Hi,
I am able to install Stock MM or Lollipop and root them.
But I am not able to install any custom MM roms like CM13, RR, Xperience etc..
I am using the TWRP 3.0.2-0
Phone is rooted after MM Stock Update. Installed all MM roms but doesn't boot.
They install fine but reboots on the boot logo of the roms.
I checked all forums as per my knowledge.
I am not sure what I am doing wrong.
Please help..

That is the reason, you must downgrade to say... Version B351 for example. Then try again (flash twrp, flash Custom ROM)

Hi, which version of stock do you have ? If >= b360 it bootloops, you need to downgrade version in such case.
Edit: oups too late

Both b360 and b370 will cause bootloop. So need to go back to earlier version. You can find it at http://www.hihonor.com/in/support
Thank you All..
I found the solution for this.
I downloaded the Stock 6.0.0 version instead of Stock 6.0.1 and used the dload method to downgrade.
Then flashed the latest TWRP and flashed custom roms without any issues.

I've a little Question.
I want to root my Phone. I've installed latest official Marshmallow update (G925FXXU3DPDP) and don't know what's the way to root. The cf-autoroot from File Chainfire is different from my current Buildnumber.
I saw a Video from "Highonandroid" in that he first flashed the SpaceX Kernel and then the Twrp, does this work?
One more Question: When i flashed Twrp and want to install a 5.1.1 over the Official Marshmallow, do i get a bootloop then?
Sorry for the Questions, but i am new at this and don't want to do anything wrong
Flash twrp as in original android development section. Then flash supersu.zip.
And no 5.1.1 rom on MM booloader.

Doesn't matter if the build numbers aren't exactly the same. As long as your device is g925f zeroltexx the root will work fine.
I have 6.0.1 g925f and i used cf autoroot a few days ago and no issues or errors

Yeah you can use flashify to flash your roms and zips. Make sure you make backups first though of your kernel and recovery. Just incase.

i am now on b360 with stock recovery,
so now, if i install twrp and xposed, will it work?
if i works, can i be able to go back to any custom rom?
or if i be able to restore twrp backups?
because,i heard that once you get on b360, one can never run any custom rom , neither restore a twrp backup..so if i now install twrp, then i wont be able to downgrade or restore or boot to any custom rom, them i will mostly have to be sticking on the same b360 forever?

Its not like that.
You cannot boot to any custom ROM. That's it.
But you can restore TWRP backup (or) Flash the older version.
If you are from India, then you can flash the new B370 from 360 now.

It recently got updates to MM with EMUI 4.0.1. i installed TWRP. made the full backup wiped all the partitions and installed cm 13 but it is stuck in bootloop. It reaches the CM bootup screen but reboots. i reflashed my stock MM and tried again but no use. The stock firmware is B430. I even tried flashing the boot.img again but no use. In case somebody in this thread is interested in a solution, I managed to install LineageOS on a Honor 5X KIW-AL10 with the latest stock firmware KIW-AL10C92B437.
Once you have unlocked the bootloader, flash TWRP with adb, you need to flash Lineage OS & a zip that will fix the loop (see: https://jira.lineageos.org/browse/BUGBASH-222?attachmentViewMode=list). I used Fix_boot(422+).zip. VoilĂ !

You can can't flash any new Rom using the old Bootloader, go update it then update your TWRP (if needed) to be able to flash the Roms
Have a new Rom in your storage since this problem also works backwards, old Roms won't boot on the new bootloader

the then extract b350 which you have downloaded with huawei update extractor(its an app you can download from google)
then flash stock recovery which you have extracted from b350 and flash it via adb fastboot..
then downgrade to b350 by following the guide which i send you..
