Apologies for posting in this section, but there does not seem to be a section for the vivo 6.
Are there any custom roms available for the blu vivo 6?
Back in November there were articles about many blu phone's shipping with a privacy invasive app that sent data such as contacts and messages back to a chinese company. I know that this particular issue was fixed in an update to the affected phones, but now my trust in the stock vivo 6 rom is lost, and I would really like to replace it with something else.
Thank you.
Hey,
Did you find any answers anywhere? I can seem to find a way to root let alone any custom roms?
Thanks

No I've not found a custom rom or root either. However I have discovered that this phone is a rebrand of the gionee s6 pro: gsmarena.com/gionee_s6_pro-8139.php There exists some rooting methods and a custom recovery for this phone forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/qmobile-z14-gionee-s6-pro-root-custom-t3483000 however I've not got any of them to work on the blu vivo 6 yet.
I have updated my post use the same post to root Blu Vivo 6
Custom rom for Vivo 6
I have the same question just bought Vivo 6 and heard about this spyware apps that blu installs on some models. So is it anyone how've made a custom ROM? or at least who know how to root blu 6?
I've searched a lot as well and can't find anything about custom ROMs. Has there been anything? My girlfriend bought one of these last year and it seems quite outdated...

Hi everyone. I really want to put a custom ROM on my Blu advance 5.0 bit there doesn't seem to be any Roms for that particular device. Someone please help!
Why would you do that? I have the same phone, and the stock rom works pretty good. No flaws, nor fails.
Well I would like to simply root the Advance 5.0 to be able to use the xposed frameroot. Did you have any luck getting a custom??
I'm also looking to do this. Can't find a solution posted anywhere just yet.
Hello, I have a Blu Advance 5.0, model is D030UX. Rooting on V04 took 30 seconds using Kingroot, but after the OTA to V06, I can't root it anymore. If you could help me, I'd appreciate it.

UPDATE: I have found a way to install custom recovery, as well as port ROMs and recoveries to the Blu Advance 5.0. Along with these advances, I have also had luck in installing Xposed Framework & Xposed modules, some work great and others not so much.
I will be putting files and links in this post soon, so check back often.

The V06 is a patch to disarm any root access available. Luckily, the Blu Advance 5.0 has Developer Options that include OEM Unlocking. This way, you can flash the V04 again, and obtain root access when flashing the TWRP recovery.
I can't seem to find a proper way to root this cellphone, if you could help I would apprecciate it very much.
Can't seem to find a rom for this phone. I believe it only has the chinese xing xang rom and I would like to know where I could find an european one.
Thanks

You know you can use ANY launcher you desire. And, if you don't like Start, you can disable it. Personally, I have disabled Start and use Nova launcher.
King Root adds so much adware and Spam to your phone and then finally says it is not supported. I will try disabling Start and using some other launcher if it gives me my real Android look.

Hello all,
I have bought an Oppo A5 phone few months ago. Since then I am searching for rooting this device. But unfortunately I couldn’t find anything about it's rooting method.
I, being a rooted user previously, desperately need to root this phone of mine too. All I find about Rooting Method for Oppo A57. I searched and saw Oppo A5 and Oppo A57, both are different device.
Can anybody help out by teaching me the method to Root my OPPO A5 device?
Thanks in advance.

There is a way to root the device, however it doesn't seem to be very beneficial as the process also breaks some stuff like mobile SIM signal loss or corrupted NvRecovery. The only thing we should do now is to wait for someone to port a new custom ROM like Lineage or things like that to this phone and to replace the OS entirely.
But in case you're still curious about it, I found this rooting tutorial posted back in 2017. Note that it might be outdated so proceed with your own risk
Man I hate ColorOS so bad, can't wait to see someone to come up with a new custom ROM for this thing
