In this post, we present a new custom boot screen for all which fuses the Redmi Boot Logo to a boot animation similar to One Plus( The one with the cool hexagon spinning and appearing and vanishing as in Micromax Yureka also) mostly in CM phones. Though the new CyanogenMod versions are better, the boot animation in most is the Bouncy Blue Head CynoGen Boy which I find a bit annoying.
The boot animation starts, assuming its is in a Redmi 2 or Redmi 2 Prime Device and as the First MI Logo Keeps on flashing for nearing 15 secs, the boot animation sequence starts after that. The boot animation file "bootanimation.zip" can be downloaded from
Simple use it in "Theme DIY" or Replace the "/system/media" to enjoy the new look.

You can use this python script. Make sure the PNG is smaller than 75KiB or the fastboot wallpaper will be overwritten.

I have used lots of mediaTek and snapdragon devices and there I used to change the boot logo very easily with the custom picture. The method for changing boot logo is very easy. And many developers are creating/maintaining tools for these devices.
But in Asus Zenfone 5, i just can't change the boot logo aka splash screen with my own custom made picture. Still now There are no developers who will make any kind of tool that will change the boot logo of zenfone 5 device.
In the stock firmware I found splash.bin file (which I think is responsible for stock boot logo). I have no idea how to edit this splash.bin so that I can change the boot logo picture. Can someone make a tool for that so that all the zenfone 5 users change there boot logo with any pictures they like ?
I just want to change the boring Asus stock boot logo (which comes before bootanimation) with the logo of mine (my own selected picture).
Can anyone out here to help me to change the boot logo of asus zenfone 5 ? I will really appreciate that if someone help me out.

I've just built a MIUI 8 Port for my Moto X Force using ROM PORTER 2. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2196491
The rom gets past the Bootloader Unlocked warning and starts the boot animation, however it never goes beyond this point.
I have taken a logcat while the phone was booting and attached it to this post. I need an idea of what needs to be fixed.
