Meanwhile, thank you for having reopened this project, new blood for our jewel, and then FINALLY BLACK THEME.
Excellent construction everything works fine appearance ota updates to check this too if it works. You have defined experimental version but I find it very stable and complete a few customizations and this good in my opinion and the battery seems eternal. Installed Viper4android that seems to work well, there is still the old camera cm but overall it works well maybe will be updated in the future meantime I'm enjoying this build and keep as a daily driver.:good::good:
r_6 update
Just updated to revision 6. Also have a few more small updates.
I will try this ROM, Its promising!
Be aware that the rom will probably be updated a few times over the next few days (if not hours, lol). I have been behind due to development of the m7 device. With that said, I had just updated to add another camera option. :good::good:
5 stars for me.Thank you for the rom.
wow needless to say I'm downloading new OTA update date buid 16/12

Thanks
Awesome! Thanks XenonHD development team. I've been running the 12/13 build without issue. Blazing fast and smooth!
Thanks

Perhaps you are confusing this is Xenon, no Slim rom.

Amazing ROM. Loved it on lollipop and marshmallow. Looks like a great candidate for a nougat daily driver.
Thanks for the great work!

Thanks for the update. I may have missed an update that gets video working in this rom.
As for themes, you can download Substratum from GPlay and use this for Layers type themes at this time. I plan to have both Substratum and the older CMTE options on 2 different versions soon.
Installed the rom. It is nice . I run tmobile firmware and at least with this rom i got h+ speeds instead of h speeds i get with all cm, gpe, aosp roms.
With cpu speeds up to 2.8 i got very high scores in uxbench benchmark.
Uxbench is a software made by me is free with no ads. You can find it on playstore.
Great rom
M8 at&t, s-off, super cid
ROM runs perfect, thanks, using a better camera app for video
Plaay store only works with newest gapps, last months gapps fail playstore sign in . arise sound mod works with this ROM
Keep up the great work!!! :good::good:
P.S. adaway works with this rom

I have an error like this
"Unfortunatelly, Google App has stopped."
and I colud not install rom.
I don't know what gapps should I use with this rom.
Tried GApps for 5.1.1, installed but google play services has stopped
Install the PA Gapps 5.1.1 pico (uni), still no luck.
another problem is "Browser has stopped"
Just a feedback, not a complaint.
Thank you
Anyone gets access denied when trying to download the ROM? Thanks!
I have same issues with GApps not working, tried Fermion Gapps, Minimal Edition Gapps.. no dice

This ROM was created by none other than the great Martin Coulon (@martinusbe). This was created as a side project during his 'free' time while waiting for GZR's Validus & Tesla builds to update. Now if you are wondering why it is called Tipsy, you guessed it. He was actually somewhat drunk when he made it, and even now, most updates/fixes are done while happilyi ntoxicated, thus keeping the Tipsy motto. It was initially done for the OnePlus One as a joke, however, the love for this ROM was so huge, it found it's way out. We just couldn't keep it to ourselves. Within a few days, it had spread like wildfire to a plethora of different devices.
Tipsy has a slim base, and only the useful and necessary stuff was added, including a few extra features to keep up with the competition out there. Tipsy fully supports Layers (RRO) and has the Layers manager app built-in. CM is kept to the barest minimum here, and is only added/used ONLY as needed.
I will try to keep this updated as much as possible, but if you feel like getting the info as it comes out along with some nice graphics, check it out here:

Finally had time and decided to test drive this rom, like always everything based of Slim is solid,
And this rom is pretty solid, very smooth.
But with I have this issue on my phone, don't know if my phone is old or...... Maybe someone can try to reproduce this error, just so I can be sure its not my phone.
Watching mkv files for a long time (2 or 3 hours) without rebooting the phone, checking kernel adiutor shows both cpu as offline.
Notification Volume
I have searched but can't find the notifications volume. It seems it's lower than ringtone volume

*Welcome to Tipsy OS*
This is something Martin Coulon (@martinusbe) started in 'free' time when waiting for GZR Validus or Tesla builds and having some drinks.
He just started with a slim base, and added what he thought useful. It grew up to be a fully functional Rom
The main goal is to keep it Slim based and will not add any cm features unless Slim does.
Just report the bugs and request features, we'll see what we can do!.......
And don't get it twisted, its not because we're Tipsy that this project is not a serious one, try it and feel speed and stability [emoji14]

A question, I was on 1.7, as per the G+ site announcement last night if on 1.7 the OTA would work. While it did download the rom, no script ran to do the install. Is the OTA suppose to run a script and install or are we to manually install on each updated download.
As aside note: Doing a normal dirty flash it wiped out the already installed GAPPS from the 1.7 install and that had to also be reinstalled as well. And confirmed no Notification sound at all.
Flashing back to another rom till corrected. Looking forward to it's development.

Working here, with no issues.
I did notice one minor issue in that Gallery oddly didn't want to detect photos from my micro SD card until I used the CM File Explorer to open up a random jpeg on my micro SD card. Strange.

The rich functionality is based on AOSP, development was begun in September, 2016.

