I have a Huawei Mediapad T1 7.0. I want to do a NANDROID backup before I try to install custom ROM. I have unlocked the bootloader (get the keys from (emui.huawei.com and search for /en/plugin/hwdownload/download) and rooted it using Kingo root. Now I'm having problems doing the backup. I downloaded TWRP and ROM Manager v5.5.3.7.
Rebooting to Huawei Recovery 1.0 doesnt have any option to do a backup. Using Rom Manager to do backup causes the app to be unresponsive. Any idea on how to do a backup? Thanks!

Hi I have big problem. I backed up all my apps and data on 5.0.2 stock with stock Backup & Restore app and after updgrade to stock 5.1.1 I can't restore them. What should I do now? I have rooted 5.1.1 if it matters.
Flash the recovery Backup you made before flashing 5.1.1 and use another backup tool.
Or you can try your luck in the official Sony forums.
Maybe you could find the old backup.apk which Sony used in 5.0.2 and try to install this on 5.1.1 and then restore?
1.How to make pure backup of STOCK ROM by TWRP?
2.How to restore TWRP backup of stock ROM so that we can flash OTA updates.
I own Lenovo vibe k5,I created TWRP backup of stock ROM(I flashed TWRP recovery by fastboot boot recovery.img, then created backup by keeping system read only)
After making backup I rooted the phone.
I restored TWRP backup of STOCK ROM,to flash OTA to get latest build.
After restoring backup I flash d OTA update, but it gave error message " system is remounted....."),so I unable to flash OTA successfully.
Why this has happened.
Any body know how to backup pure stock ROM & restore TWRP backup to flash OTA update successfully... without system remount errors....
thank you....
Greetings,
I have a lenovo tab 2 a10-30 with me. There is no completely working TWRP for it. Also I did not find any custom or stock rom copy anywhere. So before I start tweaking with it, I wish to create a nandroid backup. So that I can restore it even if I brick it. Is it possible with some tool like QFIL? Please help.
Hi there! I'm using Lenovo Vibe K5 (a6020a40) with custom rom (AOKP) and custom recovery (TWRP).
I need to backup my stable rom and if I decide to restore this backup but I can't manage to do it. The backup option completes successfully but on the restore I get some error. I tried with several twrp versions which I don't remember because it was before a month or two. Someone who manage to do this operation successfully tell mi which version of twrp to use or how to fix this bug. Thanks !

Flash recovery rom through recovery.

You should not freeze a system app like that especially MIUI's security app.
Fix:
Flash the same ROM again in TWRP or Flash the Recovery ROM.
