This awesome Mod is not made by me,
I just tested it on Kenzo.
The original developer is @PrathameshMS
ITS BETTER THAN SNAPDRAGON CAMERA AND I THINK ALL DEVs SHOULD USE IT AS DEFAULT BECAUSE OF ITS FEATURES AND IT'S UI.
I know it's their wish :silly:
IMPORTANT:

Remove scenes
Rearrange settings
Unlock hidden options
Use Video HDR
Adjust Saturation, Contrast and Exposure
New Features Introduced:
HDR+ Added.
Touch AF / AEC added.
New 3 Redesigned Icons.
Auto Exposure Bracketing.
And many More.
Picture Settings
All the recommended settings are given as Default. If you mess up things, just restore defaults.
How to install CameraNextMod:
Just download the zip.
Reboot to Recvery.
Flash the zip and have fun.
CHANGELOG:
As many users said that their stock Camera should not be uninstalled, he fixed Panorama with different Base and now you can enjoy sweetness of CameraNextMod with your Stock Camera as well.
Now coming to the Changelog:
1) The Focus Ring's Radius is reduced now. So it looks more pleasant to focus.
2) Fixed Storage Issues. (Some users faced it).
3) Added Touch AF/AEC Feature.
4) Added HDR+.
5) Added Auto Exposure Bracketing.
6) Added Option to disable beeping countdown sound.
Coming to Video Sections:
1) He is also trying to add Camera like denoise, saturation and all those **** to Video Section as well.
2) Accordingly, Added White Balance.
3) Added Power Shutter.
4) Fixed Video Duration issues and 24 hours video issue.
5) Now you will be able to record High Speed/Slow Motion.
6) Still Time Lapse is present even if above feature is present.

Try other roms, for me everything working in other roms.

Well, I was using it a years ago, I know its good camera app, but I think its need more improvement in focus ring, sometimes AF touch is missed from the object I want to focused, CMIIW. Google Camera or FooteJ is way better IMO

It will work, it will not replace your stock camera and you can use both the cameras.

Try it, it will work as it works with flyme os too.

Yes, it will work on any ROM, but not on NOS

why not on NOS?
My device has fpc sensor.
When I was using miui , I could use the fingerprint sensor to take selfies without setting up fingerprint security.
Thus time though with RR, I cant do that. I have used apps like dactyl and click with finger but nothing helps.
Anyone please, any solution ??

Same problem here.
I have also FPC FP, I AM ON RESURRECTION REMIX 5.8.3.
THERE IS NO OPTION IN CAMERA APP FOR ENABLE FINGERPRINT TO TAKE PHOTO.
ANYONE PLEASE GIVE SOLUTION.
Install Dactyl from Google Play. This app enable this feature in Custom Roms. Work for me in RR Nougat and AOSP Oreo. You have activate the feature from accessibility?

Hello, everyone! I'm using miui 9 stable currently, and I'm thinking of using Viper OS. I wanna you guys told me about its pros and cons compared to stock rom. I'm a little bit afraid about the camera. Do API2 and Google cam works fine on it? Thanks.

The things you will miss in custom roms are :
1) miui's awesome notification. *sarcasm*
2) white flaslight *its not a bug but a feature *
3) native video calling support from dialer * no use to me * ?

I planned to do it but I'm waiting to be sure that the ROM is not too much bug

the gestures work, it must be on the firmware oreo, there is a small bug in the ambient display , at least at home, you tried to make a wipe cache after installation?

Is there a screen calibrate option so that i can lower the RGB values?
It would be the rom of first choice for me, if moto cam would work propper (Video capturing and save to sd don`t work)

Both not working and i won't use both, on screen gestures are working,
Pick up and hand wave ambient display working
Video recording working
Bluetooth working
NFC OK
HDR + Working in Gcam
But the one thing i am stuck at each ROM except another ROM is slow charging...
How is the battery life compared with pixel experience or another rom?
Now everything works without problems. Great job. It happens to be the one that I use all day. Very good work.

I use Open GApps 9.0 stock -> However, the camera app does not work. So I disabled the Google Camera App and installed the Motorola Camera app which works without problems so far.
The only thing not working is the fingerprint sensor, I cannot use it to unlock my phone and there is no option for it in the settings. Any idea?

First flash oreo Stock via fastboot than install Pie your fingerprint sensor will work..
You can skip Bootloader and partition.gpt, if in future you want to go back to Nougat...
There is no stock oreo as far as I know. This phone had the latest stock nougat 7.1.1.
Why would flashing with stock oreo help if you wipe /system and /data?

Which kernels could you please recommend? I tried NoGravity and Twisted, and still battery drains like crazy, about 15% per hour of usage

+1 even I would be happy if these are posted in the OP.
Try illusion latest, heard heats less
For heating and drain you can switch governor to conservative and modify parameters. Then switch back to shedutil. Runs fine for me, no heating or drain so far. It's just a workaround, but solves the problem temporary till reboot. I posted a guide on telegram channel.
Bugs so far:
-Kernel heating and drain because cores runs at highest frequency (use workaround)
-DT2W (fixed with second guide from op and automated with Tasker)
-Ambient display for notification

Excellet ROM but particularly my banking app is not working even with Magisk hide. May be its not a famous bank that's why. But I have to use my banking app which is important to me so switched back to the Stock Miui.