Copy the ROM and Gapps on phone.
Go to your recovery
Wipe Data, cache and dalvik cache
Install ROM and Gapps zip
(DO NOT FLASH SUPERSU, SuperUser is included in ROM. If you need to flash it, download SuperUser from here and flash it)
Reboot - 1st boot takes around 3-4 minutes.
For the guys who want to use SuperSu instead of the SuperUser, here is the unsu zip: http://xyyx-dev.ru/nitrogen-os/Nitrogen_msm_UNROOT.zip
Flashing process to replace SuperUser with SuperSU: Flash ROM, gapps, unsu zip, SuperSu and reboot
Points to note:
1. You'll get SuperSu in app drawer and it'll work without any problems
2. If you reboot your phone, the app icon will disappear from app drawer but SuperSU will still work. This issue is fixed now :good:
Enjoy!

Can anyone give a review ? How's the battery ?
And is there major bugs ?
Heard so much about NOS
Excellent rom, you can feel the smoothness from the very first steps of setting up the device..
Many customisation options without exaggerating plys great launcher and gallery app.
I didn't encounter any bugs and about battery it's early to tell, but with Arsenic Kernel built in I think it's gonna be great..!
only thing, double tap 2 wake doesn't seem to work.. got it working through Kernel adiutor.
First off thank you for a great great rom, I just installed it and had a look under the hood wow!! Love those options in settings, just a quick question about data, I had enabled 2g network while screen off and I did not receive MMS, it says downloading but doesn't come in, I turned off the 2g option but still can't send or receive MMS. I rebooted device ... Anything else I can try?
Edit: I can try setting the APN settings, sheesh. Sorry folks all good
There is no apn for my carrier, after I config apn, mobile network is working fine. A request, can you please add pixel's navigation bar animation ?

Many customisation options without exaggerating plys great launcher and gallery app.
I didn't encounter any bugs and about battery it's early to tell, but with Arsenic Kernel built in I think it's gonna be great..!
only thing, double tap 2 wake doesn't seem to work.. got it working through Kernel adiutor.

Glad to see Crdroid O ?
I dunno if is multirom related, but on d851 as secondary rom, wifi doesnt work.
If anyone try this as primary and wifi works fine, let me know pls.

Hmm, I didn't think to think that being a secondary could be the reason WiFi doesn't work for me either. I doubt it but ya never know.
WiFi is the last main piece not working. Everything else seems pretty good.

Does this Rom have tap to sleep?
Installing as I type this! (just finished a full Nandroid Backup first!) I'm running the Canadian variant LG G3 D852. Will report and bugs if I find any! In the mean time, Thanks A Million for porting Oreo to our G3s!!!

On the status bar I think. I'll have to double check.

Definitely NOT multirom related.
I installed the ROM (4th of november release) twice as a singular ROM on my spare G3.
The wifi works fine upon install but after a while, and at least 2 reboots...
It stops working all together.
I manage to screnshot the error.
Unfortunately the forum doors not allow the upload of media (for regular users like myself).
"Failed to save network" is the error.

Thanks @DTTR for the confirmation.
Hmm, not sure why you can't upload pics. You're a senior member and been around awhile. Should be able to post pics. Probably a temporary XDA or Tapatalk glitch. I couldn't do the same not too long ago.
ZTE Axon 7 A2017U, Dark ROM, Tapatalk 4.9.5
So, I installed the 7.11 release.
One reboot (intentional). The WiFi disconnected and never auto-conected. I had to go into settings and toggle the WiFi.
Now. About the crDroid 4 thread.
The 3.X thread stated whether the ROM was rooted or not. Maybe it's worth mentioning in the first post that the ROM is not rooted.
Now about ROM requests.
I would really like to have the Clear all button on Recent apps down, not up...
Meanwhile I'm accommodating with O.
I'm still a M guy. My main G3 runs on stock M rooted with lots of Tasker profiles which do not run on N and O.
Good job crDroid team!

I've been testing the ROM for almost 3 days, with the first install the ROM was feeling laggy and the phone was a little hotter, but I wiped everything and now it feels smoother.
WiFi and data works good, haven't had a single disconnect issue so far. GPS is working great. I am using Footej and it really helps to improve camera resolution.
I haven't been able to test a fully charged round of battery, but I feel battery life is comparable to crDroid 7.
I may have been experiencing some LOS bugs but the ROM feels pretty stable for daily use, the only thing is not working for me is ADB over USB, I have been using it over network but that is not secure.
Overall, great work firebird11, I bet that with those bugs fixed this ROM will become pretty solid.
Thanks for the effort and time put in this.
In D851 the WiFi does not turn on, the MAC stays 00: 20: 00: 00: 00: 00
Great work thanks for the ROM
Got a very minor big on the lockscreen.
# Swipe on the lockscreen to bring up the pattern screen (or any screen I think)
# Press the back button.
Instead of going back to the swipe lockscreen the screen is now completely blank (just your wallpaper).

yes, you can do it on status bar and also on navigation bar. Also if you install another launcher you can do it in any part of the screen
