I have the kdz file and want to create a tar file so i can edited it with android kitchen. Does anybody know how i can do that?

I am unsure of how to use dzcreate to process all my .img files into a .dz file format. Is anyone familiar with the process of dzcreate and willing to help explain it to me please? After I get my files into a dz format I will edit the vs880.dll. Flash file to be compatible with the D-631. then i can compile a kdz file format.

hello, i used WindowsLGFirmwareExtractor to extract a kdz file to a dz file. then i merged into a system.img file. then opened that file in ext2explore. there is an app folder with all the apps in it. what i would like to know is first, can i delete the apps i dont want, and second, re-create a kdz file and flash that. and how do i make a new file to flash? would i delete the whole folder, or just the apk inside the folder?
I am trying to extract an OEM LG V600TM kdz file using an LG Firmware Extract tool. I have tried four different ROMs, and each has a file like "V60010x00user-signed-ARBONA2" file where the .dz file should be. If I try to extract the ARBONA2 file as if it were a .dz file, the program immediately aborts and the entire window closes.
I have searched for hours for "ARBONA2 file" with no results, but I can't believe I'm the only one who has run into this. I've added the ".dz" suffix to the file name with the same results. Does anyone here know what this ARBONA file is, why it is in the .dz file location, and/or how to work with it to extract the rest of the ROM?

is outdated. Try using some python scripts out there for the newer firmware.
