hey everyone, so I unlocked my verizon touch pro and flashed a new rom onto it, but the rom was faulty so i put it back to stock and now i'm trying to re-lock it but everytime i run the relocking program on my comp with my phone active synced to it, it goes to tricolor screen then goes to status bar and goes to 100% but then a message comes up that says invalid model or invalid model id, i have to return the phone to verizon in like 10 days because it had a bad keyboard so i got a replacement but i never relocked it. could it be that it needs to have service in order for it to be relocked? please help and thanks
Did you also flash a different radio? If so you will have to flash a SHIPPED (verizon stock....not ported) radio. Then try to relock again.
Hope this helps.
idk, i flashed it to the black dragon rom but that wasn't working very well so i flashed it back to the stock rom. idk what to do, if i send it back being unlocked they'll charge me for the phone, do you have a link to the verizon cdma touch pro stock rom and i'll try it again

Hi my huawei y300 is bricked from what ive read and tried to understand.
my phone was unbranded , i unlocked bootloader from huawei code, flashed twrp, so basically rooted + superuser
then flashed custom rom. wanted to sell it to so , tried to force update the offical firmware for my phone.
gets to 2/2 then fails.
Found out needed to blank the imei and back it up, did that then wiped the device , tried again , only a progress bar no status , stops 1/3 of the way, tried other offical roms but still nothing.
Phone now only boots to fast mode, cannot unlock bootloader as its relocked it self, cannot get into twrp recovery.
Truly Bricked? if so in the bin it goes, i only paid £60 whats the point in sending it off.
I was flashing a google play edition rom onto my phone and when i did that i also had the harman karmon speakers flashed and my phone went into the HTC boot screen. The screen never loaded into the phone so i waited for it to die. After it died i went into the bootloader and tried to boot into recovery to wipe the phone, but when i got into the bootloader my phone said CID incorrect
"press the power button to restart". I did this and it just does the same thing, never loads into the phone and always says CID incorrect. please help. My phone is rooted, has s-off, and unlocked bootloader. any suggestions would be appreciated
If you installed HK by the following thread, it says right there it doesn't work with GPE: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2737498
Or did you follow some other process?
Is anything else showing up on the bootloader screen, is it trying to install an update? I don't think I've seen this before, where it says incorrect CID in bootloader, unless its trying to install something.
Hai I have been using Moto e 1st gen for 3 years. I have left my mobile fully charged in a cupboard before 2 months. I found it and charged for a lot of time and it showed me the bootlooder and 0 charging screen. My mobile is rooted and run a 5.1 CyanogenMod os.
I figured it have drained and booted the fastboot menu and charged for a while. It showed that "device is locked . Status code :0". I managed to flash the stock ROM but it didn't because of battery low.
After 3 hours the battey turned green and I was able to run the 'fastboot devices' command. I tried flashing the stock ROM but it's only flashing the partition,Moto boot, logo. Rest of the of the files return "preflash validation failed" .
I think unlocking if the only thing left but I'm getting 'could not get unlock data'... Plz help me and I might have accidentally locked the bootloader during the stock ROM flashing "mfastboot OEM lock begin"
I'm totally new here. If you can help me plz write in detail...:good:
