xperia Models so I was just wondering if its possible.
TIA
yes you can do it using terminal emulator
How
I'm a bit interested.how to flash twrp.IMG with terminal emulator?

To succesfully install the newest Versions of SuperSU you have to install it in systemless mode. If you flash the ZIP it will install it in /system mode, so you have to force the systemless install.
Before you flash the newest Beta SuperSU.zip go to the TWRP terminal and write:
echo SYSTEMLESS=true>>/data/.supersu
Then flash the ZIP.
SuperSU will be installed in systemless mode and your Phone will boot up fine.
I'm getting stucked in boot logo +1... after installing some apps, with root permissions, like Viper4android, DPI changer, SElinux permissive... don't know what happend. what should i do?
I try this, but still stuck at boot logo...
This method doesn't resolve a boot loop when it is caused by something else. I would recommend you to do a clean install and then install your desired apps one by one with a testing reboot in between to see which app is causing your boot loop.

First it didn't work for new Update SuperSu V2.46.zip
But it worked for Beta SuperSu V2.74-2xxxxx.zip
I have flashed the twrp recovery and the supersu zip but the supersu app is never there even tho it says its successfull and everytime i try to go back to twrp its gone and back to mi recovery instead. I domnt understand what i am doing wrong.
The bootloader is unlocked and says its unlocked in settings, i flashed twrp in adb and it was successful but it only works if i go straight from fastboot to recovery, if i reboot the phone then try and go to recovery its gone again.
Just use magisk instead of SuperSU.
It prevents recovery replacement and works better.

Thanks, it worked. Guess ill have to break the habbit and move away from supersu.
I don't know what happened i was using my p 20 lite and magisk stopped working no other rooted apps was working so i thought to flash stock rom when i enter the fastboot mode there's only Written Phone Unlocked that's it. Before there was written FRP UNLOCKED but now that space is blank and my device is already unlocked. I also tried to restore backup from TWRP but it failed on 50% and when I rebooted it open the phone for 1 minute and it restart automatically.

I tried with HWOTA8 but stuck at bootloop
BUt my main problem is why frp isn't showing up?
I successfully flashed stock rom but the device keep restarting after every minute I select the language connect to wifi and then restart. I've flashed the same stock before it was working fine but now I don't know what happened I tried both ways HWOTA8 and flashing all files with fastboot but nothing happened. I guess the main reason is frp isn't showing up.

Which Magisk version are you having issues?
Try this:
-Clean all traces of Magisk or do a Factory data reset
-Install Magisk v17.1

Don't install the Magisk Manager, flash only the zip with TWRP, the Magisk Manager installed is the latest version.
Download the Magisk v17.1 from here:
