No there is no custom or kernel right now And won't be a single one in the future. Because H860's bootloader cannot be unlocked and i'm pretty sure lg is not planning an official bootloader unlock method.also almst no one is working on this variant so we are doomed.
Just throw this god forsaken device into trash and buy something else because lg is just crap.

Once again I'm making a thread to help out us wind and mobi users get to the questions that need to be answered....this thread comes from the days of when I had my g2x and someone made a thread similar to this since then I have made one for galaxy s3 and note2 users, someone else made one for galaxy s4 users and now I'm back and going it again.
If you got a question and I'll try and find you an answer!

For development, do we follow the AT&T thread or the T-Mobile thread?

General question since I didn't want to start a new thread...
Does WindMobile's D801 come factory unlocked or is it locked to the carrier?
Thanks!

I'm new to the device and I've seen a few things unfamiliar to me such as GEEB & Geespr...I googled GEEB and only came across ROM threads with GEEB in the title. I've checked all the threads for the device hoping to find a clear definition. I couldn't find anything, so what is GEEB and Geespr ?

Short answer. You want to use geeb since you have att/e970. Geespr is sprint/ls970.

Well hey thank you...I appreciate that...also I've been thinking a lot about unlocking the bootloader, I've realized an user has created an app just for that purpose. Is there any reason I should want to unlock it ? What are your thoughts

Unlocking is required before bloatware can be removed, also needed for installing recovery used to flash custom ROMs. If you bloat is removed without unlocking you will get security error soft brick upon reboot needing lgnpst to restore.
Phones rooted, was running pa beta 6 but switched to m3 snapshot...I came from the GNote and that phone didn't have an unlocked bootloader either. The only phone I ever bootliad unlocked was way back in the day when I had a HTC g1

Here's the build I PM'd you about: CandyKat-v1.3.1-20140413-geeb.zip
I did a little testing. Seems to work.
How much do you understand about the themeing options...under androids apps. There is a thread created that includes multiple themes...

It Indeed is nicer then the G3 in Size but the specs are just as same as the G2 so its not worth the upgrade for a bit different design and laser focus. Thanks for sharing:good:
Please where can I get the Android N KDZ or TOT file to update my AT&T LG G5? I live outside the US.
Sent from my LG-H820 using XDA-Developers Legacy app
Nowhere because AT&T hasn't released it and probably won't just like they haven't released previous versions

Interesting. Is there a way to get OTA update outside the US?
