There maybe a problem with your router's DHCP or the no of devices it that can connect are maxxed out. Try disconnecting any other device and reconnect your Redmi Note 3. If this doesn't work, try giving a static IP to your phone in Modify Network, and keep everything else untouched.

Help: WiFI Problem

Hi, I am using Redmi note 3 Kenzo runs on RR ROM Latest Version. In sometimes my device will not provide internet through wifi. It will shows that connected to a network but no internet connection. Same time if i connected to the same network by my other phone or with my Laptop, there is no problem. I can access the internet. After rebooting the phone (Note 3), It will work like normal. Plz help me to solve my problem.
The MIUI update has bugged the 2.4GHZ wifi; it will connect and work on 5GHz, but 2.4 tries to connect - connects and instantly disconnects, despite the wifi status saying it is connected and working.
I found this info under the phones advanced CIT testing menu.
It HAS been reported on the MIUI forums, so hopefully will get fixed soon, until then, I suggest you disable 2,4GHz, so you dont accidentally run up a huge 4G data bill like I have.

S9 Plus SM-G965F not detecting 5Ghz Wifi

Hi fellow xda members. I recently purchased the Samsung S9 Plus SM-G965F variant and in Wifi it cannot see the 5Ghz network that i have created. It will only detect the 2.4Ghz networks. I have installed the wifi-analyzer app as well but that also doesnt see it whereas my iphone can see it and connect to the 5ghz network without any issues. Ive been googling and searching this forum but couldnt find anyone having the same problem as me. I am not that experienced in android so dont know what could be the solution. Here are a few more details that might help
Baseband version: G965FXXU2BRG8
Build Number: R16NW.G965FXXU2BRGA

I'm also havingthe same issue.it's definitely not a problem with the router..my every device can detect 5ghz wifi while s9 plus can't. ? ..
What to plz help..
Go to your wifi router settings and change the 5Ghz channel. Set it to one that is not too crowded (use the wifi analyser app) and that all your devices can connect. In my case the channel 157 solved my problem. I live in Canada and channel regulations can be different depending on each country laws.
Solved It

5GHz wifi not working on Redmi note 9 pro (indian)

I'm using Redmi note 9 pro(indian) variant. MiUi global stable 12.0.5
Recently i bought a xiaomi duel band router and i have separated 5GHz and 2.4GHz band in the router setting.
But my redmi 9 pro is showing only the 2.4 GHz SSD. Though it worked on 5GHz for few hours.
***There's no problem in the router as my laptop and other devices are working fine in 5G band.
***** I have tried changing the region. *****
I tried to manually add the network SSID and password but it didn't work.
Then i have tried to change the channel in router setting. It didn't work either.
Did anyone have faced this problem and know any solution?
This is a bug in android 11, the temporary solution is first open the hotspot and the connect wifi , wifi connected then go to wifi setting and change 'dhcp ip' into 'static ip' and then turnoff hotspot.

Your other devices can connect to the router using 5g? Does it come with error message when you try and connect? Did you try to restarting the router? Also check what "mode" 5g is in use in router settings
yes my other device can connect, my S21 Ultra has no Problems did try restart router and phone and change wps2 to wps3
1. Change password for 5G wifi ssid on your wireless router.
2. 'Forget network' on your Samsung device.
3. And then try to connect the 5G Hz wifi ssid.

Congratulations on having your problem solved.
Btw, it looks like your native language is not English either.
