Notification bar all jumbled up on home screen - Honor 5X Questions & Answers

I have a unrooted honor 5x and if I'm in the launcher, the notification status is jumbled shows two signal bars the battery icon is overlapping a identical battery icon. The funny thing is. It's only jumbled on the launcher, if I'm in a app the notification is cool. Confused as to what's going on. Any help would be great. I left a screen shot so y'all could see. Doesn't matter which launcher it is the stock does it to

First of all, that's weird of all I've seen
Your problem may have multiple solutions
1.restart your phone
If it doesn't help
2.clear data of your launcher,
If this doesn't help,
3.try changing view mode
If this doesn't help
4.uninstall and install launcher again
If this doesn't help
5.try any other launcher
And if this doesn't help,
6.do not install any launcher at all, use stock
Loool

try a different launcher, if its still there its a software issue and may need to flash stock rom

Solved
I reapplied the stock theme and that fixed the problem

Too Many Widgets, or too little RAM?

Is it possible to have too many widgets on a screen? I have no clue what I'm talking about here, but this is what is wrong. I've got my homescreen set up with Desktop Visualizer 1x1 widgets for my Semi Sense icons. There's nine of them, then my Battery Monitor Pro Widget, my aTAKEphONE widget, and then four regular icons to various programs. Every once in awhile one of my icons (not the Desktop Visualizer widget icons), namely the XDA icon, becomes a normal XDA icon, no longer one of my Semi Sense icons. I have to restart LauncherPro to get it to show the normal Semi Sense icon. Now, my aTAKEphONE widget is going blank. This is since the latest update of the program. It's there, but nonfunctional, the only way I can get it back is to go into the widget settings and back out, it shows up again. Probably two different issues, andI'm working with the aTAKEphONE developer, but I'm kinda wondering.....
If you've got this far, this is what I was thinking, that somehow I'm running out of memory on my Samsung Captivate, and things are getting bumped out of display memory - is that at all possible? I'm pretty sure these are two separate issues, the program was updated and something was changed, but the XDA icon changing is an ongoing problem. I appreciate any thoughts, I'm trying to learn here as I futz around.
Of course now that I've called the doctor it's fine but if I can get a screen shot I'll post it here.

Might want to give a diff launcher a shot as it is not unheard of for LP to have issues when one page is loaded with widgets.

VTL launcher and xron build launcher bar issue?

Hi everyone,
Minor issue here... I am running the xron's cm7 and using VTL launcher. Whenever I reboot, some of my icons in the launcher bar at the bottom seem to "undock" and the icon is larger than the others. I simply drag it off the bar and drag it back on, and it resizes automatically and things are good to go. Anyone else experience this issue?
Also, if you update an app that has a shortcut in a dock its icon will also become full sized. You'll have undock and redock the icon for it to be properly sized again. I feel like it's only happened recently with either B2.1 or B2.2 and I personally don't think VLC is the problem.

[Q] home screen black bar

Whenever I go to the home screen, that black bar is at the bottom of the screen and I'm pretty sure its not supposed to be there. I tried to wipe the cache and that didn't do anything. Any help is appreciated thanks.
Isn't that a feature of the Sense launcher? If you don't want it I would recommend using another launcher like Apex or Nova. If you're really attached to the Sense launcher but not the black bar, there might be a tweak to remove it in the one custom ROMs in the Android Development subforum.

annoying shading under notification bar

Hi,
I'm currently on NeatRom XXUFMB3 (android 4.2.1), using the latest version of Apex launcher (1.4.4)
and since I upgraded, I now have this half-an-inch-ish shaded bar / shadow underneath my notification bar on homescreen - never had it before; it's hiding the top of the homescreen wallpaper, it's just annoying and I want to get rid of it but I have not managed so far.
Yes, I did search the Internet and could not find any clear explanation ,not knowing how to define it in the first place!
Is it related to android 4.2.1 or Apex Launcher (BTW in Apex, homescreen settings > hide shadows is checked but does not seem to change anything)
can anyone help please ?

Known bug of the leaked firmware
Set a live wallpaper and then your wallpaper again. That will remove the shading for sometime. It'll come back, though. We've got to live with it till this issue is fixed, possibly in a future firmware.

[Q] Next Launcher 4X4 Widget

So I have been using Next Launcher for three years. I love themes and creating my own UI. I hide docs and create themes that are almost completely free of standard icons. To do this I use Zooper Widget 4x4 (or any other that I extend from top to bottom and side to side. I fill the entire screen and as I said even hide the dock as well as the status bar. Well the other day as I was working on an existing one the 4x4 widget (largest widget available) stopped filling the screen. Even when I go to resize, it will not allow me to completely fill the screen.
I have tried the following to fix:
Reboot (sim card removed)
Uninstalled Next Launcher (and zooper) then re installed.
Tried other launchers (they all fixed the problem however I need Next as it is the only launcher I am aware of that allows you to literally place icons anywhere with ZERO grid). I even used Next Light and again, the problem was gone. Problem here, after the trial period you can no longer "hide Dock".
I am certain it is a Next Launcher issue but have yet to fix it. Im wondering...
Anyone else having this problem? Does anyone have any ideas and or does anyone know of any other launchers with the same freedoms?
Attached is a photo of my latest UI as an example as to why I need complete icon placement freedom as well as no boarders.
Thanks in advance.
