Most of the boot loop issues people are experiencing are the phone over heating. My phone was boot looping and I put it in to the freezer (inside a zip lock bag) and the phone stopped boot looping and starting working.
Sadly, he fix only last for like 3/5 minutes until it over heats again.
Any idea on howto fix over heating?

Hi, I know there might be some people posted the similar problem as mine before, but I couldn't find any, therefore I start a new thread, please don't blame me.
Just now my phone suddenly show that no sim card detected, then I restarted my phone (by long press "lock" button and select "Restart").
After the phone back to my launcher after restart, a few seconds later it restart by itself again, and continue this loop forever...
HELP!!! Please advice me what to do? I am hoping for a solution that will not required factory reset... please~~~
Thank you in advance.

Bad Move
I noticed that after removin battery while phone is on, on LS8 and LSD Roms.. the phone doesn't boot anymore unless you do a full data wipe !!! I could reproduce it on different custom Roms... didn't test stock yet.. Any comments ??
I did face this issue once. Since then i have not tested it again.
I also got that, when i removed my battery it doesnt boot anymore. Sometimes it crash when its on and reboot automatically. All i can see after reboot is black screen past the Samsung i9100 and the traingle.
(sorry for bad english)
First, here is android development forum, not discussion
Second, there are several threads in general which discuss about bootloop problem on xxls8 and xxlsd
You are right.. didn't see that thread on general section.. Please close it ...
Today I had same problem: remove battery without shutdown first = bootloop on XXLSD neatrom lite 14.1.
FIX
- Reboot recovery
- Wipe Cache
- Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Reboot

We take the battery off just to check if we still got the bug and we get stuck in the boot. Why?
Because it can happen in a lot of different situations that you cannot control and i can just tell you a few... Phone drops and battery jumps, battery gets drain forcing the phone to shut down without having time for a proper shuting down, freeze by any aplication or anormal situation that can only be solved be removing battery, the need of switching batteries in case you have 2 or more( some ppl got this boot hang by changing batt even when phone is shut down), etc, etc....
BTW fatjoez afterall ur procedure solved my issue, it just took more time than normal to boot, but i wasnt stuck afterall
Thank you very much! I could not reproduce the boot hang issue anymore after do what you said...

Hello,
I have a "problem" .. because of a bad sleep the last days I could recognise that my Honor 7 is rebooting every night while charging ... I do not have to fill in the SIM Pin or so.. But every widget is "loading" after the first unlock of the day..
Does anybody else has that "problem" ? I can go with that unless it is happening while I do not use that phone in the night... Hopefully that behaviour will not change to the day time...
Thanks for yoour input
If you recently updated to B370 or B371 do a factory reset and problem will be solved. I had same issue.
Does someone no of a way without the factory reset?

Try wiping Dalvik-Cache first before doing a factory reset, it might solve the problem.
Did you solve the problem?

There is no problem in factory reset.
Just backup with phone app, reset and restore. Phone will be as before. Quick and easy.
Check under Settings> Smart Assitance> Scheduled power on/off... If it's on .. Then turn it off
@millhaus1985 is your device rooted?, have you installed any custom ROM?, is your bootloader unlocked?, Please answer these, then only we can get a good overview of your problem.

Hey everyone, E2303... I recently replaced the screen because it was broken, but now it boot loops. I can restore to a different ROM using Flash tools and it comes up fine after, but during the setup of the phone (choosing language, etc...) it reboots and goes back to boot loop.
So strange. Anyone one know what could be causing this?
Thank you!

When flashing ftf, have you tried wiping the system and data?
Yes, and the phone boots up normal. I recently put it in the freezer and it actually makes the phone work for a while, and the it reboots. I think it is the processor over heating, any idea how to fix that?

Well unfortunately I have no idea what to do now :/ Could be hardware related (maybe). Sorry man but I think it's better to go back to your store and ask for a repair..
Install Latest OTA (device is untouched) Now stuck @ Samsung logo. This will be the 4th time I have had to do a factory reset of this device. Any other suggestion. I mean if every time it power cycles I have to do a factory reset what is the point in having the device.

Same exact thing happened to me too. I was trying to hold off on installing a custom recovery and OS until things got stable. I can't believe how crappy this tablet is for the cost. I mean it doesn't even have some of the features of the S7 phone and that a 2 year old device. Really disappointed

You need to give some updates time to boot.
Some updates make major changes to the firmware.
Unless you have waited at least ten minutes I wouldn't assume that the update has failed.

Then I would say you have a rogue app installed that is causing the issue if you have to factory reset after each reboot.
I take it everything boots up fine after a factory reset?

Yes it boots fine after factory reset. The reason why I said after a power cycle it fails is because its not only after a firmware upgrade.. As most people know this device has a battery drain bug. My device has drained the battery to the point it turns off. After fully recharging it, it will not boot past the Samsung logo. That has happened twice. And twice it has failed to boot after FW upgrades. It has successfully done 1 FW upgrade as far as I can remember. As for a rogue app... I don't have any apps that I have not had on other devices.

If you have already re-flashed the firmware with no improvement then it must be a hardware issue. If it's still under warranty I would file a warranty claim.
Yeah I just restarted it and it bricked again!! I am so done with this POS. I have had rooted devices more reliable.
