Samsung vr? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Have any of you tried using the samsung vr gear with the note 3? I know its not available officially the note 3 but i thought maybe someone had wanted to use it bad enough that they hacked it with root and all that.

Used cardboard. OK.

[q] Galaxy gear Smartwatch or other smartwatches

Does anybody know if the galaxy gear smartwatch or any other smartwatch is or can be made to work with the droid dna? Thanks!
no. it won't work with the Droid DNA. These samsung smart watches are designed for samsung phone such as the Galaxy S5 , Galaxy S4, Note 3, etc..
I've heard about the gear working on the nexus 5 so it may work on aosp or cm roms.

I have the pebble smart watch. Love it. Does what I want it to. Last six days on a charge. Idk what all yer looking for. The pebble can't make calls, but it gives you any notification you want. I'd do some reading on the gear. It doesn't have very good reviews, and last I knew the gear only works on Samsung devices.

I have a Sony smartwatch that a friend gave me. It works just fine with the DNA.

I love my pebble. I have no desire to get a galaxy gear because I love it so much. That being said, afaik as long as you have root access you can make the galaxy gear work on any phone, you just need the right supporting apk's from touchwiz. That's how people have gotten it working on the nexus 5. I don't know how well it works though, my guess would be not as well as it does on a Samsung phone.

Most rootable device?

I'm thinking of getting a new android phone' I'm stuck between the samsung note 3 and the lg g2, I'm down to which phone I can change the most..... I liked the old samsung devices I could play a lo with them, I need a phone that I can change the GUI and all the software, like play with all of it. Which one do you think would work better the g2 or note 3, if you have any more ideas tell me
If you dont care about screen size go and buy note 3

I've had a good experience with the LG G2. Its easily moddable, even though it has a locked bootloader (it can be bypassed and all custom ROM's do that). Its super fast and has a battery life that is crazy good.
Re
Thanks guys, now add the s5 to the mix and who do you think wins?
Samsung has their Knox security that makes it a lot harder than strictly necessary to root.

I would also go for the Note 3, just my 2 cents.

No you cannot get it for your note 3, it's nexus only. The images for L already came out, do you not read tech news in general?

Best Feature to buy Samsung Galaxy Note 7

What is the best selling point that you feel very convincing for you to buy?
Let us discuss here... Poll your best reasons.
Even as a long time Note User (Note3-Note5) I liked the s7 Edge's design enough to lose my s pen to switch over to it. Now that the Note7 is here, I'm ready to jump back into the S Pen....
To answer your question the "glance" feature (yes I know its just software and available on note5 with custom rom) but that is just so incredible. I can't wait to use that for multitasking.
Also, the iris scanner combined with password entry and hiding apps just because you aren't the one looking at the phone is pretty tight!
Thats an easy one.
Ext sd card support.
Thats the main reason im ditching my note 5 and going note 7.

The "glance" feature isn't always on display, its an s pen feature which let's you switch back and forth between different apps very easily just by hovering with the s pen.

I'd rather it be waterproof. I can't imagine that is possible with a removable battery?
Seriously, the IR blaster community is strong. Never cared for it when I had it. Don't understand the love.

When I bought s6 last year then i started using Ir blaster, n it was amazing. I was able to control everything. When I used to go to Restaurants i secretly change channels and ac temperature, n it was fun. I miss that feature in my note 5.

There is nothing compelling me to go to this from the s7 edge, same design, bigger screen and smaller battery. Not

Best feature is the fact that they made a copy device of the S7 Edge and people still buy it.

Symmetry, Gorilla Glass 5, 5.7" screen, Water proof, 4gb Ram, are some that stand out...
People who owns s7 or s7 edge has no reason to upgrade.

I would agree that if you have an S7 edge and dont need the Spen not much point in buying one.
But for those who dont have an S7 edge and are in the market for a new device (like myself) the fact that the note is a copy is quite irrelevant.
Perhaps you didnt consider that?

Perhaps you didn't consider the $400 price difference. If that spen is worth $400 extra then I hope you really use it 24/7. I personally use it the first weeks only then I rarely use it. It is good to have there but for me bigger battery was a must.

$400 doesnt mean much to me honestly, not trying to sound like an ass but its just not a big deal on my end.
Im not a fan of the edge screen at all and if they had not toned it down on the note 7 i would not be buying one so thats the main reason Id go note over S7 edge.
I dont use the Spen alot either lol...bigger battery would have been nice for sure but as it is its 500 mah more than my note 5 so for me its a bonus.

I am trying to look at the bigger picture here and consider any customer in the market but if I like the device $400 is not a problem for me either. These manufacturers have broken our balls with such small upgrades and even after so many years we still don't have a perfect device. They hold back on hardware upgrades on purpose just so that users can have another reason next year to buy the new flagship. It is annoying. I still am convinced that the S7 Edge is Samsung's best phone this year. Performance wise and battery wise.

Yes it is, but I usually buy device after it becomes kind of old, after 6 month, so price reduces around 30%..
I used note 2 for almost 3 years, and i never felt to buy another phone, because it was fast with custom rom, I was able to play any game, I upgraded to note 5 just for the sake of camera.
So maybe I will buy note 7 after few months.

If you need a waterproofed Note, you're using it wrong. Going from a Note 4 to the 7. The 5 wasn't for me. The addition of the SD did it for me and believe it or not the gif creator.

Stable root process for the s9 plus

Does anyone know if we are close to achieving roof on the S9 plus yet? Thanks in advance
