Great work!! Nice boot animation. Although I would like you to slow down the pulsing waves a little bit but other than that its nice.

Because I love Transformers I continue to make themes and mods Transformer orientated. This is a boot animation made from a stop animation video that YouTube user "asiguido" made http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCGAzj-tRpI&list=FLciMRQ-of Megatron turning into Galvatron in the Transformers movie of 1986. (Everyone should check out his awesome video). It is a flashable zip. Download and flash through recovery. Below is a animated gif I made, so you can preview the boot animation prior to downloading. It is not the exact spped of the boot animation, but close. Also there is a video of me previewing it in a boot animation previewer on my desktop, since I didn't have a camera on hand to record it booting on my phone. Hope you enjoy. Please if you like it, hit the thanks. I got like 20 different themes and mods on XDA with a lot of downloads and no thanks. Help me out . thank you.
Download:
Megatron-2-Galvatron boot animation.
NOTICE: file is bigger than expected. I'm not sure why, but if anyone knows how to shrink a boot animation down without losing quality PM me.
Edit: Thanks to dased14 The file is much smaller at only 4.77 mb. He taught me something in the process.

Hi guys, just a quick request here.
I find the boot animation of PAC-roms a bit "too much". I remember back in the day the rom came with a more minimalistic animation, with just the PAC-rom logo. I know, it's a matter of taste, but I think a built-in option to change boot animation would be awesome. Also, an option to change or remove the shutdown animation. Those are the two things that really annoy me about this rom, they're just too much.
Attached is a pic of the animation I'm talking about. Something that minimalistic would be awesome.
Thanks for the awesome rom. Cheers!

I have to agree on that
I like the new bootanimation, but I love the old simplistic one
A setting to choose bootanimation would be nice
Yeah, I don't think that's going to happen...

Boot animation is located in system/media. pull that from your device, and delete all of the images in there except for 1. now you have a minimalist boot animation.

Boot animation is not the problem, you can flash any boot animation you like. The shutdown animation can be removed, but it would be nice if they include a built-in option to do so.
ditto
i second to that...the animation is just too hollywood :laugh:
How to remove shutdown animation?

Could you possibly explain how to remove the shut-down animation or where it is located?.
I have been trying to find out where it is located with no success.
Much appreciated

I don't want to take responsibility for any bootloops so make sure you have a backup of your original boot animation before replacing it. I imagine it will only work on watches with a 400x400 resolution, but I'm sure it could be scaled down or up easily. Let me know if you need any help.
This isn't the official Wear OS boot animation. Just something I made myself for fun. I'm not even sure if one exists, but if anyone has it, I would like it .
[Edit]
I downloaded the latest Wear OS preview emulator and got the official boot animation from that, but your welcome to the old one if you prefer it.
Download
Old loop with custom animation
Official boot animation
What does the custom one do
Removes Verizon Logo animation from boot for Wear 24
Leaves the default animating color loop animation
Replaces the Android Wear logo with the Wear OS logo
How to
Download the latest NavExplorer from the play store. https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.turndapage.navexplorer
Open settings from the navigation drawer
Toggle the Root switch
Start a Wireless transfer
Paste the zip over the old one in Media
Reboot and you should see the new animation

also you will probably need to chmod the zip file when you replace it. this can be accomplished in TWRP recovery
Hi. I've seen a lot of forum threads really dead, so I'm going to give it a shot on this one.
I found out that the boot (startup logo) can be changed on MotoZ4. I use the classic "Root Browser"
and navigate to System/media, and sure enough, I see my bootanimation.zip file.
I still have my Droid Ultra around, so I landed on the System Dump link for the Droid Ultra on this site and found the original
Stock Droid Ultra boot logo. I downloaded it.
I test the animation, all great, it works, I even have the original Droid Ultra boot sound that I like as
well as the animation.

And so I opened my Moto Z4 with the Root explorer. I arrive at system/media, I can replace the bootanimation.zip
but how do I make the AUDIO playback at boot? I don't want "hello moto" default audio from the Moto Z4.
Sorting through this thread, it mentions the audio needs to be inside the part0 or part1 directly, but it needs to be called
"audio.wmv" <---?
I guess .ogg will not play?
I don't want to soft brick my device, so would anyone please help me out with the correct resolutions for the Moto Z4 boot screen?
(I can resize the image sequence from the Droid Ultra), I just need to know how to play the boot sound correctly.
Please help.
Thanks!
