Hello!
Can someone tell me if it is possible to use the donation package without root, BUT with permission granted via ADB, to hibernate system apps?
Yes, you can.
Awesome, do I need other permissions, than the ones on their site here?: https://greenify.uservoice.com/know...o-grant-permissions-required-by-some-features
@leeswagger,
Nope , that's it .
What OS version? One device I have is non-root 6.0.1. Greenify works fine so far.

I have the same question. Have you successfully hibernated system apps without root? And does those 4 additional adb work too? I'm on v20 7.0. I cannot root my phone. Could you tell me what only works on non rooted?
Is it requires to run all 4 commands as mentioned https://greenify.uservoice.com/know...o-grant-permissions-required-by-some-features here or
only first one. I am in 7.0 .
Hello! Sorry for the late answer. Yes I have succesfully hibernated systemapps, keep in mind though, some essential apps/processes can't be hibernated.
And yes the 4 commands work as they should, but my conclusion is, you probably need root if you want all the features of Greenify, but it works as it should!

The application is attached.
Changelog:
V3.3
-Improved installer by writing main application directly to /system/ instead of extracting to storage and then moving it.
-Added installation support on marshmallow
V3.2
-Added dynamic installation which will help this application get installed on many devices without any problems
-Added support for jellybean and kitkat devices.
-Should work on Note 2, 3, 4 and 5 and other S-Pen devices now without any problems (all variants, only N910F note 4 variant was tested, please give feedback)
V3.1
-Rewrote the installer. Installer is much more reliable now.
-Rewrote the service from scratch up. No notification, and uses very little power since it only runs when the pen state changes.
-Removed Learning/Static modes because I thought they were redundant.

I'm afraid not, there's no way to change the used keyboard without root access.
Excellent..
This app is excellent. Is it possible to add some extra functionality like for Teamviewer and Terminal I want hackers keyboard and the rest swype + dragon.
Thanks for application.

I'm glad you like it. There is no known way to detect when an application is opened, which means that the only way to do this is to periodically check for the foreground application (every 5 seconds for example), which would make the application drain too much battery for my liking.
I'll look into it further (maybe there's a way to detect application launch using root), but I can't make any promises.

Yes, it asked me about root privileges and I allowed it on first launch.
I can't delete application data because this button is inactive in a application manager...
Supersu checked, everything is ok.
Is the app compatible with Marshmallow? I can't test it yet, I'm waiting to root because of knox and warranty
It does not work with Note 5 - 6.0.1, I downloaded it from Play Store, run and install, then reboot my phone. After that I run the app again and it still asks me to install.
I will very soon work on a fix for both Jellybean and Marshmallow versions. Sorry for the late reply but was extremely busy.

I'm such an idiot. I rooted for your app alone and didn't find this thread until afterward. I have a Note 5 on 6.0.1. Has there been any progress? I'd gladly buy the app. Thanks.
EDIT- Once you click Install, only a fraction of a second passes and it says to reboot. There is no way enough time passes to actually install anything.
Hey, I'm new to this rooting stuff with Androids (I'm familiar with jailbreaking on iPhones though, so I am aware of the risks) and I'm not exactly sure which software would best fit me. I would like something that could change some of the things that I can't change without rooting with Android 6.0.1 like the lockscreen settings (like being able to access the apps I want WITHOUT having to unlock the phone). I've heard of some rooting systems like Xposed and SuperSU, what's the difference between those two? And to note, I have a Galaxy S6 Edge Sprint variant (SM-G925P), running the latest build of Android 6.0.1. I also have Odin3 10.7 downloaded with the latest Xposed APK downloaded and installed on my phone but not rooted.
Ill keep it short.
SuperSU manages root access requests
Xposed is a framework that able to manipulates system without actually touching the system. framework require root access and modules to.
Its like cydia.
Here is startup things u can do with xposed.

About this module
This module allows you to simply use the Banking app from Commerzbank with rooted devices, where it's known that the app normally force closes.
Installation
Download and install module
Activate the module and restart your phone
Have fun!
I've tested this module on my Samsung Galaxy S7 edge (SM-G935F) and Samsung Galaxy S4 (I9505), both with root and Xposed installed.
Download: http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.meinsss.xcommerzbank
Thanks rovo89 for Xposed!

Edit, have tested, will not start PHOTOTAN App. Can you add support for it?

I've just spend some hours looking through the code of photoTAN, it seems they use libshield there to do stuff, and thats where the trace ends for me every time.
It may be possible to do some modifications to that lib, but that may exceed the limitations of xposed, don't know for sure tho.
I've not looked into the banking app itself yet, so I can't tell if they use it there too, I'm not even sure if the lib is really the problem or if I missed something.

Thanks for trying!
I've stopped at this point as well.. I checked the java classes which are checking the libshield.so file and the methods which are executing this, but unfortunately the app is force closing without an error which would help me
We need only a method, what hide xposed from this App, like Rootcloak for hide root. Commerzbank say in a reviewanswer, PhotoTan will work on rooted Device but not on Hookingsoftware like Xposed..
a Idea is, to implement a method to replace the library from a older version of PhotoTan
but the problem have more Tan-App like DKB, Sparkasse and many more... but it exist a Module to solve the issue.. checking they Code can help

Has someone tried ANRC? Maybe it will work for photoTAN, it's worth a try. Unfortunately I'm not able to post a link to it here, but a search in the Xposed repo should be enough to find it.

Could you provide a link to the download of this apk or can you upload it here so I can take a look into the "old" app? Thanks!
I restored the old version via backup on my device, but i found the same version under this link http://mobile9apks.com/down_Download_Commerzbank-photoTAN.354979_APK.html
At the bottom of the page you can choose several releases e.g. 6.0.2. Please check if that website is a safe place for downloading banking apk's before you do so...
Could you please add the same functionality for the comdirect apps?
Best regards
Tim
i have now done following. I use the older Version of PhotoTan and deactivate Autoupdate in Playstore. Then i installed https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.whitedavidp.hideupdatesinplaystore and hide PhotoTan from Updatelist. In Setting of the App i use run at Boot and 1hour... then i run it one time manually Result: Good bye PhotoTan in Playstore xD
the App cost a little bit but its work perfectly. "XCommerzbank" and "Hide Updates in Playstore" solve all my Problems with the Crap of the Commerzbankapps

Use Rootcloak Xposed module to hide apps detecting your root. Add apps that you want to stop detecting root.
Download it from here. You need to install Xposed framework.
