Stock kernel works fine, you'll need to talk to the developer of elementalx (flar2).
Does stock kernel force encrypt?

I'll answer myself. It DOES force encrypt so beware folks. Using custom kernels breaks sound but will avoid force encryption.

I was on unencrypted Resurrection Remix 7.1.1, wiped system, data, cache, clean flashed this rom with OpenGapps 7.1.1 pico, reboot and it forced encrypt, wiping my sd card completely--including about 9 TWRP backups of other ROMS, all data on SD card (luckily I have some backed up on my PC), forcing me to start over, encrypting my phone.
The ROM works great though on it's stock kernel; however, when trying to use Elemental, Elite, or Singularity kernels, sound is broken.
Curious how you avoid encryption?
It may have been a fluke but I flashed the ROM with pure Nexus mini dynamic gapps done nothing unusual!! Can't remember which ROM I was coming from either nitrogen or cypheros.

I don't wipe system after factory reset just dalvic/art cache and cache.

usually thats just standard for most people... (me anyway) . doesnt hurt... every time i flash i restore data with only apps that i kinda need to (mainly too lazy to re sign in to them) like facebook, xda etc. and never had had any issues. ever.... even back in GB days.
side note: a HUGE +1 on the vault boy avatar... im pretty close to ordering a vault 77 hoodie from bethesda. and a thumbs up bobblehead best game ever man...

6.0:
Phone won't power on with charger connected. A CM issue, i am looking into it. -- trying to fix right now.
5 GhZ WI-FI may disconnect sometimes. A CM issue.
EAP-SIM not working.
System UI may make the whole phone slow and unresponsive after prolonged use. Restarting it via power menu fixes it for some time. Looking for a fix...
GPS not working if there is no internet connection. Fixed by setting CAPABILITIES to 0x31 in /system/etc/gps.conf. WIll be included in the rom later.
5.1.1:
d2tw stops working after some amount of time.
Workaround: restart d2tw either via settings, either via "echo '1 1 0 0' > /sys/devices/virtual/input/lge_touch/lpwg_notify". I still have no idea why and when it happens...
Sound recording quality in AMR-NB is pretty bad. That affects sound messages in Whatsapp and such.
Stock kitkat and earlier lollipop roms use AMR-WB with 22050 sampling rate and high bitrate, instead of 8000 SR on AMR-NB. BTW, latest stock roms also use amr-nb and produce baaad sound...
AUX is not working for some people. An old issue, most probably related to resistance thresholds.
Update 19.10.15: Probably needs stock drivers to work properly. Will try to fix.
FAQ:
Q: Will you support people who use Xposed?
A: Only if you provide very detailed bug report, which proves what neither Xposed, nor it's modules are at fault.
Q: How do i report a bug? What should i do before reporting a bug?
A:
0) Search google and CM-13 XDA threads for this problem - a lot of ROM's issues stem from AOSP/Cyanogen, and there may already be a working fix. Or a commit that has to be cherrypicked.
1) Do a factory reset and check if the problem remains.
What a proper bug report should contain:
1) RR version and build date.
2) What is the problem?
3) What are the exact steps needed to reproduce it from a clean flash?
4) Additional info. A logcat, screenshots, videos, anything that may help.
You should understand that without that info I, most likely, will not be able to reproduce this bug and fix it.
Q: Can i use other GAPPS packages?
A: You may try. There's no guarantee that they will work, however.
Q: What's the best config for this rom? CPU/GPU/IO scheduler, readahead value, etc?
A: You should disable developer options, unless you are a developer. Most used features from them (Advanced reboot, force GPU compositing, animation duration) were transferred to configuration->button settings, configuration->performance and configuration->animations. Everything else should be left stock.
Q: Should i use CTT mod? Or a custom kernel? Or any other performance mod with this rom?
A: I believe that you shouldn't. At least, try vanilla RR for 3-4 days before installing such mods. They are double-edged: they increase performance but decrease stability and battery life.
Q: What about battery life?
A: I personally lose 0.5-0.7% per hour of standby (With LTE, sync and Bluetooth enabled), and have 4.30-5.30 h of SOT while browsing on LTE. I consider these results to be quite good.
Q: When i change resolution/density with my favorite program, my phone reboots! Why?
A: Because RR reloads SystemUI after successful 'wm density'. It is needed to fix navbar&statusbar after dpi change. Solution: use 'wm size widthxheight && wm density xxx' from terminal. Example: 'wm size 1080x1920 && wm density 340'. WARNING: do not do this from root user... wm won't work as root.
P.S. - some newer programs, such as ScreenShift, are bypassing this. You may not need to use terminal.
Q: What about stock features? Quick Circle, Quick Remote, LG Health, LG Camera, "Phone as Bluetooth speaker", etc.?
A: Currently, only "Double tap to wake", "Double tap on lockscreen and statusbar to sleep" and "Hide navbar in certain apps" (It's possible to set up expanded desktop this way) are included. You can find ports of Quick Circle and Quick Remote in "Apps and Themes" forum. Everything else is not included, and will probably never be. And yeah, there is no 4k recording. Or laser focus...
Q: How do i make "Double tap on empty space in launcher to sleep" work?
A: If you are using Nova Prime: go to "Nova settings->Gestures->Doule tap->Nova actions->Screen off". If you are using other launcher, download Screen Off and Lock and some launcher with a doubletap gesture. Make it launch "Applications -> Screen off".
Q: What camera should i use?
A: They all will have the same picture quality. I personally use inbuilt SnapCamera.
Q: How do i unlock all Snap camera's settings?
A: Press many times on "Red eyes" option in Photo mode, until a toast appears.
Q: How do i disable LED in DnD mode?
A: Go to "Settings->Notifications->Do Not Disturb->Priority only allows:", uncheck "Notification light".
Q: What toolchain and flags do you use?
A: UBER 5.x.x (Always latest one) with all Archi's optimisations - graphite, etc.

