I want to add system.img directly in my recovery flashable zip. So how can i do it & what lines i should add in updater-script ?

I extracted all the files from a flashable ROM zip file. But I have deleleted the ZIP file accidentally. So my question is, can I ZIP it again using WinRar or winzip and flash it ? Will that work ?

In creating flashable zip of /system...
What I've read is to extract system.img from phone and unpack it (convert to .ext4 then extract using some tools) then make it flashable zip.
Is it possible to directly copy the entire /system of the phone and make it a flashable zip?
(Without extracting system.img of the device...)

I want to add root access into the rom, but with kitchen I can add supersu.zip file and do flashable rom zip file for all.
The problem is with no custom recovery on my device - I can flash only via SPD flashtool so I need raw file like system.img , boot.img and recovery.img
Anybody knows how add root and compile system.img with root? so I can flash via SPD flashtool?
I tried add su , superuser.apk and busybox but not works - after reboot I opened supersu app and had binary install error .

assuming u r having a mediatek mobile i can help u build a custom recovery twrp..... send me ur chipset name and recovery.img file

Hi,
I build aosp for my Xperia X, the output are 3 .img files, system.img, boot.img, userdata.img.
So I wanted to ask if it's possible to create a flashable zip for those .img files instead of flashing them using fastboot.
If yes, what should the folder structure look like?
Also could I use a META-INF folder from an other rom? (omnirom for example)
