Gear Fit2 and LG G3 - Samsung Gear Fit

I've searched all over the place for a solution for this but to no avail, so I made a thread in case anyone has something I haven't tried yet.
So I just recently received a free Gear Fit2 and I've been trying to pair it with my LG G3 on Fulmics 6.7, but the official Samsung Gear manager just crashes every time I attempt to pair. Had the GF2 driver from play store installed, uninstalling it and trying to pair with the Gear app alone would just result in a "Download Failed" message.
Tried Open Fit as well and no dice. Anyone got an idea?

Getting Galaxy Gear watch to work with CM11 M9

Hi recently I've installed CM11 and updated my Galaxy gear to Tizen due to reading about several users being able to use the device on the LG G3 without needing touchwiz.
I've tried installing the Gear Manager apk and it installs fine, but never connects just hangs on connecting to gear. I have tried taking apart the apk and installing the modules separately and have gotten as far as getting a Unsupported Device error message.
My question is has anyone had any success getting the Galaxy Gear with Tizen OS to properly work with CM? Thank you. I'm open to any suggestions.
Update
An update, I have been able to get the gear to connect to the Phone and access its settings through Gear Manager. I've encountered issues with it getting alerts, like messages and missed calls on it. So that means alerts do not work.
Besides the alerts the way I got it connected was using different versions of Gear Manager and picking out specific apks out of the packages. If anyone in the future would like to try and get it working here is a Link to what Guide I followed to make it work.

I will keep this thread updated if I get any progress when I have more time to tinker with the watch. Good luck!

[Q] Gear Fit on Nexus 6

Hello all,
About two months ago, I bought a Google Nexus 6. I found a file for gearfit manager on this site, that I downloaded, and it worked fine. I don't remember which one it was, but today all of a sudden, I get "Gear fit manager quit responding." I have downloaded multiple files, but the only one I have found that will load up is gearfitmanager_no_crash.apk. It loads up fine, and see the gearfit, it will try to connect and give me a passkey, But then it just stops. It tells me it is paired, but wont connect. The watch is updated to the latest firmware, as I have an old Note 2, that it will connect to. The Nexus 6 is running Android lollipop 5.1.1. Can someone point me towards the right direction here?
Thanks a lot.

Gear S Apps Stuck on Installing

I have a Gear S SM-R750A and when I try to install apps from the Gear Manager App Store they stick on Installing. I can use the Galaxy App Store to download normal apps to my Note 4 without issues just not to the Gear S. I am currently running Software Version R750AUCU1AOB1 and running 5.1.1 on the Note 4. Please let me know if anyone has found a fix to this issue. I have tried resetting my Gear S and reinstalling the Gear Manager as well.
I'm running stock rom on note 4 and I have this happen from time to time as well. Haven't found a fix other than canceling the installation and waiting a while to try again.

I have the same issue with my stock Note 3 and Gear s. Sammy has been no help. I have reset my phone and watch but that didn't help. I stay stuck on installing. Canceling doesn't help. Frustrated as hell. I won't buy another Gear x until they fix this. Don't get me started talking about Tizen. Not a fan.
Hi this happened to me. I did a restart of the phone and gear s and that fixed the problem.
I've tried restarting and reinstalling my watch to my phone several times. No luck. I am running stock everything with the most current firmware updates. No luck. Not rooted. My watch worked before I reset my phone using Kies and that's when everything stopped working. I can't even run opera mini. My watch gets stuck on installing. The phone says it downloads then goes to installing. ..forever. When Igo to my app manager, the apps I installed are not there. Btw, I have a note 3 along with my gear s.
Fixed
I finally fixed this problem. I did a total reset of my phone TMO Note 3 and my Gear S. I backed up my files on my computer, not using Kies. Reboot and reinstall all my apps, check for problems after every 3 apps. Works. I'd like to send a shot out to Samsung for their assistance. However, anything I shouted would need to be edited for expletives. Uncle Sammy was no help. Tizen still sucks. The app store is crap.... unless you want a watch face.

Hi! It happened to me with a xiaomi redmi3 pro.

Hey guys, did you manage to connect GearFit2 with any Tablet?
Yes and No and I spent a couple of hours being shuffled around to the most unhelpful people who determined it is not supposed to work with tablets, only phones so they would not support it on a tablet. However, I could get it to work on an old tab 3 lite, running an older rom than required but not on the Tab S2. Couldn't instal the required drivers... Google app store says no. Samsung is playing their games again. Don't know why I expected anything else from them.

Gear S + Pixel XL

Reposting this in a separate new thread after also posting in the sticky tutorial for others searching on google how to get the Pixel to work with the Gear S.
"I have a Pixel XL and tried to use the above steps to connect my Gear S to the phone.
When I try to install "Samsung Gear_com.samsung.android.app.watchmanager_2.2.14100299_2114100299" the phone says it is corrupt and cannot be installed.
When the gear manager is launched, it cannot find the watch at all. But using the regular bluetooth connection method from androids bluetooth settings does allow me to connect it to the phone. But manager still does not detect/activate the watch...
Please help! I have gotten way too used to the watch to get along without it..."
I was able to download and install gear manager from play store without any issues. Still doesn't connect to my gear s though. Says it can't find, even when I reset the watch. I need help to. Don't want to return my pixel, but love my gear s

The Gear Manager which you downloaded from Play Store does not connect to Gear S. It only works with Gear S2. This has been confirmed by Samsung that Gear S can only connect to a Samsung phone. Currently I'm using a spare Galaxy Note 3 to synchronise with Gear S for S Health tracking.

Tested on my xperia Z5C and not see also works with my Fit2. So we must wait for an update ....
I am going through the same issue, and after spending eternity with high level techs on the phone and in person at a Samsung store, I found that the answer lies in the Gear S. The last firmware update for the watch was early this year, and the watch itself cannot communicate with Nougat. Even though Gear Manager will communicate with Nougat. Right now we are at the mercy of Samsung to update the Firmware for a 3 year old device, that has been replaced by 2 generations...
