Hey, I'm just wondering if anyone has a root method for the Verizon LG V10 running software version VS99023A on 6.0? Or is there any way to downgrade to 11B being that there seems to be a root method for those on 11B? Thanks.
There isn't root available an it's not possible to downgrade.

Well in that case. Is there an update for this model to Android 7.0? I no longer receive OTA updates.

Well thanks for all the good news haha. Middle fingers up to Verizon for screwing their V10's. Any hopes so far for future success on this model?

A member posted in my guide that he recieved the VRAUMEJ9 4.3 update.
Verizon devices will probably be the last to receive such an update

I'm just looking forward to having a native 4.3 that folks can build a good ROM from and that my Google Wallet tap and pay works on... beyond that, it's all gravy...

kies dont work cause verizon has the software that does most of what kies does if you see when you first plug your VN2 in the cd install pop up use that to get the update and repair software for the Note 2
my update came ota. kies sucks with the Verizon version.

As South Florida always seems to be the last to receive OTAs from Sprint, just wondering if anyone had a chance to post the OTA.

Yes. I'm in NC and am looking for an official ota release of the update because I have no interest in rooting or messing up my phone I paid full price for
When its available, it will on XDA here
Really annoyed with marshmallow update. Is there a post explaining how to remove this update with everything I'll need to start the process.

There is no way to go back to lollipop. If you try, you will end up bricking your phone

Hi everyone,
Root is coming. Im getting my aboot back now and going to make a kdz. There is a huge chance that your phone could break so I'm really looking for somebody who is either under warranty or doesn't care about their v10 because they have a new phone. I can't do it because this is my daily phone and I don't have warranty. Any help would be great. Message below

You have warranty or your highly aware that this hasn't been tested and if it fails it could be a complete brick?
So, nobody tested it yet?
What do you want to test?
Just the root?
TWRP?
both

I already had to return one a few months ago with the bootloop problem. Have access to Octopus Box too.

It's a tot that will give you TWRP to then root. But there is not guarantee this will work

dm me, let's chat over hangouts
Are you still in need of testing? I just got this V10 from Verizon as replacement for my 1st V10 bootlooping. Soooo I've got 90 days full warranty plus tmp if needed.
Let me know I'm down to test. I understand that I'll most likely create a brick or that I need to adopt that mindset as its a possibility. That's okay with me.

Hmmm I'm half tempted I have a few spare phones laying around just in case of brick.

I've no spare phones but not having root on the same phone I had root on is driving me a little insane. Factor in the possible bootloader unlock and it's potential and I don't care if I have to use a 15 dollar flip phone for awhile.
I'm just unaware of the testing situation. If its needed yet or not and if so if it's ready for testing???

so as of right now i'm taking all of you who are willing into consideration. I am having issues getting ahold of the guy who has my files, as soon as i get them I'll let everyone know!
