Is there any way to downgrade to marshmallow from nougat? For some reason it seems like Nougat doesn't let you flash anything (in twrp at least). I cant even transfer files without getting into a bootloop.
Have your tried flashing from your computer using adb? That's how i went from CM 14.1(Android 7.1) back to marshmallow.

it wouldn't work. CM14.1 works wih MM bootloader, while Official Nougat with... Nougat's one! (that refuses to boot MM).
Some have bricked it trying to downgrade... so, pay attention....

Why you want to downgrade...
6.0.1 is amazing rom
Root it and install adaway..
You can use twrp also....
stock 6.0.1 is best rom available...
Rooting this rom is only possible by SuperSU-v262-3-20151211162651.zip
https://www.dropbox.com/s/14m95lkfz4...62651.zip?dl=0
After this you can update SuperSu from Playstore
Adaway ver 3.1.1 works on this 6.0 Rom...

I am also using my 64gb SD Card as internal memory with feature of adaptive memory in this rom... That's amazing...
i want to use lollipop prefer marshmallow and the marshmallow get too much ram to work, i just have ~50mb ram free
Bro Check your Android Version it would be 6.0 not 6.0.1 as no one officially got 6.0.1 from Motorola, On 4G LTE SURNIA
Hi guys,
my opx works now on RR 7.1.1 and i wanna downgrade to 6.0.1 because of xposed and better battery life.
i have twrp 3.0.2 installed and unlocked bl.
what i have done until now:
nadroid backup
backup with titanium
complete wipe
and flashed RR 6.0.1
then i got stucked in op logo
twrp works
so i installed back the rr 7.1.1 because i need the phone.
What went wrong?
Which RR 6.0.1 ? Is it compatible with new bootloader ?
Did you unpgraded it?
TWRP : which version of 3.0.2 (V41 from BlueSpark? )?

The last RR is on nougat. If you don't give me info, I can't help you.
BL : did you once installed OOS 3.1.4 ?
TWRP : I need to know which version you have.
Downgrade from RR 7.1.1 to Oxygen OS 3.1.4
I want to downgrade from RR 7.1.1 to Oxygen OS 3.1.4,
I have upgraded from Oxygen OS 3.1.4 to RR 7.1.1 previously.
Currently twrp version is 3.0.3-0.

Resurrection's 6.0.1 ROMs use the old bootloader and the newer 7.1.1 use the new bootloader.
To install the ROMs written for the old bootloader, you will have to get the old bootloader. So you cannot run any ROM that uses the older bootloader right now.
How to downgrade the bootloader? Check this post out: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=69170103&postcount=45
Hello , I have a rooted LG K7 (metroPCS model) with an unlocked bootloader. I am wanting to know if Lineage OS is compatible with the device.
Will lineage OS work properly if I try to flash it with the LG k7?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Just go to their official website and look there under the lg menu...you will find all the compatible devices there.
I don't know if k7 is there...so just have a peek.
And lineage builds are nightly , which means they are usable but not completely stable and are improving.
Only snapshots are completely stable. But there is nothing harm.in trying...you can always come back

Hi guys
I have looked around and am on MM for my H850 and fancy trying Fulmics on N. As I understand if I wish to downgrade from N to MM I just need to flash boot and modem for MM and then MM Rom. But my question is this. If I make a complete nandroid backup of MM in TWRP, can I just restore all these imgs over a N Rom to downgrade to MM, without needing to flash boot and modem stock img?
Thanks
Anyone?
Downgrade from 7.0 to 6.0.1 for the LG G5 H850
Downgrade from 7.0 to 6.0.1 for the LG G5 H850
downgrade with autoprime metod.
By the way, why You need to do that, is that for xposed module? Or something else?
Hi thanks for the link to autoprime method. I just wanted to know if a nandroid backup would negate the necessity to flash boot and modem img when restoring to MM.
I have found alternatives to most xposed modules and so fancied trying a custom rom on N ; I would instal a custom rom on MM, but none appear to be supported any longer
Long story short, I soft bricked my device trying to flash Resurrection Remix nougat. I got the tablet back to stock kitkat with flash tool. I unlocked the bootloader.
Now I'm in the dark about how I re-root and get to a version of twrp that will work with nougat. It's been so long since I messed with this device I don't remember what I did to get it to stock lollipop with an old version of twrp. I can't really find any straightfoward tutorials on xda.
Thanks.
