Hey guys ! my phone is not switching on. When i press the power on button, the samsung logo keeps on appearing but doesnt show the home screen. Also when i try to switch it off, it doesn't. So i remove the battery to turn it off :silly:
I tried the Hard reset option by pressing Volume up + Select + Power on button. The reset window appeared. First i selected the factory reset option and then the reboot option. But it still didn't help. Even after rebooting the phone , the samsung logo keeps on appearing instead of showing the home screen.
Note : Its not a rooted phone.
Please Help

Hello, (Sorry for my bad English)
I have Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 not rooted and I have had it working fine for at least 7months now. Yesterday it suddenly off and keep restarting and not going into touch-wiz i am not familiar with android platform. I have tried to get into download mode (power + volume-down + menu button) and in recovery mode (power + volume-up + menu button) after getting into recovery mode android logo disappears quickly then restart and also getting into download mode phone shows the warning page i press the volume up button to get into download mode but phone restart.
I had removed the battery for one day and put it back and phone start auto without pressing the power button and it goes to start up Samsung galaxy logo then restart and keep restarting. Now, whenever i put the battery back phone start auto and keep restarting.
I need help what should i do?

this happened to me once. i removed the battery for a few minutes. then put it back and immediately entered the recovery mode. i hold the combo for a long time so that the samsung logo appears for 3 times and after the 3rd time, i released the combo and it entered the recovery mode. may/may not work for you. but worth trying? sounds funny but worked for me unexpectedly!!

glad to hear that
Hi Guyz, I have a tablet touchmate TM-MID 850(Android 4.0). Its having a problem that a message showing "unfortunately, skype has stopped" flashes after booting. If we press OK, then again it comes like in a infinite loop. Nothing is possible like to go menu or settings. I can just unlock the screen.. then the same message box is coming for other apps too.... again infinitely.
I tried to get into the recovery mode. For that I pressed and hold the vol down button and then the power button hold for 5 seconds(got from another forum), when the logo appears, released the power button, then it shows the recovery mode emblem but it freezes there.... not getting any menu or message. I tried different key combinations here, but no use... after sometime (about 2 min) it automatically reboots into normal mode and same infinite loop.... Please help me....
From couple of days ago I started to get popups saying "android ____ .com" or something and every time I clicked OK the message would pop up again not letting me press anything but the OK button continuesly.. so I powered off the phone
I powered back up again and my phone wouldn't boot anymore. The screen said "Encryption Unsuccessful" and then there was a "Factory Reset" button right below - nothing happens when I clicked it
So I went on and performed a factory reset by entering recovery mode (power button + volume up + volume down) and after it didn't work I went back to recovery mode and tried "clear cache" which didn't work so I then went to factory mode (power button + volume up) and cleared data by selecting MMC or something (it was in chinese)
What happens next is, the phone enters a boot loop. It boots, shows the Lenovo logo, then turns off, then boots again, Lenovo logo, turns off, and so on. I wasn't even able to turn off the phone so I clicked that red reset button at the back
I didn't try removing the battery or SD card
How do I go from here?
Hello,
My wife just bought a Galaxy S6 from a friend of her and we are trying to factory reset it.
If we do it from the menu the phone just turns off and when we turn it on again all the data is still there.
If we try using the keys before turning it on (volume up + power + home) after it turns on and we are holding the keys the capacitive keys leds start flashing like crazy and the phone doesn't turn on again after a while.
Any one knows what we can do to factory reset this phone?
sorry, just noticed there is a different forum for the t-mobile version
So you did try recovery mode, but it did not work? That's strange! When phone is turned off, press Volume up + Power + Home button and hold them until you see recovery screen (Android bot on cyan background). Then recovery menu will pop up (sometimes it can take a while for it to be shown). From there do the factory reset and wipe cache. But it seems you already tried it...

HELP! Blue Wave 8 33GT tablet stuck in recovery mode with "No command" message
I got my Blue Wave 8 33GT (not HD+) tablet completely bricked. First of all, I know this is not really a popular device and some of you might not have a single knowledge about this one, but I hope in any way you might help me get this device working again. Thank you in advance!
Some info about this device:
Bluewave's website: Wave 8
Android OS version: 4.4 KitKat
Device processor: Rockchip-based (RK31)
What just happened? It suddenly reboots while I'm playing and gone into recovery mode with an Android and a "No command." message. Now it won't boot the system anymore whenever I reboot, it always going into this recovery mode.
It has no volume buttons, just a reset, a hard back button and power button. Holding down the power and back button goes into the recovery mode directly. Through normal boot, it flashes the Bluewave logo twice then goes into the recovery. While the reset button immediately turn the device off. There's nothing else I can think of that I can do in this case.
My laptop can recognize it as an ADB Device in recovery mode and I think I may be able to flash it via Rockchip BatchTool, but the instructions I've read states that the device should be up and with a USB debugging enabled which I am not currently able to do in recovery mode. Device is rooted and working totally fine until this happened.
Anyone got into this kind of problem and able to go through it? Please, any help is greatly appreciated.
P.S
Just let me know if there are any additional info I could give you.
What about hard reset.

Hey! Thanks for your reply and time.
I tried every combination of either of the two keys but there is no such recovery menu showing up, and I am pretty sure that this device doesn't have a built-in recovery for factory reset.
If only I could go to its download mode stuff to be able to flash the firmware...

"Long press the power button to restart the device. If restarting fails, hard reset the tablet by poking the Reset hole using a pin. " it is from FAQ
maybe this could help.
1. Press the power button to get the option menu for
Power off
Reboot
Silence phone option.
2. on that menu you have to hold down that power off option on your touch screen while also holding down the home push button on the side of your tablet.
3. This brings up a screen to reboot into safe mode..(these are the 3 steps the company does not tell you that is why no one gets it to work.
4. HIt yes for safe mode and then hold down your power and home buttons on side of tablet till the dopo Logo appears.
5. Release both buttons and hit the power button one time and then hold only the home button down till a menu option appears.
6. Use the home button to move down to factory reset and press the power button to select. Once it says complete then use the power button to select reboot.
Problem solved. Hope this will help everyone out.
The only way is to remove the battery, attached again the battery then power it on their is no hard reset on blue wave the go to settings factory reset
