after roughly 2 hours of continuous use
It really depends on the task you're doing for 2 hours. Light browsing, around 33C.
35C, browsing forums and social media

Hi Guys
For those people thinking of getting the Flyer here's an example of some real life battery usage results.
I've got a BestBuy WIfI only Flyer and I'm running Paul O'Brien's HoneyComb 3.41.405.1 rom.
Without doing anything special (E.g. turning services off etc) I managed to get over 8 hours constant usage with the vast bulk of that time spent streaming videos from you tube.
I've been running the Flyer ON-STOP since full charge and I've got 8% battery left. For 6 1/2 of those hours I've been watching YouTube videos (Just left it playing through my playlists) so it's been using WiFi for at least that long out of the 8 hours.
Regards
8hrs sounds about right. I use mine for work & it last from 8am to about 4pm, using WiFi or 3G, streaming radio, or playing music. Surfing the net, emails, working on documents etc. The display is the biggest user of battery life. So if you give it a break & leave it in sleep mode for a few hours, it will last longer.
I noticed that with all I'm doing to save battery (GPS, Bluetooth, 3g off, brightness on the lowest setting in the browser and general) its not making much of a diference in my opinion. I even under clocked the cpu to 500mhz. All I want to do is webbrowse for an hour or so throughout the day and yet it seems to use more battery than I believe it needs to. I have about 35 minutes of display time and 10 minutes of web time and my phone has already lost 7%. This doesn't seem normal to me since I've lowered everything possible of the phone. Does web browsing use a lot of battery in general?
I typically use about 16-20% of battery for every 1 hour of screen time, so yeah your running about normal to a lower than normal drain level.
I try everything to save batterylife. Using the browser sadly is a good way to see your phone's battery life dissapear. Especially when browsing forums with white backgrounds.
I tend to agree with the other comments here. I usually see about 10% drain per hour of screen on when not doing anything data/processor intensive (i.e. reading an ebook) while my normal data is syncing in the background. I'd expect this to be improved if I turned data and radios off, but probably only by a percent or 2.
With more processor and data intensive stuff like browsing or watching movies, I would guess this would increase some. Extrapolating your data out would give you roughly 14% drain for an hour and 10 minutes of screen on with 20 minutes of browsing. Seems reasonable to me.
Hello.
Im curious if the battery on my GS7E is upto par. With a complete discharge, im getting around 5 hrs SOT and a total battery usage of 24 hrs. Im not a heavy user. I only browse the internet, whatsapp, messenger, fb, YouTube and some minor games. Out of 24 hrs, the WiFi is turned off for like 5 hrs. Other than that, either the WiFi is on or the Mobile Data. I have the G935FD model.
Any help will be well appreciated, thanks!
Once in a while, when your significant other yells at you, you might use your phone a bit less. Rate this thread to express how the Xiaomi Mi A1's battery performs under light use. A higher rating indicates that the device goes a long time when you're using the phone sparingly: no gaming or video/audio streaming, light web browsing, some calling and texts, etc.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Enough for 8 hours of SOT and 48 hours of usage. Could be much better though.
I'll get two days with light use. Short phone calls, some social media use, and Youtube while on the can. Even with heavy use (meaning lots of web browsing)...I'll still get more than 24 hours from the battery.
I get about 6 - 7 hours of SoT. Which easily gets me through 2 days.
I give this phone an "A1" for light use if you know what I mean...( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
okay I'll help myself with the door
4 days, 1.5 hrs charging OOTB FeelsGoodMan

Currently my phone is showing me are remaining battery life period of three days at this point of 74% charge but I definitely know that it is not three days but still it is a very good standby after 2 days with this massive 5000 mAH battery , You can expect this kind of life definitely
Easily 8plus hrs sot on light usage
Kinda 10 % per hour drain
Insane
is a one word. I think I can do better though.
This is my light usage. Actually forgot to take other parts' screenshots but you can also check my other messages on "screen on time" thread. My SoT record was 16.5 h and this was my phone idle record.

11 days standby with SOT of 10h. And yes I actually do use the phone. Everything disabled when not in use. Mainly 4G browsing, phone calls, music
I am about to buy The Max Pro M1 as a secondary phone only for gaming, watching youtube and email. However, I'd heard that there are some idle draining issues. Is it fixed already ?
Big thank.
On light usage at least 3 days without charge and 11-12 hours of SOT.
Easily lasts a day with full day data on and full night gaming upto 2 am. I rarely use charger before 2 am. I think they did a pretty good job on that one.
