Hi,
I have the RMN3 SE and I wonder if someone has tried to add Galileo GNSS support. Currently there is a phone with a Snapdragon 652 which has Galileo enabled. It is the BQ Aquaris X5 Plus.
Firmwares: https://www.bq.com/en/support/aquaris-x5-plus/support-sheet
BQ kernel source Github: https://github.com/bq/aquaris-X5-plus/
And a github repository whose source code backtracks up to Kenzo: https://github.com/x5plus-dev
Spanish forum discussion with CM 13.0 for that phone: http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=1262607
Note that this phone is sold in Europe, so it uses the same bands as Kate, albeit with a different baseband version with Galileo enabled.
Any clues if it would be possible and what should have to be modified? NON-HLOS.bin, GNSS related libraries? The phone does not have VoLTE support, or at least it is not listed by BQ as a feature. On the other hand it as NFC.
Any news?
Kenzo/Kate support Galileo GNSS?
Thanks.

Relevant part is the processor.
The Redmi Note 3 aka Mediatek aka Hennessy version features a Mediatek MT6795 Helio X10.
The Redmi Note 3 Pro aka Qualcomm aka SnapDragon aka Kenzo version features a Qualcomm MSM8956 Snapdragon 650.
There's no special gadgets like a case or screen protector coming with the Note 3.
On a side note: Your title is really bad for search engines, since it's way too broad. Try to think of something better next time, to help others, who have the same questions, find your thread. e.g. "[Q] Differences in versions, delivery content & Kernel source"
While Snapdragon has CM14, Mediatek has only CM12.1. Why Redmi Note 3 (Mediatek) is left behind?
Well, MediaTek is known of very bad in terms of custom developing. They just rarely releases source code.
So Xiaomi also didn't release source code for hennessy yet. And I'm 100% sure they won't do it. Without that it's hard to make stable custom ROM, because devs can't build custom kernel.
Also there are many more people who have SD than MTK and more people=better community=more custom developing
as said by kubap, Mediatek and Nvidia devices (except that nexus 7) won't get their source code released so developers can't build any stable ROM from source, that's why you get ported or no roms.
And MTK Redmis are banned in India right now. Whole India has only Snapdragon RN3. Snapdragon edition is the most popular all over the world. So the developers are mainly from China.
Welcome very warmly
Dear Developers of this forum to you I am asking you with a very polite request
for your support.
Due to the fact that it is currently the last fully functioning Rom available for
Huawei MediaPad T2 10.0 pro is Rom LineageOS 13.0-20180415-UNOFFICIAL-federer I am asking you with a very polite request to get drivers from
The GSM / LTE module from this fully working ROM and for compiling with Rom
LineageOS 14.1 UNOFFICIAL.
Rom LineageOS 14.1 UNOOFICIAL - is the Android Nougat 7 Rom.
In my Tablet everything works on this Roma except the GSM / LTE Module.
So the only solution is to translate drivers from the GSM / LTE module from
LineageOS 13 to Lineage 14.1.
Here is the link to LineareOS 13 https://www.android-hilfe.de/forum/...-pro.2780/lineageos-13-unofficial.852337.html
Please replace the drivers from the GSM / LTE module
on those present in LineageOS 14.1 the GSM / LTE module does not work.
I've found this tweet, which names "holi" as the codename for a "Qualcomm Snapdragon 400-series chipset which supports 5G! It's internally the SM4350 with 8 cores and an Adreno 619 as well for the GPU. It supports 90Hz."
https://twitter.com/i/web/status/1344685193534320644
Could "holi" be the name of our chipset, similar to how "koni" is the name of the OnePlus 8T chipset? There were reports of OnePlus 8Ts showing "koni" as the codename in recovery, while the codename for the phone itself is "kebab", so I'm wondering.
If so - does anyone know how we can find the real codename of the device?
The codename for the unlocked variant of the Nord N200 is "dre9", and the codename for the T-Mobile variant is "dre8t". OnePlus publishes the codenames for their devices on their Open Source Releases wiki page on GitHub. "holi" is probably the codename for the N200's chipset.
