I seem to be having a problem with voice actions.
When I use an app, let's say Google Voice Search, the mic comes up to accept speech but almost immediately it says "no speech heard".
I have to start it again and start speaking quickly so it won't time out.
Vlingo works fine and gives me plenty of time.
What could be affecting this?
Thanks
Jeff
Dear all,*
I got a new radio in my car, which allows me to connect it to the S3 via Bluetooth and to play music, to call etc.
It gives me also the possibility to do a voice search, but at the moment, S Voice starts when I'm doing this.
Is there any possibility to use Google Voice Search instead?
Many thanks in advance for your answer.*
All the best to you all,*
Mario
I have an aftermarket in dash gps system in my car that runs andorid 4.1.1 I use the app Sygic for navigation and recently they decided to switch the TTS voice used to the one in the andorid system. I had a voice called Picolo, which sounded horrible and it would always crash any music app playing as soon as it starts speaking so I installed Vocalizer and now every time the TTS voice speaks it crashes any app playing music not immediately but after the second time it speaks. So maybe there are more stable TTS voice apps? Or if possible someone has a solution to why all of the music apps crash? This is my first post so I don't know if I provided enough information so I hope this helps.
Hello
I found some one year old articles that says Google will add voice control to Google Play Music soon. (like pause, next, stop,..)
I tried to get it to work but no luck. Is it still not activated?
Are there any hacks to get voice control to work? Can you point me to them pls?
Thank You
I've been using the google assistant a lot so i have the hey google feature on. After the updates i found out that the microphone has a lot of noise and destortion. I saw in a post that this is a problem from "hey google " feature. So i made two recordings one with the hey google on and the other with the hey google off. It is miles better after i turned off the "hey google". Is someone else experiencing this or knows the solution to this problem
