IIRC, yes. I guess having the app installed and then update will give you that feature.

Today I connected my phone to a charger and I received a message that Battery Care starts to control the charging process! Not sure if this is because I rebooted or because it takes a week or so to recognize my typical charging patterns.

it depends on your usage. i've got something like 5h 30min(max) of sot, but at least 4h 30min using mobile data only, 3h30 of sot and 3h30min of calling. but i don't play games
I am pretty satisfied with the settings I made. As you can see on my screenshot, I am now running since 07:00 AM yesterday and got 36% left. I used it relatively normal, no gaming or continuously usage for about an hour or so.
What I did was install xposed, greenify and amplify. I activated stamina mode and changed the CPU governor settings to on-demand. Also I forced gpu rendering. No lags or slowdowns at all.

Hi, can you confirm the following? Before updating to nougat you installed the battery care apk (not as a system app) and after the update you found Battery Care App on Nougat? Thank you
I think that Battery Care can run only on devices with USB type C port..

Probably some kind of wake lock. Use betterbattery stats or wakelock detector and see if any of your apps are keeping your phone from idling.
@rahulbrand
If your phone heats after booting that means that u have a lot of multimedia files to scan. Process named like android_proces_media will keep your CPU in maximum frequency until he scans all of the multimedia.
And one more questions.
Which rom are u using ?
And i saw internet speed icon on your statusbar. I now which app are u using (Internetspeed.apk). Please uninstall it for now. It definitly wakes up system very often.

google Xperifirm ...... install ...... download firmware for your specific Xperia model
If i am rooted, have xposed + some modules installed, and have adoptive storage, in wich some of my apps installed, can i then update my system with flashtool, without ****ing it all up?
i must admit, update is very good and optimize, ii downloaded customized CH, for switzerland market, have factory unlocked m4, works like a charm. it is faster , and smoother than previous update. adoptable storage still works... good sony, good
Which version are you using all?
I downloaded the customized US, so far ive seen nothing new feels like same

Yes, between 25-35% more battery consumption that stock Roms. I used it today all day, and I arrive home with 65-70% and today 41%. With the same use.

Did you try it in efficiency mode under battery settings? Under clocked? Greenify?
All stock really has going for it battery-wise is it keeps the small cores capped(under clocked), and has built in greenify which closes apps that aren't being used.
Not to mention generally all Roms are the same at battery life, it's the kernel and performance settings, especially which CPU governor and clock speeds, plus any apps like greenify and amplify etc that change the battery life between Roms.

battery draining in idle miui
Well, that's weird. I have the phone since 2 months and I don't have any battery issue.
When you in 'settings > battery and performance > power > battery use', you can see what app causes the most battery drain. Try to identify which one is at fault.
If the problem still persists, maybe you should consider sending back the phone for a replacement.
