Hi guys
A few months ago I switched my camera glass because it cracked. Since a few weeks I have 4 dust particles on my camera. I opened the phone several times to clean it.
I used:
1) air bulb
2) distilled water on a cotton swab
3) special cleaner
4) microfibre cloth
5) antistatic cloth
But nothing helped. The lens still has dust on it. Can anyone help me? And the dust is not on the outer glass, it's on the camera itself (and I can't see it)
Thanks in advance

If nothing really helped so far, give a shot to some chemical stuff, like a glass cleaner.

This isn't really anything to write home about, more of a way to show people how to rid yourself of the nagging charger port cover without a huge recessed gap being present afterward. Use as small and precise a tool as you can perhaps an exacto knife. I used haircutting scissors which was not appropriate for precision. I wanted to get the hole exactly the size of the port but the top and bottom were much too thin. I could only get both sides in tact. The right side is super glued and the left is attached still. I couldve done it better but to me it beats removing the entire cover and having a recessed gap the looks unnatural and unsightly.

I accidentally dropped my Galaxy Alpha on the floor (half a meter high) and here is the "nice" result: shattered glass and a deep scratch in the metal rim.
Anyone with the same bad experience?
How it was solved? Price??

In a Samsung Service Center, original parts (glass + panel).
Same. Mine fell from three feet and shattered the lcd not the gorilla glass that was somewhat funny
So I bought a new screen protector for my phone today, but upon opening the package I noticed that it doesn't even cover the whole screen (leaves approx. 2mm on both sides unprotected). So stay away from this piece of crap! It was also pretty expensive at 14,90€. I have already contacted both the reseller and manufacturer to notify them about the problem, and hopefully they will sort it out. Attached a picture below.

The kicked to this is if you use one that does cover the screen (Zagg) It does not sit on the screen on the edges where yours does not go. The screen is curved quite a bit and it is enough that you will probably have to use one of the plastic guards if you use one instead of glass unfortunately.
Hey all.
Running a quadlock case on my s8, because I use my device as a gps when riding offroad.
Has anyone got any experience with screen protectors that suit?
Ideally tempered glass that sticks everywhere, I used a nuglas and had it lift a touch at the top and the touch was very poor.
I work on the railway so my phone is constantly above concrete, steel or ballast rocks.
Whilst I don't tend to drop my phone, I have had tempered glass save the screen twice in three years. Do you think the liquid or self healing plastic stuff that's out there would be worth a look?
Cheers

I like the Word case the most. Lots of grip and makes the phone more comfortable to hold when gaming
MOD EDIT: LINK REMOVED
Personally I hate the word case, complete waste of money in terms of protection. This is what happened when my phone fell out of my pocket with the case on. Big dent leading to a crack along the antenna line to the front speaker grill and damage on the grill too.

Also the case came off too when it hit the ground and the tempered glass shattered. Would not recommend.