Only for D855. Other G3 variants have their own maintainers.
Well, i found he code which hides ambient display activity.
The condition for hiding came from AOSP code:

In future builds i will include that line in build.prop.
Rom works great like every update gratz. Only one problem i have like every update so many months this fail problem still exist without fix. Every time to close the screen after phone calls dt2w dont work and need check and uncheck to works again. Dont exist any fix for that?

ResurrectionRemix is in development and has several small bugs and missing translations.
Complaints/demands/bug reports without logs will be ignored.
Explain how to reproduce the bug and attach logcat and dmesg (if you had a random reboot, also attach last_kmsg). If you don't know how to get those, you can use Catlog app. Please, do not report bugs if you use any kind of mods (like xposed) or third party kernel.

A) Go to Settings > About phone, and press five times on Build number.
Q) How do I update GApps? (Also useful if you have GApps related problems).
A) Reboot to recovery. Wipe System, Cache and Dalvik Cache. Install ROM + GApps. (Yep, at a time) Reboot.
Q) Does this ROM support F2FS?
A) Yes, it does.
Q) My device bootloops when I flash Boeffla, help me plz ;_;
A) 1 - Clean flash ROM along with GApps
2 - Boot up the system and configure SuperSU (update the app and update binaries) - THIS IS IMPORTANT!
3- Reboot to recovery and flash boeffla kernel without wiping anything.
4 - Boot up the system and that's it.
Q) This WiFi related random drops and disconnections is annoying me AF, what should I do?
A) Copy the file: WCNSS_qcom_cfg.ini from the original oxygen or another oxygen based ROM like Skydragon or Oxyslim, and then paste it in the same directory in the mm based ROM(The file is in partition0/system/etc/wifi).
Q) My device ID bounces back to Unknown when I flash Boeffla kernel. What's going on?
A) Boeffla kernel ships in the form of a bootimage. Which will have init_oneplus2.cpp parsed which overwrites the existing RR modified one and the whole ID fetching process is broken leaving you with "Unknown" string.

How to dodge TZ assertion errors and flash RR like a BOSS?
1. Make sure you're coming from either latest OOS or CM Nightlies [Reason: Requires updated Firmware]
Use this switcher if you're lazy OOS_TO_H20S
2. Make sure you have TWRP official
3. BANKS or TBO GApps recommended (Links given in OP)
4. Latest build downloaded without any interruption(Causes bad download resulting in non-flashable zip)
Steps to Flash:
- Take a nandroid backup
- Recommended - Full wipe(except internal) and factory reset
- Flash ROM using TWRP recovery
- Flash Gapps
- Reboot.
- Enjoy!
Pro Tip: DO NOT flash Xposed or any other mods before the first boot. It will/may cause bootloops and you end up cursing the ROM. (If you do flash ignoring my message, you're on your own)

No but to download whole 400+mb just to fix few bugs or implement new feature after every update is too tedious and not everyone has unlimited package and fast bandwidth to download and keep up with the rom.

I'm really sorry for that. But APN should be set by default by the system. I'll fix this issue soon. Sorry for the inconvenience

This thread has been pretty quiet maybe no bugs have been found. I'm really enjoying the ROM very solid so far and on par battery life with other roms if not better. Been my daily driver since it was released ?

I'm honestly shocked at how good this rom is but there's just one thing. Why are there two camera apps? Not a big deal because I can just disable one but why?
