Failed to mount "/system", can anyone help? - Xperia Z2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey!
I installed the most recent version of mm existenz and the latest twrp z2 recovery. I was able to flash multiple mods including xposed before I got this error when I try to flash anything in twrp.
it says: Failed to unmount "/system" (Device or resource busy)
Anyone knows how to fix this?
thanks in advance!

Flash another kernel.

Huawei Mate 10 Pro | TWRP v3.2.1-0 bricked my device

Hello folks!
I have a problem. I installed LineageOS onto my device, to get off of EMUI and all the bloatware. Afterwards I wanted to get root access. So I downloaded the version of TWRP, 3.2.1-0, and flashed it through fastboot-mode. I was really happy, when TWRP finally booted, but now my system seems to be bricked. I cannot boot into my system and if I try to wipe my data I always get the error message:
Code:
[COLOR="Red"]Failed to mount '/vendor' (Invalid argument)[/COLOR]
I also tried to recover through eRecovery, but when the system tried to get the info package from the server I just get an error and it cancels.
I really hope someone can help me!

Did you flash LineageOS with fastboot and booted to it before trying to root?
If not, flash back stock recovery and do a factory reset from there.

Yes I did, but I think I found a solution. I'll try it out, maybe I have luck.

Problem with flashing ROM above Android 6

Hi guys,
I cannot flash any ROM above Android 6. I have TWRP 2.8.7 installed and I can't flash any other version neither with fastboot nor directly in TWRP.
Rooting with SuperSU is possible in TWRP but not with Magisk or flashing any ROM.
This is how I tried to flash the ROM:
1. Boot into recovery
2. Make factory reset, wipe dalvik cache/cache, wipe system/data
3. Install ROM from SD-Card
4. Error message: E: unknown command [log]
E: Error executing updater binary in zip /external_sd/AospExtended.zip
Error flashing zip /external_sd/AospExtended.zip
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thank you so much for any help.
I installed TWRP 3.0.1.0 and I was able to install LineageOS.

Can't install custom roms on curtana

Hello. I've been trying to install a custom rom on my phone (9s Global) but both TWRP and OrangeFox give me Error 1 and I can't do anything to fix the problem. My phone is running Android 11. OF gives me an obscure message but TWRP gives me a fail error when mounting some partitions.
I tried to install it again but OrangeFox didn't even give me an error code, just a simple error when installing the zip file.
Is the recovery supposed to mount the system partition? I can't select it in OrangeFox and I can't do anything to solve my problem.

Is it possible to flash a Custom ROM using adb even though I can't mount system and vendor partition using custom recovery

Custom recovery: Orangefox R11_2.
Device: redmi Note 9s.
Before I flashed the miui using mi flash tool, I flashed build.prop file into the system and vendor partition, the SUPER option. Very dumb and desperate move by me.
But I got errors when using the mi flash tool so i had to flash it by using the fastboot.bat file and platform tools. On the unlock status on my developer options, it says my phone is locked but it is not. Because I can flash a Custom recovery.
When I try to flash the custom rom (after using the mi flash tool) through the recovery, I get the errors
Unable to mount /system (invalid argument)
Unable to mount /vendor (invalid argument)
So would I be able to flash the custom rom through ABD sideload?
Also I there a fix to my current problem?
Thank you.
