I've flashed a custom splashscreen logo and now my phone can't boot up (i don't see the splashscreen) but works the download mode. I've tried to reflash with odin the official firmware but doesn't work. Have you some ideas?

SOLVED: After a lot of attemps I've readed the source code of the boot changer and I've created a new flashable file from a s6 device for odin and it works!!!

I have installed cyanogenmod 7.1 on my Galaxy S (GT-I9000) but i didn't like it,
so i changed my mind and tried to switch to the ROM that i have backed up with CWM (I9000JVJP6)
and i used CWM recovery to recover that ROM but when finished the mobile is do not starting up ,just
the startup text "GALAXY S" and no thing else, i waited for an hour but nothing,i also tried installing
the same ROM (from samfirmware.com) using odin and seccessfully installed (PASS) but the mobile is still
can't boot the OS just that text at starting ,then i tried flashing the froyo rom "I9000JPJPM" but no luck and my mobile
is now dead .
Must i buy a new one? or any body can tell me what to do?

When you flash a rom from recovery, do you make a full wipe of data/cache partitions/dalvik cache?
Hi Everybody,
Can you help me please, my wife phone SGS2, is stuck on the Galaxy start screen, it keep rebooting every few seconds and return to the same screen. I can get to the Download mode but cant get to recovery mode. I have tried to flash stock rom (I9100XXLPQ_I9100OXALPQ_I9100XXLPQ_HOME.tar.md5) and (I9100XWLP7_I9100OXELP7_I9100XXLPS_HOME.tar) and even the CM9 Resurrection editon (cm-9-20120420-ODIN-galaxys2.tar). I tried the instruction in these threads (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1457458) and (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1916331). I couldnt fully understand the instruction in this thread about the PIT file but tried to flash the stock PIT file for my device with the other modem, code, CSC files through ODIN. in all my trials through ODIN the process will finish and I will get the PASS result and then the phone will restart to the same Samsung galaxy screen. can you help me please.

Did you try flashing just the Siyah or Dorimanx kernel using Odin and get to CWM recovery? It had worked for me once. Once in CWM recovery, I flashed one of the ROMS I knew was working for me and got my phone working.

Hi
I have a Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo GT-S5310...
The sad thing is that, a while ago it stopped working and now it's stuck on the boot screen (Samsung GALAXY POCKET Neo GT-S5310)
I have tried to perform a factory reset through the built-in recovery mode (volume up + home + power), but unfortunately, I couldn't access the recovery mode and the phone goes directly to the boot screen.
And since the only thing I could do was accessing the Download Mode, so I tried to recover it by installing an official firmware with Odin3_v3.07... but it didn't solve the problem...
So what would you guys suggest?
can't delete this reply... could an admin please do it?

actually the only way would be flashing the bootloader, unfortunately I couldn't find it anywhere... the official firmware (from sammobile or samsung-updates) does not contain the bootloader flash...

Cant boot to recovery
Hi sorry for the thread revival but I have run out of ideas. Same problem as OP. Odin flash is successful but stuck on samsung logo when trying to boot to recovery.
S5310i 4.4.2
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Anyone found a solution to this?
When you use Odin to flash, when it has finished, it always boot to recovery, there you have to wipe data and cache, then it works properly!

After flashing recovery with odin I am still stuck at the S5310 Neo splash screen unable to boot into recovery. Has this maybe got something to do with a conflict between android versions? As the S3510i comes with 4.4.2 stock, not 4.1.2.

Thanks for your help. Could you please explain more about this? Where would I find the pit file to flash? Do I tick re-partition in odin? Never flashed pit before. worried about bricking the device.
I am struggling to find the PIT file for my specific device (S5310i). its only on a handful of websites asking for paid subscriptions. Could anybody possible direct me to where I can find:
CORSICAVE3G_EUR_OPEN. Pit
I have downloaded the corsicass.pit and S5310_corsicass.pit but am not sure if this will work on any S5310 variant?
Hey guys,
So I tried to root my S6 Edge and it got stuck on startup, I tried flashing back to the stock ROM, for the SMG-925F, which is the phone I have. Odin fails when flashing the rom. On my phone it says SW REV. CHECK FAIL. DEVICE: , BINARY: 2.
I would really appreciate help as I just got this phone and it is quite frustrating.
Thanks for all the great work you guys do.
Do you have a custom recovery installed?
If so, upload zipped ROM via USB (MTP or USB host) boot to recovery, flash a 5.0.1 ROM from there, flash supersu afterwards and reboot system.
If no custom recovery , you can still try Samsung KIES software and use emergency recovery,
Hey. I have fixed my issue. I extracted my stock rom to a folder, deleted hidden.img/cm.bin/modem.bin and it let me use it. Can anyone explain why this worked? Thanks

The reason you probalby got stuck in starting screen is because you did not unlock the bootloader from developer setting which will cause it not to boot. But for the second part I don't know why odin does this; it seems like extracting the package let's you install the things that are actually needed.

Hello,
Thanks to all for this great community
I am not able fix this problem..
Problem description...
I was running BeyondRom custom rom based on oneui 2.1 and recently I flashed the latest android 11 stock firmware with ap magisk patched.
But after the odin flash my phone can only boot into recovery mode but the system not able to boot, it's just turned off when trying to boot into system. That means only black screen.
I tried many possibilities by flashing twrp and custom roms and also tried android 10 stock firmware. but nothing luck...
Please someone help me...
I have also tried the Nand erase and re-partition option in odin but no luck...
please someone help....

So try Odin & in n 90% of the cases it should work. If it doesn't, if you can still unlock your bootloader, do so & flash TWRP. Then flash this rom + kernel. It should work
