Lg g2 mini service manual - LG G2 Mini

Because I have same problem with the FM antenna and I don’t take any signal, I managed to find the service manual and I like to share it with you.
It has all the exploited view of the board and explains a lot of thing about the chips, even the smallest parts of the board. Can help you find the problem, as I find my own.
And if someone have the abilities to make a module for the IRRC this can help I think.
At first need a little practice but is not difficult to understand the diagrams.

This is a very interesting document.

[Q] Tapas / DimSum (Crippled) Android on Sharp 72xxU Thread

Sharp has made a pretty nice Keitai-style Android phone: sh7218u , but has crippled the OS only to run chinese apps. (They call it DimSim)
What would be the best way on approaching a potential "uncrippling" of this software.. and installing a full blown Andorid on it ?
All suggestions welcome, (I don't wanna hear any "buy a HTC instead" replys) 'cause they don't make clamshell androids)
Thanks ,
The Keitai'ist
bump for you! Would like to know this as well.
Rooting software available.
Found a WHOLE bunch of software for the Sharp 72xx on a Chinese BBS, PM me for files... & guides
Anybody has more info on functioning of the SH7218U outside China, namely in EU? Been thinking about this phone as my second (private phone), I'll be able to order one from China in August... Is it worth the hassle and the risk?
Thanx
Alright everyone, I'm in love with this phone, anyone feel the same? Well, you're about too.
Here's a link to install and enable Gapps, use a translator if ya want.

Also, anyone familiar with the SH-01B? And it's really nice-looking big clock for the external display? I have the files for making yours look like that as well. Just PM me if ya want. Or just get it from this link.

Oh yeh, z4root roots this device fine btw.
Now, I don't really know how to read Chinese well so Ive gotten all this info from lurking Chinese forums searching for keywords or just finding these because of others. So, if anyone can help me out with translating this link I'm about to give, ALOT of helpful things will result since it's basically a thread on SH7218U optimization.
http://www.mobile01.com/topicdetail.php?f=525&t=2175932&last=30798785
Also, if you check out this vid, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmTf300BhpI ,this guys SH7218U is modded so the notification and virtual android buttons have a different look to them. I asked the guy and this is what he said, "It is similar to how to modify the status bar is other android phone (which you can search from google or XDA forum), but the tricky part is instead of modify the frame-res.apk. you do the modification on dianxinos-res.apk". Now that seems simple enough but I can't find any guide on HOW to do this, and him not replying any further didn't help me out.. SO yeh, if anyone can read/write Chinese lets look up on how to mess with the SH7218Us framework.apk and dianxinos-res.apk, as for now Ide rather not mess with those important files without a clear English guide.
So let's try and get something going here possibly maybe perhaps?

Pinout?

Does anybody have an idea of what the P500 pinout is? And whether it is possible to revive a complitely bricked phone by simply swiching the pins or it will need a box (It's really hard to find boxes for flashing ROMs in Bulgaria).
EDIT: Please only provide answers to my questions, I'm already out of warranty and taking the phone to a service center will cost as much as a completely new phone (Even without replacing thunderg and radios, I'm not sure whether the SIM module is working...)
Wait a little bit. I have some info, but it is somewhere. When I'll find it, all needed info will be in this post

@ashirviskas: Thanks for your efforts. Unfortunately, ROM flash boxes are rare in here, and I don't have any materials and instruments to modify and create integrated circuits. Unless someone else suggests a method without a box,

[Q] Replace WL1270 module?

I wanted to reply to this post but can't because I haven't made ten posts.
I've been reading up a bit on the BT thing, and was wondering how reasonable it would be to look into replacing the wireless module.
Even though these modules are made for OEM designs they can be bought from places like mouser. I don't think I would be able to get the datasheet from RFM since they ask to request it, and let you sign a NDA with lots of questions.
Has anybody been looking into this option seriously? I don't really know a lot about the software part of this operation, but wouldn't mind looking into the HW part.
As sidenotes:
* has anybody used the UART port used initially for hacking the device for other purposes such as controlling external hardware, or is this out of the question?
* Any chance the NT would get USB host connection somehow? Is this something that is currently being looked into or just not feasable?
regards
Hi,
* @AdamOutler has been the one using UART as far as i know, so if you have questions about it you should PM him (he's the man)
* I think devs are trying to first get Bluetooth working before USB host, i know in the nook color is possible and im sure they have it in their to-do list but will take sometime. one step at the time. If you want to know about the bluetooth issue they are having then check this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1554956 and here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1553040

Hi Veronica,
The post I refer to is in one of the threads that you link to.
The chip/module in the NT is the WL1270, which (according to the manufacturer), just isn't capable of BT. The WL1271 has that capability, hence the question about desoldering the module in the NT and swapping it with it's sister that has BT capability...
Or I really should have missed something...

[Q] Tracing Error Messages

Hey all, I'm not actually sure where to post this, so I'll give this subforum a shot. I'm a hardware guy. I don't develop, but I need some guidance on my research topic so I'm turning to those of you who know what I don't.
I'm working with a software deveopment board based around the Snapdragon II and I'm performing some tests on it. At the moment I can't divulge the nature of the tests, but I can tell you that I'm working specifically with one of the cameras. During my tests, I am monitoring the board via a serial connection and ADB, and I see errors pop up and the camera application crashes. I've uploaded a screenshot of the ADB output for those of you who are interested, but since I'm new, you can't see it. PM me if you want to see it.
My question is this: How would I go about figuring out where these errors came from? I'd like to know if this is a driver issue, an application issue, a kernel issue, or something else.
Thanks for looking!

can't connet to the network

Today I installed a custom rom for my chinese phone Mlais mx65 everything works fine but, I can't connect to my network with my sim card, and it's weird i tried installing stock rom and other roms same problem but I didn't have any problems before that, any suggestions?
Check to see if your IMEI has changed. I know some MTK devices have IMEI issues after flashing certain types of roms. If your IMEI is ok, check the baseband / radio.
If you messed up the IMEI: http://en.miui.com/thread-10061-1-1.html
yeh it says Imei is invalid but this tutorial is very hard to understand.
That's certainly not the only tutorial. As I said, it's not an uncommon issue. I don't get much chance to play with these kinds of devices at my shop, so don't have personal experience. But you'll just to find a guide that might be a bit easier to understand. Is your native language English? Is it because it's a bit more technical than you are comfortable with?
No it's not my native language is slovenian.
plus im having a hard time finding the easy tutorial, I'm not an expert in android phones so it's preety hard.
K, I thought that might be the case. Well, if you don't know of any Slovenian phone forums where someone who is technically inclined and fluent in English as well might be able to help walk you through, you might just look through YouTube so you can see someone going through the steps as well. I understand how hard it is to do technical things when it isn't your strongest skill AND in your 2nd (or 3rd or whatever) language.
Maybe something like this might help at least point you in the right direction:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dpo2nh5Nri0
I realize it doesn't say specifically for YOUR phone, but if it has the same chipset then the instructions are usually very similar for MediaTek devices I believe.
Thanks for you help I checked some forums and got the easyest answer

No problem! Glad you got it sorted out. Did you find the answer in English or your language? If English, you should post here in case someone else searching for answers in the same situation might find help easier.
