Noticed that in at least a couple of apps I installed last night (Words with Friends was one) that when it runs, it forces a portrait orientation that is bizarre. If your typical Portrait is a quarter-turn clockwise from Landscape with the power switch at top left, then this portrait is completely upside down from that, so that your power button would be on the bottom. There was at least one more that did this, perhaps Waze(?) but just wondered if there was a setting to unlock the accelerometer on apps like this...once it starts, it doesn't matter what direction you spin the tablet.
TIA
Hi, I've noticed that there is a problem in my 101 XS and the multitactil feature.
When I need to use 2 fingers at the same time and I remove 1 finger, the tactil sensor "reset" and detect the finger that I dont lift up how if It wasnt there and I put it for first time. Its difficult to explain.
For example, in games that use left finger to move the joystick and right finger to move the camera (like Shadowgun). If I move the joystick up with left finger and move the camera with right finger, and I lift up the finger of the camera, the position of the joystick reset and its take the central position (how if I put the finger on the screen without moving it). The result is that I move the character, then move the camera, lift up the finger of the camera and the character stop running because this issue. Its not the game, the same behaviour happens in all games, and all the system.
Thx for your help, and sorry about my bad explanation.
Hi I Have a Samsung GT-P5113 The Accelerometer Axis Seem to be mapped wrong as tilting left and right acts as if im tilting it forward and back and tilting forward and back shows as left and right however screen rotation work as it should how can i remedy this?
I think I must have dropped my phone sometime and ruined the orientation sensor. When I open my camera, it is stuck in panoramic orientation. Toggling screen rotation has no effect whatsoever. On normal home screen, its set at portait and wont rotate. I've download apps that tell you about your sensors such as Android Sensor Box, and it shows that the sensors not responding whether i tilt or shake my phone. Anyone else heard of a problem like this?
I have a weird issue. When I place two fingers on my phone screen and they're both placed om the same line, it causes issues. As shown in the example bellow
Your browser is not able to display this video.
As you can see, when one finger moves across the screen the other static input slightly moves left and right. Also shown at the end is what happens when the fingers aren't lined up, the issue doesn't happen. I don't know of this is how every touch screen works. And if it does, can this function be turned off?
