All custom roms are laggy or eventually crap out on you. Stock roms are as quick and reliable as it gets.
Beamed in by telepathy.

Yes, probably it's caused by poor memory management on your phone. So I recommend you to install different firmware or some custom ROM and see if it's will get better or not.

Neat ROM 6.3 or 6.2
ZDroid v3 or v4
Archidroid 1.7.6
These are best stock based Roms with bloatware being optional for those who want to use them..

Omega is also a good choise of a custom 4.3 rom, the bloatware is also opcional

Paranoid Android is a very stable AOSP ROM.
You can find it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1745003
There is also a PA 4.4.2 now, it's still in beta (beta3 is the lateset) but already very stable (I'm using it myself and haven't really encountered any bugs).
You can download it here:
http://goo.im/devs/paranoidandroid/roms/i9300
I'm tested paranoid android and performance 3d in antutu is veery pooor (130 points instead 5357 points).... Other AOSP ROM 4.3 with battery friendly?? Im searching recent 4.3 aosp bam rom but the builds are kitkat and it is buggy(camera doest work well-battery draining)....so im searching latest bam ROM 4.3 stable build or equivalent, and a kernel for it

@aniket.lamba Drop me your email ID in a PM, if you want to get this official.
I know the OP states this is based on AOSP, but is it really not based on CM 12.1? Or is this really the first AOSP-based ROM for our device?

its fixed in cm 12.1 in the latest build.
Do the custom notification lights work in this Rom? Also is LTE (T-mobile) working?
When the CPU goes to deep sleep is the home button unresponsive?

Google xposed marshmallow xda. Using framework version 81. On mobile, don't have links handy at the moment.
Flash framework after rom in recovery. Install xposed installer apk by sideloading.

Why sideload and not from package inataller (with unknown aources allowed)?

Downloading the APK and installing with unknown sources enabled IS sideloading.

Hello, I can't find a guide to unlocking the bootloader, I have the Redmi Note 3 Pro 3/32gb, and would love to flash Lineage OS, but since I don't want to mess this up I need your guys help! Thank you.
I think this one is best since here you don't need to download the whole stock rom.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/guide-rn3-pro-se-t3565172
And yeah, i am linking you the unofficial way.
After you unlock it flash the firmware by psyman and then lineageOS (i am assuming you are in mm now)
