sd card issue

Guys,
I have taken sd card from my nokia e72 and added to samsung galaxy s2 but i am not able to see the card
my files\external card
can anyone give me description on it?
First check Settings > Storage, and check what the top most 4 lines say. Does it state anything about 'SD-card'? Can you select 'format SD-card'?
Do you have the folder 'external_sd' on your internal storage?
Do you mean you can't see it on your phone, or you can't see it on your pc? If you mean through your pc when browsing internal storage: you can't see your external sd by clicking on 'external_sd'. You have to select the other storage that's available in your browser.
Anyways, just reformat the card if nothing helped. Format it as FAT32, then your phone will recognize it.
i have formatted the microsdhc(class 4) card as FAT32 system and then inserted into mobile...
Settings\Storage does not show sd card
and also in task manager for sd card it shows 0.0 bytes
please i need help....

[Q] Formatting the Internal SD

CM9 / ICS
I'm looking to find out how in the heck to install apps into the phone's internal SD partition.
To free up internal memory, I know you can format a microSD card into an EXT and FAT partition. Then you link apps using link2SD, freeing up more internal memory and storing most data on the microSD card, in the EXT partition.
I'd like to do exactly this, but with the internal SD partition acting as the microSD card. That is, format the internal partition into FAT and EXT, then use link2SD to link to the new EXT partition on the internal SD card.
Minitool Partition Wizard just will not do it. How is this possible? Is this even possible??

[Q] Move apps to SD card

Anybody can tell how to move apps to SD card ?
I am unable to move my apps from phone memory to SD card.
I have 64gb Sandisk Class 10 memory card.
I dont get any options to move them to sd card in the app manager.
I also installed app2sd application but it says my phone doesnot have a real primary source of memory or my memory source is emulated.
How do i transfer ?? I have these 2gb and 4gb games which i want to transfer to memory card.

Not possible only thing to do is to swap your internal memory for sd ext.
Need root for that and mod to swap.
It will make your sd card internal memory 64 gb and your internal 16 gb will beed read like external music pictures ect.
Why there is no way to move or install apps on SD?
Most of phone have this simple thing...!!!
Could it be from Jelly Bean?
Any ideas or how to solve it?
We need a solution other than Sapping or rooting
For those large game files. (although I have yet to see a 4 gb game..) you can use directory bind. You link a certain directory (in this case a game data folder in android/data) to make the game use your micro sd memory card. [Q] [HELP] My SD card does'nt read on my XMP

Help me...
I use guide from Galaxy Y > [GUIDE] Increase RAM using Swap File and Swap Partition ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=33472176#post33472176 )
I got 16GB SD card, so i try using this guide. It works, but i don't really like it.
So i want to go back (not using swap method), and i format my SD card.
But i fotgot to off the swap (like in the tutor, you mus off it, or your SD card can't be mounted)..
Now my SD card can't read by my phone :'( , i can't use it anymore.
Whe i connect my SD card with card reader, it show (not broken or something), and when in CWM, i choose mount SD card, i can backup.
But when i turn on my phone, it not read (mount) my SD card.
And i can't make swap (because my SD card did'nt read by my phone, it not show)..
help me
Tried it with a linux system? It must detect your card because swap partitions will be detected by linux systems .
Edit: format it in fat32 file system then only it will be recognized by your phone.

Problem with using SD Card as Internal Storage

I have a Moto E 2014 (condor) in which I installed Lineage 14.1 a while back. I want to use my SD card as internal memory. However:
1. If I migrate data from internal to SD card, the apps on the SD card doesn't work at all. There would be no point doing so.
2. If I don't migrate data from internal to SD card, the apps installed on external will work very well, but I cannot access the SD card in any way. Even if I have 16 GB memory card, only the 2.2 GB internal card is accessible in file explorers and when connecting to PC.
3. If I use the SD card as a portable device, all apps will be installed only in internal, so there wont be enough space for all apps.
4. I wanted to use Link2sd as before, but no matter how many times I partition the card, Link2sd won't recognize it.
Please help me.

I only wanted to be a bit more specific on this issue. It's the one thing that's buggy, otherwise this OS is perfect.

after migrating the data from internal storage to adopted sd card, move apps manualy from external storage to internal storage, somo apps are too buggy on this device, because the sd card reader doesn´t have too much speed of read and write

Then there would be no point in using external as internal storage. The very reason I want to do so is to install apps in external. About speed, it worked fine with Link2SD before, so pretty sure it's the OS that is bugged.
