Both my brother and sister are using the rom and they are not complaining about battery life, they say it's great, unfortunately i can't get a screenshot because i don't use their phones as the are always out for college, I've used it before LineageOS 14.1 and it was great, so go ahead and install it, don't worry
Thx a lot. I used RR MM till now but I found this rom much faster with the same number of customization options. It has the app sidebar what I like very much (RR doesn't). With themer app I managed to get the same look like before with PitchBlack themes. I think I will stay on MM untill one of N roms become as customizable like this one.

The roms that i've teseted
So in the begining of this there was only one rom for 5.0
Which is the firsr unoff cyanogenmod
So i flashed it with the gapps but there was a lot of bugs (no storage , no gps ,,,)
So i returned back to cloudyg3
Then the second thread for the cyanogenmod was relased so i flashed the rom but with the same bugs i decided to wait for offi..
Then another one by gabmus was relased this one was good with me.. With only a few bugs like chatting apps even with that i used it daily till the liquidsmooth relase
It was the best with no bugs even the video playback works fine so it's the best one there
What i used :
Twrp 2.8.1.1
Gapps
Beta superSU
Hope it was useful
Sorry for bad eng

This being the guy who deletes the entire CM code tree multiple times when he gets confused? Has trouble using supersu in cm (wtf?) Can't figure out a boot loop in his own ROM and gets on IRC to help fix it?
Good luck with that.

There's a flaashible zip floating around the official thread that fixes it.
Also there are test builds for aicp based on 5.0 that I ran the better part of today and I didn't find any issues. Knock on works.

You mean the 18 months old kk-version?
Battery was very good on a lot of kk-roms, although as I understood the OP, he was talking about the newer Roms he didn't check yet.

I read and understood what he said, and advised him accordingly. Why would i suggest a KK rom? He did say new right?
Have you checked the dev tread lately, you will find the new Slim Rom 4.8 ported by Rakesh. V 5.1.1 LP

Sorry, this is just a confusion.
Obviously you talk of the stock based SLiM Rom, and I was referring to the famous aosp-/cm-based slim Rom.
I hate the name they chose, it's so similar to slimrom.

I recommmnd the Google Style ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z2/development/rom-google-style-v1-0-t3300253
It's a Sony stock-based ROM with AOSP/CM apps. The fastest ROM I've ever used, and I get very regularly over 5h SOT with very, very heavy usage

Yes, you can. I am check the screenshot.
First flash Rakesh's port 4.8 full rom as a base for Z2. Then on your link download the 4.9 OTA and flash it.
Later you can change your buildprop line for model number to say D6503.

No its not as much slimed down like Purex or Google -Style and far away from the ~300mb of AOSP - like Roms.
But hey, if you install it as your first rom, it will go on systems partition anyway, so why bother? There are lots of people that say it's smooth and battery saving (although some complain about 4.9 being not so battery -friendly as the version before).
I am curious about which marshmallow-roms will show up, and till then I just stay with GoogleStyle as my primary.
Even spent some Bucks on AOKP, cause they made my old HTC wildfire run android 4.04 with tons of features and a power -saving mode I haven't seen on any z2-rom (autoswitch to 2g at screen off) so far....

Yes Sony said so. At the moment there is a beta program in selected countries.
Atm there are MM-builds of Validus, AOKP, AOSP, CM13 (and possibly others) available, hope Sony releases their official version soon.
If a few people are interested, nightlies for aicp could be arranged for the phone. Please let me know if you're interested.

It's Android 6.0.1 .

It's nice, fast and stable.. The only thing i found is that when i click on Live Display in settings, settings crash. The same was on RR Rom too.. So there is something wrong with source ?!?!?!?! don't know
There is no SMS app or is just me? :silly:
So from the feedback I have gotten from this thread, there isn't much interest in AICP. That alright

OptimalPartTable
TWRP 3.0.2.0

What I found not working until now are the LiveDisplay, it says "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped". When wanting to add more tiles in the notification dropdown, when reaching Heads Up option it displays error message "Unfortunalety, System UI has stopped" and it takes me to the main locked screen.
Have these bugs been addressed in a newer version? I do like it and would like to use it as my daily OS, but I use both LiveDisplay and there are some tiles that I would like to add to make my life easier.
Thanks

MM Tesla was a rom with a very good battery life on the onyx and I heard Tesla N is extremly battery friendly on OP3. Maybe they have some draining bugs. I haven't time to try it (I'm on MM Validus)

If you have free time, try a custom kernel and report the battery life here
