My Pendo 7" PNDP44QC7BLU is locked on the Pendo startup screen.
I can get to recovery, but resets etc do not work, and it returns to the same stuck screen.
It will not communicate to my Win 10 pc, even though I have the MTK drivers installed to the pc
ADB or any other program will not communicate between the pc or tablet.
The device has an MTK SOC, the official PendoPad site has it down as an MTK 8127
Pendo do not have any firmware downloads available to the public from their site.
In recovery mode, it says it is ALPS.KK1.MP10.V1.
I have googled myself silly trying to find the same rom to to download and try to update it by sdcard/phoenix...but have been unable to see it after searching for a full day.
Does anyone have any links that may be of assistance please?
Many thanks
Thanks
Asking again please..any help available?
Thank you.
Can anyone recommend me another site that may know anything about Pendo pads please?
Thank you

I don't know if you have gotten a driver yet i too was having the same problem. I also tried to do a tutorial on this site that needed me to edit the inf file and it didn't work for me. I am going to put the link to this download I found on that thread too. Anyway I used this driver and if you get the error message box appear click "install driver anyway". It worked for me I hope it helps you if you are still having trouble.

Hello, how did you solve it? Please any help will do.
I accidently erased the firmware off my Sky 5.5W and I have searched everywhere for it.
My computer recognises it but cant find the firmware .
Does anyone know where I can find it or if I can use different firmware?
Thanks
can you tell me the current condition of your device?
Like is it stuck on boot logo (boot loop)
or is it bricked?
I don't think it's bricked as the laptop still finds it.
try checking this link out
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1936747&page=2
also like my replies, its a great encouragement if you do so
Will it work with an mtk device.? I tried it but can find the proper software for it. The files the qfl asks for aren't apart of the files I have.
Well honestly I have never worked with MTK devices but I know what you should do.
Now if that's the case you may download SPFT (Smart Phone Flash Tool) and find the appropriate drivers for your MTK device and then flash the ROM you want to (I prefer the stock room).
I hope this will help you.
...I'm in similar position with a Platinum 5. Please let me know whether you found ROM for this device and if so where, and I'll let you know what I find out if you need. I think I'll try to get something from SKY themselves so wish me luck.

LEARNPAD LPQ-497W
Has learnpad software on it & I would like to remove this & just use it as a standard android tablet.
Assume it is rooted to run the learnpad software.
Sadly I have not been able to enter recovery mode to reset it. Have tried everything I can think of.
Tablet has no volume up or down buttons
Have tried everything & am running out of ideas.
Somebody must have encountered this issue before.
Any ideas or help would be much appreciated
Kindest regards

Hi there,
I just finshed reading the info about the tablet since they are using their own version of android it maybe impossible to get the exact rom however you can unlock the tablet to access restricted features.
And no the tablet is not rooted.
try this website about unlocking the tablet : https://support.learnpad.com/portal/kb/articles/locking-and-unlocking-learnpad
try this website to root your tablet it may or may not work : www.kingoapp.com
Hi there. Thank you for replying.
I cannot unlock the tablet as per your link because to do this you need the original owners login details.
I am a second user.
Tablet seems to be really locked down. Cannot even access the recovery mode which is probably what I need to do.
Seems such a waste of good hardware to maybe have to bin this tablet just because basic android cannot be installed on it.
Really appreciate your help & advice. Many thanks.
Please help

Hi all
I've managed to brick my Tb3 - not sure how, hadn't used it for a while, turnd it on & it is just stuck on the Lenovo loading screen. Tried booting into recovery but not working.
From what I've read, I need either the stock rom or at least the scatter.txt file to load into SP Flash tool.
I've googled everywhere but can't find either.
Does anyone have a link to, or can you provide 1 or both of the above? Ive tried requesting access to the google drive from Motojunkie01 but not had a response. Looks like his account is disabled.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/guide-lenovo-tab3-8-tb3-850f-t3559786
Please help - really need to get his up & running as it has some data I need on it.
Thanks
Dave

Dave I know this is a super-late reply to this thread, but I just recently found an extremely simple way to unbrick the TB3-850F using the official Lenovo-Moto Smart Assistant (LMSA). If you, or anybody else reading this thread needs guidance on this, I'll be glad to help.
